Pivot PT- Richmond (Scott's Addition)

I’m very pleased with services received here! All staff were kind and helpful. Colin is a bright and competent PT and a good listener (along with being kind and helpful.) He devised an exercise program for arthritis in my knee and, in conjunction with help from my medical team, I’ve returned to walking and hiking activities (my goal.) It’s comforting to know that, if needed in the future, I can return here for services.

Fegan is a great therapist and person. She helped me tremendously with my jaw problem. I am doing much better. The clinic is a warm environment and all the workers are great.

I injured my back doing a landscaping project at my home. The pain became so intense I was unable to stand or walk. My spine Dr. prescribed PT and I went to Pivot in Scott's Addition where I've been treated by Colin Pietryk. I was amazed at how fast Colin was able to treat the injury and get me back to being able to work on my project. I've been in PT many times before for injuries and joint replacements. Colin is among the best physical therapists I've ever worked with . I recommend him without reservations.

The entire staff at Pivot Scott's Addition is fantastic. I've been a patient of Bruce Brewer's many times for a variety of injuries and surgeries dating all the way back to 1995. He's top-notch! I drive past MANY clinics on my 40 minute commute to Pivot, but I won't go to anyone else and it's well worth the drive. Keep up the great work!

Great place to take physical therapy. This location was highly recommended by my daughter, who also take PT there.The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, especially Bruce. He knows his stuff. The entire staff is always a welcoming of fresh air in the morning. If you're looking for great a place where the staffs treat you like family I highly recommend the Scott Addition location, you would not be disappoint.

Bruce Brewer and his staff are amazing! They are the most caring, knowledgeable, kind and attentive medical personnel that I have had the pleasure of working with. They thoroughly evaluate you and explain their findings and then work with you to alleviate your symptoms. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy services. If I could give them 10 stars, I certainly would. I actually enjoy my time spent at Pivot Physical Therapy in Scott's Addition! Thanks to Bruce and his staff for making me feel better both mentally and physically!

I am currently receiving post operative physical therapy on my shoulder at The Scotts Addition location of Pivot Physical Therapy. The staff is great and fun to work with and Bruce is fantastic. After doing an evaluation he came up with exercises and tasks for me to perform, made sure I was doing them correctly and then allowed me to do them at my own pace. Each visit he adds something else to continue to challenge me and help me regain my strength and range of motion.They don't hover over me or make me feel rushed to finish and get out the door. Someone is always available to answer questions, insure I am doing the exercises correctly, and offer encouragement.
I highly recommend them for anyone that has a need for physical therapy of any kind.

I’ve had a great experience at Pivot PT - Scott’s Addition. My therapist, Bruce, takes time to listen to my needs and adjusts the treatment plan accordingly. He has been immensely helpful! All of the employees are efficient and pleasant, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and scheduling appointments is easy. I would highly recommend this location for PT services.

I've been so pleased with Pivot & my PT Bruce. He has taken time to really address my chronic neck/shoulder pain issue with a variety of therapies. I really appreciate that we work on immediate, near & long term relief through strengthening, dry needling and other therapies. The combination has truly relieved much discomfort and given me the ability to do more, exercise, sleep better, etc. It's a great facility and the entire staff is helpful & friendly. Great location too.

I found the physical therapy program here to be excellent. They were always ready for my arrival, and my regime increased in difficulty as I recovered from my problem.

I never had a problem accessing the equipment. Adam Tanner and the others on the staff were more than willing to answer my questions, or explain what we were doing. The care was rendered in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

I recommend Pivot.

Scheduling was easy, every member of the staff is personable and kind. The therapists are thorough and focused on my needs. I cannot imagine needing anything more. I watch them cleaning equipment after each user. There are pump bottles of sanitizer all around the main room. My knee is much better (torn meniscus) and continues to improve. This is my second round with Bruce Brewer. I saw him for a back problem about 3 years ago, when he was at the Patterson/Libbie office. He did a great job then as well.

Pivot in Scot's Addition is a great resource for physical therapy. Staff is friendly and very competent. Therapists helped me with hands on treatments and instruction. I can truly say I feel much better now.

I am going to PT for hip and lower back discomfort. Ana Lim is my therapist. She is very helpful. Each time I go to see her, I leave feeling better. With her good guidance my hip and lower back are gradually healing. I highly recommend her.

Everyone is welcoming & makes you feel comfortable when addressing your issue. My therapist, Bruce, identifies the problem & recommends a solid plan to rectify it. Always very concerned about the progress you are making & your general well being......A++!

I first came to Pivot in 2017 after receiving a new right knee. It's now 2021 and I'm back for treatment for my scoliosis and lower back issues. Back then, and now, my therapy treatments with Bruce Brewer have been nothing short of exceptional-- and I say exceptional in the sense of my care at the personal level, and the overall results at the end of my therapy! P.T. is not something you look forward to going back to, but when, and if, I need p.t.again my choice will be Pivot's Scott's Addition, RVA location! A special shout out to Bruce's patient coordinator Christian O.-- he was able to pay close attention to me personally while coordinating, and checking in on the other patients as well !

I have been a patient of Pivot FT for a few years now. I live an active life and I have to say prone to accidents. Pivot with it’s bright, clean and roomy facility is my go to place for getting my therapy. My therapist, Bruce, is a vey professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring individual who does everything he can to get me back to my active lifestyle. My wife and sister have also been treated here. Wonderful people and highly recommended.

Pivot wasn’t the first physical therapy department I went to but it was the last. Bruce is great! During my initial evaluation he listened to my pain complaints and built a doable treatment program around them. And it’s working! Everyone at Pivot is professional. I highly recommend Pivot!

I am returning again to Pivot for lower back issues that reoccur sporadically. The people here are very professional and caring and have a genuine need to help those in pain. Bruce is a fantastic therapist that has extensive knowledge and a kind sense of humor. I can’t recommend them enough. They need a sixth star.

Everybody at Pivot is so helpful and kind, and very dedicated to getting you healthy again! I came in with a complicated mess of symptoms, my therapist Fegan really took the time to get to know what was going on and made a personalized plan to address all of it. I would definitely recommend this practice to anybody who needs PT!
