New proprietors since Jan 2023. They had a Sunday morning buffet .

I had El Agave Omelette for $11.59.
A plate full of delicious eggs cheese pico potatoes & refries w/ tortillas.

Hubby's Posole $13.99 was satisfying & delicious as he hoped, and came with sides of onions cilantro tortilla & lime wedges

The proprietors are friendly and service-oriented. Pretty interior. Soft Mexican music in the background.

Excellent service. Our server, Hector, was awesome. Everyone was friendly. The food was delicious and authentic. Best dressed beer around. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were huge. This is a hidden gem. Unlike any dining experience around. Highly recommend.

The carne asada was great, tender and full of flavor. My mother-in-law had the 7 mares and I will definitely try that next time, it looked so good and even had crab legs! We have made this our spot to eat at when traveling through Portales 😊

Wanted an early dinner today, and while passing through Portales noticed a little restaurant hiding in a plaza. The exterior has a lot to be improved for sure. Now when talking about the food, well let me tell you. I ordered the carne guisada, and my wife had the 1 beef taco with the 2 cheese enchiladas plate. For starters they bring you a basket of chips and a saucer of salsa, believe me it was delicious. Both plates were very delicious, the salsa was so good we had to order more to top off the plates. The service was very fast, friendly, and attentive. I will recommend this place, although we will be coming back to try other menu items. Don't be intimidated by the exterior looks of the place. Good atmosphere as well.

This place is better than advertised and they do a great job advertising!! Friendly staff, amazing food, and a great experience! I will definitely be back and bring friends with me!!

My server was wonderfully pleasant as was the hostess. I had never had a Horchata drink before and am glad that I checked it out.

The prices here are really good. The atmosphere is chill. The food and drinks are really good and it's inviting place overall. Don't sleep on thus place!
