The Courthouse Cafe LLC

When I was pregnant I was craving one of their survival bars SO BAD, so I drove over and then realized I forgot my wallet (pregnancy brain). They were so kind and gave me one for free. That's just the kind of service you get here. They have the very best people. Courthouse is my go to. I meet friends here often and bring out of town family and friends. Their breakfast is fantastic and so is their lunch/dinner menu. My favorite is their Ruben sandwich but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They even made my baby shower cake and it was INCREDIBLE.

My kids and I loved this place. The food was really good and affordable, and the cold brew was good and I'm kinda picky! The kids had fun with the arcade games and ride on toys! We also got some of the cupcakes and they were delicious and looked awesome! Also the staff was really really nice!!

Ordered in person for carry out. The place was not very crowded.

The food was made fresh, so it was a little bit of a wait. Still, the wait was not too long.

My husband ate his burger and there was a hair in it. Mary, was so kind and apologetic and gave us a new burger.

All the food was delicious. We ordered the Billy the Kid Burger, The accountant, the parole board, and the Havana sandwich. All the food was great.

This place makes great burgers and sandwiches. They also sell cookies and other bakery items that are really good! The restaurant has a very welcoming feel to it and the staff is nice. Prices are pretty cheap for some great food. You can also do carryout. Nice decor. It's also not super busy, when I've gone, so if you want to sit and eat in a more quiet establishment, this place is great!

I have to admit pulling up to the place and seeing the broken rides out front and walking into a shotty appearing arcade, I was concerned about what we were getting ourselves into. Don't judge a book by its cover. Wonderful people, huge portions of fresh good, great coffee and they are focused on family and that is awesome.

Always a good place to get a sandwich. They also serve breakfast. They keep a tidy restaurant. If you have a sweet tooth, their cookies are very good!

We are from Tularosa, came up on a lil road trip and stumbled across this Cafe :)
Excellent dining experience!! The food was delicious but the most refreshing thing was the Customer Service! Everyone in the Establishment was Friendly and Smiling (even tho they had masks on, you could tell they had a smile :) )

Solid experience! This is a great lunch stop or meeting place in downtown Portales! The sandwich is good, and the chips are homemade!

Food and service was great. We really enjoyed it! Took my granddaughters there for lunch . Did not take long for the food to come out 😊👍

The sandwich is packed full of flavor and character. All the ingredients marry well together from the savory meats to the flaky croissant. Will highly recommend this sandwich and restaurant. The staff was super friendly and loving.

Love their sandwiches! Wife and I get two, then swap halves. We're working our way through their menu. I park at the courthouse and jaywalk to the restaurant because I'm a menace.

I had the White Collar Jailbird sandwich. Fresh and tasty. The potato chips are homemade and awesome. Get the cucumber salad! So good I had to get some to go.
Atmosphere is conducive to good conversation or a good think if eating solo.

Friendly staff, good food. Was sad the biscuits and gravy were sold out, but the burrito was good. Things for kids (big and small) to do while you wait. Got some cupcakes to enjoy later.

Great sandwich shop! The desserts were amazing and fresh! They also have a little gift shop and arcade area!!

Neat place and is usually empty, nice place to not feel rushed or to come with family or kids.

Always a wonderful time when we go out. This is my go to place for Lavender Sweet tea and butterfly pea tea when it's in season. Fantastic food. Fantastic price. Amazing quality. Absolutely a gem in town ❤
