The Hunter Arms Hotel

Located right in downtown St. Cloud, this charming little hotel pleasantly surprised me. Despite its age, the rooms are well-maintained, clean, and surprisingly spacious. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the convenience of 24/7 coffee on the second floor is a nice touch. My only minor complaint is that the toilet is positioned uncomfortably close to the vanity for room 220 that we stayed. Overall, it's a great hotel, and I'm already looking forward to returning next year.

The only reason for a 4 on room is the bathroom was way too small, no room for your clothes after the shower. Sink, toilet, and tub so close left hardly any space to turn around. No vent in the bathroom or area to fix your hair.

The service was "excellent," and the room was cleaned every day.

Very quaint area and a lot of history to see. It was great.

We did enjoy our stay overall.

We stayed 3 days at your hotel. On day 1, we had a problem with no hot water in the shower.
We asked you to do something and you did well : you changed our room and we were happy with that.
For a reason we don't understand, you sent us a refund for the whole journey. That's more than honest and we feel a bit guilty.
You deserve 5 stars...

Fantastic historic hotel in the middle of shopping distric. Amazed when first walked in front door.. Rooms were very clean and comfy beds.and there is always fresh water and coffee available 24/7 on the same 2nd floor as the rooms.. the only thing they need is better internet for the tv's.. had to watch on phone because tv kept freezing up. Hopefully they get it fixed.
Would have loved to stay longer then one night to explore town. Did find an awesome tavern across the street which was a definet plus....

Honestly love the location, as it’s located within walking distance to many food spots. Service and rooms are decent in the hotel, so nothing to complain about especially with their prices.

This place is more than I was expecting as I usually stain at big chains and the only hotel that was available near by was this one. It’s beautiful and in an old Americana style, room was clean (it look old but we’ll furnished and no funny smells) overall it was a great stay

I recently found myself with a need for housing after living in the St. Cloud area for 10 years. No rental homes were available yet because this place is growing fast!
I have stayed here at the Hunter Arms one full week, and it's been a very comfortable stay. I'll be back for another 10 days after a short beach weekend, only about 50 miles to the east in Coco Beach.
This building was built in 1926, so obviously, it's a very old building but fairly well updated. As good a possible. The beds are comfortable, the linens are nice, showers are hot, and they have a refrigerator in rooms, nice TVs. There are multiple great restaurants and bars in walking distance, not to mention that quaint little downtown St. Cloud has lots of boutiques and shops to explore. I've been cooking on the grills at the lakeshore park located about a mile north for fun. Beautiful park. Also, this place is not too far from Orlando and surrounding attractions.
Overall, the hotel is pretty cool. I absolutely love the wonderful managers and staff! I am greeted with every passing and feel very welcome here. The cost has been reasonable and meets my budget for an easy place, not too expensive to hold over at. I've loved the architecture of the hotel and the ease of getting around town. I am looking forward to my stay next week and any future trips to St Cloud!

Very cute older motel updated with character. I needed to stay in St. Cloud for a funeral and this motel was perfect location. Great Coffee store next door and food & drinks on other side. Excellent staff at front desk. I will stay again, just wish pillows where a better.

I loved my stay at Hunter Arms Hotel. Naomi is the manager and she is amazing- so hospitable and professional. I love the way she is transforming this historical hotel into such a charming, welcoming place and all the new decor is so beautiful!
In addition, her staff is great and really helpful.
The bed was super comfy and the room was very clean. I look forward to staying here again soon!

We stayed in the King Suite for a wonderful Valentines Day date night (we live nearby). It has a sunroom! Comfortable king size bed, spotlessly clean room and fresh linens at a surprisingly low price. It was perfect. Hot water came on instantly, heating worked great for the cold snap weather. It reminded us of the Suites at Fisherman’s Wharf, another updated century-old hotel with a tiny elevator, but our room at Hunter Arms was more charming with a California Gold Country feel to the decor.

Great place to stay during the monthly Market Days in historic St. Cloud when it’s full of tourists.

The hotel is quaint with very helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms are suited to a place that was built a 100 years ago. That’s the beauty and charm. A very different experience from the regular chain of hotels.
Naomi and her staff make the stay a wonderful experience. Katrina rocks.

I booked this place for 3 weeks. To be honest, I did not know what to expect. Let me tell you, this place is a real gem. Super clean, safe, quiet and awesome staff, Naomi General Manager and Catrina the reception have been amazing! They do everything to make your experience up to your expectations. Great bistro and restaurant just next door. It's a repeat 100%.

Very pleasant stay and great location in downtown St. Cloud! Two of the staff employees, Naomi and Denise, really stood out as extra helpful and accommodating. Allowed us to move to a better room and answered all our questions with a positive attitude. There was another friendly gentleman, didn’t get his name, who was also very nice to help us with our TV). The place is old and 2-3 star but it’s an historic landmark! So if staying here, expect that some things will look worn, but I think that’s what gives it “character!” Our king room was a newly renovated room with SUPER comfy king bed and a nice work space with a desk and coffee maker, huge closet with shelves and hangers and very large wall-mounted flatscreen TV! The bathroom was clean and well equipped with towels and amenities. Plus AC in room with ceiling fan for comfort. The stay was very comfortable! And no street noise. It was surprisingly very quiet. It was a good value for the money at Hunter Arms! I’d stay again for sure!

Nothing luxurious but bed was comfy and the service is phenomenal. I left a pair of shoes behind and they went through everything and found them a week later. They proactively called me to let me know and are shipping them back to me on their dime. Definition of going above and beyond!

Quaint and Rustic! That’s how I will describe this hotel. It’s very affordable and budget so you get a roof over your head, bed and shower. It was exactly what I was looking for.

No frills and won’t break the bank, such that one can rest for the night before continuing on your journey. I enjoyed the small town feel of historic downtown St Cloud too. Reminds me of Oregon Trail if it took place in Central FL.

I truly love this lodging its a secret diamond. Its been around so long and has a lot of appeal. I love the vibe of this spot, its in a particularly delightful area. I will be back for another stay. Storage room is exceptionally roomy, washroom is great and it fills its need I had no bad things to say. Additionally has a work area and seat, a decent workspace if your here on school or work . It additionally has a small scale ice chest, a microwave and an espresso pot. I booked the lord suite I'm extremely blissful.

I really love this hotel its a hidden gem. It is very old but has so much charm. I love the feel of this place, its in such a beautiful location. I will definitely be back for another stay. Closet is very spacious, bathroom is tiny but it serves its purpose i had no complaints. Also has a desk and chair, a nice work area if your here on business. It also has a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee pot. I booked the king suite I'm very happy.

Stayed one week — interesting stay, comfortable, friendly and professional staff knew me by first name. Safe location; city hall and satellite police station within one block. Located in historical downtown Saint Cloud; restaurants, bars, family owned and operated deli, VFW, coffee shops and an ice cream shop all located within two town blocks. Easy to park.
