Lil' Snippers Hair Care 4 Kids - Fisher's Landing

Just got my two-year-olds hair cut here and wow! This place is neat! They have little cars for the munchkins to sit and play in while they cut their hair with movable steering wheel and buttons that light things up. They have a little tv screen that they can play almost anything your little one likes. We made an appointment so we were seen right away.
They have a really neat waiting area with lots of toys if you have to wait tho. My lil guy got a first haircut certificate and it's beyond adorable!
So glad we came here for his first! Will definitely be coming again!

I love them. Have been coming here with my daughter for the last 2 years, and they always do a good job!

We brought our 11 month old baby who needed a haircut and the staff was patient and understanding when he wasn't happy with the entire process. Kudos to the staff for putting up with a crying baby!

My daughters first time coming in and the unfortunately the first lady she was paired with was not a match for us… her attitude and tone were unfriendly and as if she did not want to be there. I noticed the other gal who had just gotten done and was so friendly and great with the kids, I asked if we could wait for her instead and so happy I did! She did amazing! Exactly what we wanted. Her name is Kim and we will definitely be back and schedule with her from now!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The kids loved it. Not busy at all at 2pm on Saturday.

They were great with my daughter for her very first haircut! She loved it there and didn't want to leave!

This is definitely my go place for my kid's haircut. My oldest loves this place, but my youngest one is very difficult, he is very sensitive around his and face and head but Kim "magic hands" make it work. I am so thankful for this place and specially for Kim, she is always very patient and sweet. Just heads up. It's always better to contact them via messenger in facebook, they may not replay right away because they are busy taking care of other kids, but they get back to you asap.

My 5 year old loves going here. Today we saw a very nice young lady named Cami. She was so sweet and she did a great job on my son’s hair. Plus, she was super fast! If you are looking for a good place for your kid’s haircut (especially for young kids and toddlers), I can’t recommend this place enough. We took both our kids here for their first haircuts and they give a little certificate with a tiny baggie of hair as a keepsake. With the toys and playhouse they have, the atmosphere really is fun for kids and makes their experience so much more enjoyable.

First hair cut for my daughter. The staff were very friendly and made her comfortable. They had fun cars for the kids to "drive" while getting hair cut, movies and a play area for other kids while waiting. The hair stylist even hid the scissors from her so she wouldn't be scared. Great cut and my daughter got a certificate with first snip of hair to take home. So pleased with the service! Definitely recommend to others.

Took my daughter here for her first hair cut. Kim was amazing, especially being that my daughter was a pretty hard and distracted client. I don’t think anyone could have handled her better! She was so patient, kind, and great with children.

It’s a 30 minute drive for us but so worth it. She was able to fix a bad bang trim that I had given my daughter and also able to even out the mullet her hair had grown into.

I recommend her and this salon 100 percent!

Edit after multiple visits:
**With the recent changes, the only vehicles that are motorized are the 2 pink Jeeps, which was mildly disappointing for my son who raves about the cars when I mention a haircut.**
The wait time and appointment scheduling is very reasonable during non-peak times (I consider peak times to be Back to School and nearing holidays) though plan ahead for peak times. The stylists are kid-friendly and eager to work with your requests. I recommend Doreen (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) because she gave me feedback based on my haircut request and how it would work with my son's cowlick!

When we first visited, the wait was going to be 2 1/2 hours so we made an appointment for the following week instead. We had Haley as our stylist and she did great! My 18 month old son got to watch his favorite show (which kept him occupied for about a minute) and then he got squirmy. He's never had a haircut before but Haley was ever the professional and kept flowing with his movements and his haircut only lasted about 15 minutes!
I love the results! She asked what we were looking for and she got it right, which was my number one worry ☺

Had a really bad experience here two years ago, but decided to give them another go. I'm so glad I did! Courtney is amazing! She was so good with my little dude and cut his hair exactly how I wanted it. Will definitely be going back and definitely asking for her 😊

We have been to a few kid's haircut places in Portland and Vancouver and we have had our best experiences here.

The staff is extremely capable at both working with the kids while cutting hair as well as providing them with very good haircuts. I have found that you usually get one or the other at these places.

We have been here several times and I will continue to take my kids here. They like getting their hair cut. It is fun.

Oh, and call ahead and make an appointment. I don't recommend doing a walk-in. They do have a great waiting area with some toys and a play house. I wouldn't count on it for more than 10-15 minutes for most kiddos. It is great for younger siblings waiting for an older sibling haircut, though.

Lil' Snippers is absolutely top notch in my opinion. I drove over an hour to bring my son to a salon for children where he would hopefully have not only a good experience, but a good hair cut as well. We got all of that and then some! The specific day we went in, they were short staffed since one of the stylists was sick. Despite being very busy and down one stylist, we were still squeezed in and with wait and total hair cut time were there maybe 30 minutes!!! Holly was the stylist who cut my sons hair. My son is two and absolutely hates his hair cut or messed with. She talked to my son through the entire cut and also let him touch the tools so he wouldn't be afraid. With several suckers, a super cool fire truck chair to sit in, some Paw Patrol, and one patient and QUICK stylist, he got a wonderful hair cut! We won't go anywhere else! Thank you so much, Lil' Snippers! I will recommend you all to anyone with children. Oh, and I was very impressed by the clean environment and how on top of wiping down the toys the receptionist was. Five stars all the way!!!

First time being our son in. I feel bad for not remembering her name, the the hair dresser there was absolutely fantastic! She listened to our request, as well as our son, who has very curly hair. He wanted to sit in the pink Jeep, which wasn't a problem. She was done in less than 10 minutes, his hair wasn't too short, she took just the right amount off(which I worried about given his curls). Loved the experience, will definitely go back when our son needs another cut!

This place was insanely awesome. My boy is just 2, and pretty wiggly - we were in and out for his first hair cut in 20 minutes. The woman who cut his hair was able to do it very well, able to follow his head around seemingly without effort. They let him pick the car he got to sit in, played a movie to hold his attention, blew bubbles before starting to make him feel comfortable. And she saved a snip of his hair for his certificate and baby book. All for only $18!! This place was awesome - I highly recommend it.

We love this place! Our son has had so many hair cuts in his short two years, and we have never had such an amazing experience! We had begun just having it shaved because it was easier.....but they were able to cut his hair without him freaking out and screaming! It was amazing!

I've now brought two kids here for the their first cuts been thrilled. 2 different situations around 6 years apart. Most recently was for my 2 year old who has curls I am in love with but he needed cleaned up. The hair dresser listened to me, didn't over due the cut and I was left with a kiddo who could see and still has beautiful curls.

We showed up 20 minutes early and were seen about 10 minutes later. My 5 & 6 year old girls got the Princess Package & loved it. One got a trim and the other one wanted 12" taken off. We donated the hair to Locks of Love. Little Snippers dealt with the donation for us. Super easy! The nail painting was great as well. My girls loved being able to watch a movie and sit in a toy car. The wheels even spin and all the sounds work! The stylists finished up with some glitter hairspray and my girls really felt like princesses! Oh and they got to pick a lollipop or sticker when we left.

They also keep the place very clean and were wiping toys down after kiddos played with them.

Overall great place. We will be going back!
