Very Grateful that this Facility is in the County. My Husband, Great Grandson and Myself experienced the most professional, concerned care ever during our illnesses the last few weeks. Your Quality Care and professional training resulted in Husband getting the quick care he needed with a few days in the hospital. All of Us are recovering nicely, thanks to the Caring Staff at Centra Gretna Medical Center.

I went to the emergency room on November 30th. My experience was awesome I got very sick in the waiting room and a nurse name Lisa really took very good care of me. Took me right to the back and the other nurses Lisa and Lori took over and took really good care of me I can’t think of the doctors name but he was awesome also. When I left I was feeling better thank you all so much. ❤❤❤❤❤

I hate dealing with medical stuff, but the staff is very sweet and friendly. I rarely have any significant delays for my appointments, and the facility is clean and bright. I feel fortunate to have such a great medical center in my small town!

Took my husband here today and had a great experience! All nurses were great as well as the Dr we saw! The wait time was not bad at all and the place seems to be very clean.. will return here for another ED visit if needed and would certainly recommend.

Wait time was about 15 min, they took all the test that needed. By the time we got to see the nurse Geer they had results of test. Nurses was wonderful, caring, thoughtful and really cared about getting my daughter. Oh also offered options on of to treat her. Will continue to go to the Gretna ER.

Sometimes you get good treatment here,other times you don't. This time,I got good treatment, finally got admitted, as I have two severe chronic conditions. The 3rd shift Dr admitted me, I will say his attitude was uncalled for,but the 1st shift doctor who came on, made sure I was comfortable while waiting for transport to LGH, once I got to LGH, I got the BEST treatment!! Dr Cotton was AMAZING! Thank you for all you do. I couldn't have been more impressed.

My visit was an extremely comfortable one!! The nurses, techs and doctors were absolutely wonderful, respectful in caring for me and very knowledgeable of my situation!!!

Thank you to the amazing staff of the Gretna Medical Center. My provider Beatrice McLaughlin, NP, was so kind and figured out what was wrong with me and took all the right steps to save my life. I could never think her enough. The entire staff were so kind, compassionate, and accommodating. I don’t always get the most fair treatment at other healthcare facilities, mainly due to my appearance. But the care team I had at Gretna Medical Center treated we wonderful, and I never felt that I was being judged or having to face biases. I was cared for with the utmost professionalism, and for that I thank you all so much.

Must say everybody from start to finish was five star. Would like to personally thank Tessa who diagnosed my problem and followed with further testing and sound advice. Following up next week with PCP who totally agreed and will continue Tessa’s plan for my medical care. Already feeling better with medication prescribed two days ago. Thank you!

Excellent experience from the time I checked in until I walked out the door. Everyone was very nice and treated me with the utmost care. This was my first time at this ER and I will definitely be back.

I have used the Gretna ER several times since they opened , and I can't say enough about how nice , professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable the entire staff was . They took care of the problem I was having or sent me to a facility that could. I'm very grateful they come to Gretna , they are certainly an asset for Gretna and Pittsylvania county.

They figured out problems that I had that other hospitals didn't even test me for. They have always figured out and treated any problems that I've had.

The staff is very professional and kind. They are very knowledgeable. You won't be sitting there all day to get treated.

Staff was extremely professional and very caring. What I thought was a very busy day with patients was a told it was just a regular day. The on-site Physician and nurse Chauny was very good explaining my diagnosis. Definitely a very respectful staff.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. My son (1 year old) had a pretty big laceration that wouldn’t stop bleeding on his head, from a fall. I was very scared and took him in immediately. The lady at the front, I didn’t catch her name, was super efficient and caring, she got us straight back to a room because they were scared it could be more than just a gash on his head. As soon as we got back to the room the nurse, Jeff, came in to greet us. He was absolutely amazing, by far the best nurse I’ve personally had an encounter with. He played with my son, held him, walked him around to get the supplies ready to stitch up his head, and just really showed that he cared about not only my son but also, me. We had nurse practitioner, Michelle and she was also wonderful, she kept coming back to check on him and play with him as well. When it came time to do the stitches they explained everything a couple of times to make sure I fully understood what was going to have to happen next. We had nurse Jeff, nurse Chancy, and Darlene come in to help hold him down and keep him under control while Michelle and Dr. O’Callaghan places the stitches. They were very thorough to ensure minimal scarring and pain. I have never been through something like this before and he is my only child so I was very nervous and upset and they assured me everything was going to be fine. Their service was extremely professional and kind. I will never take him or myself to any other ER. I felt absolutely comfortable and just in shock at the hospitality. They really did go above and beyond for my boy and it did not go unnoticed. Right before we left another nurse stopped by the room and went out of her way to go get him a stuffed animal to hold on to just to make him feel better. He smiled so big and just hugged it tight. So if you know any of those people personally, hug and thank them for making my terrifying experience just a little less scary. This world is becoming a dark place but there still are kind people and that was proven today. ❤

The team is experienced, highly professional and collaborative. Their thorough initial screening led to a series of effective stretching and exercise regimens to alleviate and eliminate pain. The physical therapists are tightly integrated with their scheduler which makes appointments easy to make and adjust. I highly recommend Centra Gretna Physical Therapy team.

VERY prompt (no waiting), VERY efficient, VERY friendly, VERY polite, VERY knowledgeable, VERY thorough. Oh, and lotsa fun!

I just started therapy last week and was skeptical at first. After my first session, I started to feel a difference. The girls that work at the therapy clinic are so nice and friendly. You can tell they really care.

I cannot express how well the hospital took care of my son after flash burns. Having been on the "other side", working as a nurse in an ED myself, they treated my son EXACTLY how he needed to be treated & took the possibility of complications to heart. His pain was treated appropriately & they made sure that if he had any respiratory problems to let them know immediately. They made sure he was transferred to a tertiary facility who could further care for the burns & possible complications. The doctor took his condition seriously as did all of the staff we came in contact with. The transport team that took care of him was awesome also & made sure he was properly taken care of during transport to the tertiary facility. I am VERY thankful they were there in our time of need.
