It’s the atmosphere for me. The atmosphere was lovely, vibe perfect and landscape was well done. I only order fries but they were good enough to try something else the next time I visit. It’s a beautiful setting for meetings, parties etc

Update:

I revisited with my family and everyone had a wonderful time. Check out the photos and videos. The mushroom burger was everything and better than we expected.

The best chicken sandwich I've had in Philadelphia. Though, not perfect, I will be coming back.

The mocha I had was rich and creamy, the pastry (cinnamon roll) was buttery and pulled apart without any plasticy residue or toughness.

The breakfast sandwich was layered with a guac/salsa cover that was solid.

Overall, this place is a 9.3/10

Great seasonal menu of delicious food that is fresh and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is causal and there’s always something intriguing to view from the outdoor seating ranging from the natural beauty of the Schuylkill River to the contrasting beauty of the steel and wood of the restored industrial elements of the property and railroad bridge.

Amazing atmosphere there, so many options for food and drinks. You order at the cashier and then go sit where you like. They have music and good vibes. I tried their Wagyu Hot Dog with fries and also their Mediterranean Bowl. Both delicious. I recommend the place. They have mimosas, ice tea, beers, a lot of options. And for every taste. Definitely will be back when im in Philly.

Perfect staycation vibes being right next to Residence Inn. Small menu, but delicious huevos rancheros and breakfast sandwiches. Amazing lounge with connect 4, a hit with the kids. Love the self help and self clean-up. Food was delicious, and the serving ware was beautiful. Again, love the hip Cafe lounge decor and laid back environment. Very relaxing, and the outdoor industrial park look was really cool. The outdoor section was well thought out, with plenty of room for kids to roam, and being next to the Schuylkill River (and Pencoyd Trail) was great. Can even walk to the United Artists Manayunk theater too!

Update: Came for a second time. Even more fun activities for the family. Food and vibes and outdoor furnishing even better than I remember. Nice bustling energy, and great ice cream at The Shack next door (outside in the back). Definitely a family favorite spot. Will come back, hopefully soon!

Stopped here after a hike and I’ll be back. You order inside and they bring the food to you. The line can be a a bit long but the atmosphere is great to chill out and wait. They have drinks and drafts plus coffee. Good vegetarian option-I had the portobello po’boy and it was great.

Philly Inquirer was right. Their breakfast sandwiches are FIRE 🔥 I had both the fried halumi and the chicken sausage, hard to pick which one was better. Both pretty complex flavors, good bread to filling ratio.

The vibe is unmatched, they do waterfront dining right. Last but not least, the staff were warm and had that sense of pride you get when you’re proud to serve folks amazing food. Will be back.

Absolutely love this spot. So peaceful we hung out for a bit tonight. Definitely worth it. I'd absolutely recommend. If you just wanna have a drink and sit by the fire and take a walk along the bridge. Staff were super patient as I didn't know what I wanted. I got the cider.

I know you can't hear me but I'm gonna talk to you like you can. Listen, this place is not budget-friendly, but the food is very, very good. I don't do reviews often, but since I knew I was going to give a review on this place I decided to order more than what I would have planned to eat. I had the Maple yogurt which cost $9. I would only suggest buying it if you love yogurt as this bowl is very good. Picture included. Also, I got the TLK Burger which costs $15. It's a double patty-brioche breaded burger. Very tasty, rated above 5-guys, but equal to a Shake Shack kind of tasty. A bag of sour cream chips and a powdered cream filled donut. You can skip those two. The chips were a kettle kind and the donut was for someone who does not frequent Dunkin or Krispy. Last, onion rings, there were plenty of them and very tasty. Ask for extra dipping sauce. This spot is a kids and dog friendly place. Experience this hidden spot at least once! Enjoy!

This a great place to hang out with friends. There is a lounging are in the back corner which is great for playing board games and hanging out after your meal. There is also a large amount of outdoor seating available.

Now on to the food. The menu changes with the season, but what is consistent is the amazing quality of food. All items are around $15, but the portions are fairly large of amazing quality. I had their wagyu hotdog, grilled cheese with ham sandwich and a large fries for $40. The food was so good that I had two meals while I was there.

Note: The establishment takes orders at the register and then will bring the food to you.

We enjoyed lunch and the food was fresh. Great salad with shaved brussel sprouts, parmesan bread crumbs. I got the landing sandwich which was delicious! Grilled cheese had such fluffy bread!

Outstanding location, food and service. The Landing Kitchen is a must stop for delicious food (best French Toast I've ever had) in a unique, funky atmosphere. We hosted an event here and everyone was impressed by the food and atmosphere. Kudos to the Landing Kitchen!

We ate here back in April 2021 and loved the food, location, and experience. I also like seeing how an old iron works site was repurposed into a great restaurant and hotel across the Schuylkill river from Manayunk.

Decided to travel here for an impromptu late lunch last Tuesday. We've been here before because The Landing Kitchen offers so much more than great food and beverage selections. It also is home to such an accessible space overlooking the Schuylkill (skoo-kill) River. It sits across from Manayunk and can be accessed by walking bridge that spans the river. There are walking paths along the river and at The Landing Kitchen outdoor space there is a bocce court, ping pong table, corn hole, a giant Connect 4 game and other items. There is protected dining outside and also propane heaters and a fire pit strategically located. Back to food, my wife enjoyed their signature chicken sandwich and I opted for a bowl of outstanding Chorizo Corn Chowder and the TLK Burger. Chased it down with a Workforce IPA from King of Prussia and it too was an outstanding IPA. The Landing Kitchen also offers wine and cocktails, along with various coffee offerings as well. In season it really gets crazy busy, so now is a great time to pay a visit. They do breakfast sandwiches and other offerings as well. Salads and sides are equally satisfying. Cheers.

While staying at the Residence Inn, I popped in for a takeout order. Cappuccino was perfect. Grilled cheese with and without ham….delish! Most importantly, the staff is wonderful, attentive and conscientious…..met the new manager, Gia. She is a delight! Super experience…made my day. Thanks everyone!

Our first visit. EXCELLENT food...fresh and interesting and beautiful in the plate/bowl. And what a setting. Integrating the restaurant and adjoining hotel to a century-old abandoned iron works...it...well, works...beautifully! What an inspired concept.

Newly opened restaurant with scenic overlook of the river. Highly anticipated spot with all day cafe and kitchen. Avocado toast, burgers, lamb sausage are just some of the delicious menu options. Recommend giving this place a try if you are in the bala cynwyd, manayunk or east falls areas.
