This is my first time using Central VA Physical therapy and they haven’t disappointed me in anyway! The front desk ladies, therapists, PT assistants are always happy to see you and very personable. I have been seeing Dr. Sarah Osowski since my ankle injury in October and she has been absolutely amazing. I always feel heard and never rushed about my concerns and/or questions. I honestly believe I wouldn’t have been physically or mentally ready to step back on the ice at only 15 weeks post op if it wasn’t for her. Sarah has exceeded my expectations and has played a major role in my recovery on and off the ice. She literally strives to help get you back to your sport and she will give you a realistic timeline so you have no surprises.

This is my second time using the Center and Andrew Osowski in particular. I consider Andrew and his team to be miracle workers in healing pain. Both times, their diagnosis and exercises have enabled me to leave their care pain free.

Great experience! I saw Andrew after pulling a muscle in my back and exacerbating a chronic injury- he did a fantastic job and now I feel better than my baseline! I noticed improvement after the first session and he gave me at-home exercises that helped me progress in recovery. Great team and convenient location! Highly recommend.

Dr. Linkonis and his team are the best in the business. I have been to a number of P.T. Centers over the last couple years to work on my shoulder. I had lingering discomfort and weakness that negatively impacted my day-to-day.

After only 4 months of therapy with Dr. Linkonis I feel as though I regained the strength and stability in my shoulder which I had lost years prior. I’m very grateful to have found this center, and for the excellent work of Dr. Linkonis. If you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable practice, I would highly recommend the Center For Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine.

This is a wonderful place to go for PT. Everyone from the front staff to the therapy techs are great! Everyone is so happy and friendly! I am seeing Rich due to an injury. He is magnificant! I am a therapist myself and I know a great one when I see one... he is one of the best!
We call him our family therapist because he has treated my dad, brother, stepmother, and myself.

I’ve been going to the Center for PT for a few months now to get to the root of my chronic neck/shoulder pain. It came highly recommended to visit Dr. Rich! There has never been a request too large or too small for him. He is truly a great doctor and provides excellent customer service. Also is equipped to do dry needling which has been extremely helpful in my recovery. Quite frankly, I love the entire staff, as you spend a lot of time with them as well. Ms. Melissa at the front is so fun and personable, and Ms. Patty in billing has made my life so easy and deals with insurance 100% of the time for me. I never have to make a call. The PT assistants are also a joy to be around. Seriously, Highly recommend this place. Look no further!

I had back surgery in 2012 and was struggling post op. Rich Linkonis was recommended for PT and he saved me! I was able to return to work and had a normal life until 2021, when my lumbar spine required a two level fusion. Again, post op was tough and the pain was still there. I knew where to go- back to Rich and my pain level is nearly down to zero.
Everyone in the office, from Melanie and the other folks at the front desk, to the PT assistants, are professional, friendly, and efficient. And of course, Rich Linkonis is the best. I have recommended him several times to friends and colleagues. And oh, by the way, I live 2 hours away from his practice but I knew it was worth the drive. I trusted Rich twice and would do so again!

I had physical therapy at this facility for my foot surgery rehab and my left shoulder injury. I had excellent therapy from all the therapists there but especially, Andrew. He was gentle but really knew how to work my muscles to be so beneficial to my healing. They were very punctual in getting me in on time and took a personal approach to everyone who came in. The receptionists were very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for physical therapy of any kind.

Very pleased with my experiences at center for physical therapy with Dr. Osowski. I'm an avid runner, was running 50-70 miles per week before my ankle injury. Took a year off to try to fix it myself, couldn't do it.

Dr. Osowski is extremely knowledgeable about sports medicine. He set me up with a list of exercises and running schedule which led to me comfortably running again in about a couple months. He is also very easy to reach and responsive through email, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend, especially if you are an athlete.

