Lake Okahumpka Park

Beautiful lake, full of wildlife. It has a very nice boat ramp with two docks to tie up to. Lots of parking for both cars and boat trailers.

This place gets a 11 out of 10 for rating. We had the beat experience here. This park had everything. I mean from a boat ramp, to a picnic area, to a tennis court, to the trail. It had everything you need for a day out with your family. The trails had a little stop along the way for workout stations too. We took the shorter trail and then ended up walking the longer route too. You can walk anywhere from .3 miles to 1.25 here. There was a lot of Nature and we went It was littlely rainy so that made it so much more picturesque. We loved the whole trip to this park. There was a spot for your pets. This is so convenient and close enough to the town too. Please please please check this place out. It's wonderful here.

Lake Okahumpka Park is absolutely beautiful. Hands down the nicest park we have been to since arriving in Florida. They have a playground for kids, plenty of trails for hikers with some exercises on the trails, a boat launch. They are open from dusk til dawn. I would highly reccomend stopping here if you are on 44.

Love this little park. Paved walkways, nice boat ramp, beautiful picnic areas, handicap bathrooms. This is a very well maintained county park here in Wildwood Florida. Didn't see any Gators today.
Another great place to stop and stretch the legs. And enjoy the cool breezes that come off Lake Okahumpka. Great place to take a hike around the property. A beautiful boardwalk that overlooks the peserve covered in fresh lilies ready to bloom. The hiking trails have World gym stops throughout. Showing you different levels of fitness. As you walk through the shaded park area. Big beautiful oak trees draped in Moss. Quite a breathtaking county park

This park has awesome exercise trails! Every 100 yards or so there is an exercise station with equipment. It is a beautifully managed green space. Canoe rental, 2 volley ball courts, and 9 hole disc golf. This is WAY nicer than Greenways in Nashville TN. Kudos to the Sumpter Co. Parks Dept!

Nice clean park and it has a nice big playground with lots of different kinds of swings/ladders/slides etc. for the kids! Its real easy to get around once your inside the park. If you like walking and bike riding theyve got plenty of paved paths and also unpaved paths! They also have a frisbee course and assorted pavilions with picnic tables and areas for grilling! So if you want to have a good time the park has activities for everybody!RR

Nice clean place for a walk. Clean bathrooms. They also have a small park for kids, an area for dogs and a sand volleyball court. Also disc golf course I think 9 holes.

Me and the kids love this place, quieter than most playgrounds and super chill walking paths with excercise stations. Frisbee golf, boat ramp, canoe rentals, horseshoe and cornhole area, small dog play area, volleyball, covered picnic area with tables and primitive camping by reservation, which i still wanna do there one night! Oh wow, actually more than i originally thought there. Nice!

As we live down the street from the park we come very often. Grandchildren love the exercise stations. Garbage cans are many as well as dog waist cans. Please use them so it stays nice here.

Beautiful walking paths with 70% covered in shade from mature wooded area. The kids playground is very well maintained and appropriate for all ages.

We loved riding our bikes around the trails! The trees with the Spanish moss were so beautiful!

Nice park with trails, pond full of lily pads and a lake with canoe rentals.

Very nice place for a group picnic, but get there early to reserve your spot! If going to grill, bring a wire brush to clean off the grill .

Three paved walking paths: lengths .3 miles, .6 miles and 1.2 miles a beautiful nature area. Nice place to walk your dog.

A beautiful place for quite time or exercise, fish,canoeing, volleyball, dog park and off road bike trail , and can't forget the playground area is so clean and well maintained.

Paved walking trails, longest loop of 3 is about a mile. Clean restroom facilities, plenty of covered tables for picnics and a couple pavilions for larger events.