I came in with a 1 year old meniscus injury that was constantly bothering me but I was also really worried about why it was hurting so much after so long. After receiving physical therapy here, I rarely ever feel any pain! For the days that my knee is acting up a bit, Dr. Andrew has taught me exercises that make it feel better and will help in the long run. The knowledge he had and gave was unlike any other from previous doctors I had seen and it has eased my mind to know that proper physical therapy was all I needed. The staff here is so professional and kind, every visit I had was great. I will recommend physical therapy here to any and everyone!

I am receiving the absolute best care at Center for Physicial Therapy and Sports Medicine! I feel that Dr. Linkonis has my best interest and is really helping me to recover. He is personable and I can see he is really dedicated to his patients. The office staff is extremely helpful and the PT Techs are fantastic! This is the very best PT facility I've been too and the only one from now on.

Richard Linkonis and all of the staff at Hioaks location are wonderful. I sought help after months of pain from a torn rotator cuff and frozen shoulder. The treatment I received was excellent and uncomparable to other physical therapy centers I have been to for other issues. Rich was patient in answering all my questions, he took time to work with me extensively. I never felt like he was rushing me so that he could get to the next patient. The assistants and other therapists that work there are very attentive and very organized. I never had to wait in between exercises to get their attention. They were always spot on with instructing me on what to do next. Most valuable is that I am now pain free and have full use of my shoulder. They are very knowledgeable as well as caring. I can't find enough positive words to say about Rich and his team.

I highly recommend Richard Linkonis because of his dedication to helping patients recover – even from long standing muscular-skeletal issues. When I initially went to Rich in 2015 I was using OTC and prescription drugs to control pain caused by scoliosis, osteoarthritis, multiple compressed vertebrae and severe muscle spasms. Previous Physical Therapists had been unwilling to tackle such complexity. Rich changed my life! With a lot of patience, extensive knowledge and experience Rich has been able to help me achieve comfort, strength and a better life. I still see Rich for his help and I highly recommend him. His personable approach and compassion will exceed your expectations.

Just wanted to weigh in on my recent visit to the Center for P.T, etc. My experience was quite positive in every imaginable way from the professional and administrative staff to the facilities. Every one was quite competent and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks to them the healing on my broken arm/elbow has allowed me to continue playing golf and tennis.

Special thanks to Ariaenne...the therapist who worked directly with me. Also to Rich, Jacob and the new "guys" Heath and Leslie. All are true professionals and every patient seemed to enjoy working with them.

If your position in life mandates a visit to a physical therapist, you should definitely consider this one.

This is the best place to go for Physical therapy.The staff is wonderful,they make u feel so comfortable.U can be sure to get a laugh in while your there.The staff works as a team and the therapist are patient with u even when your not as patient and polite to them.Very professional place and serious about helping u get better. I was very pleased with the service received at Center for Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine! The staff was welcoming, consistent and provided good treatment and feedback to assist with my PT goals! I also appreciated the easy access to 7am appointment times!

I have nothing but good things to say about CPTSM. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I had the pleasure of working with Rich on alleviating lower back tightness and pain that I had been dealing with for almost a year. He was very knowledgeable, attentive, and personable. I came in a little leery of physical therapy but I left a few weeks later feeling 100% better. I highly recommend.

The PT services at this Center are consistently outstanding. I'm getting 'up there,' so in the last 10 years I have needed care from time to time, despite my yoga and good exercise. You can tell a place is well run when the same staff is there year after year, and you are welcomed warmly by people you know and trust. Good PT is both art and science, and I have found myself feeling grateful on a number of occasions when I thought I might just have to live with my ailment--and they proved me wrong! I would never go anywhere else.

I have been seeing Rich Linkonis for a few months now and he is by far the best physical therapist I have ever had! The entire staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming. I love that I can get physical therapy, dry needling and chiropractic adjustments all in one visit with one base rate. I highly suggest checking him out at The Center For Physical Therapy.

Great facility and staff! Everyone there is very knowledgeable and does everything they can to help patients succeed. I have had PT twice before over the years, but this was by far the best experience. I am so grateful for the improvement in physical function that I have been able to achieve during my time at Center for Physical Therapy.
