Hyatt Regency Sarasota

What can I add, other than what the name Hyatt has come to mean over many drcades in hospitality? From the moment we drove up, there was ALWAYS staff RIGHT there to handle our needs even before we made a request. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful marina and the equally modern, impressive, and even a bit artistic skyline.

If I were to share any disappointment, it would be the portions served at the house restaurant. I expect to pay more for a meal in such a 4-star hotel, but I shouldn't still be hungry after eating pasta. 😏 I must add the quality of food was quite good, but based on my experience, I probably wouldn't go back next time.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Nicely appointed room. The restaurant was decent. Fun bar tender. Great pool area with kayaking and paddle boarding. Nice park across the street with a beach. Easy self parking.Highly recommend.

I was here for a conference and the place was clean and the staff was extremely helpful. The food was also delicious. for the size of the group I was shocked by the staffs attention to detail and ability to move effortlessly around the venue. I hope to attend more conferences at this location and hopefully will have the chance to stay. Also the valet was extremely efficient given the size of the group. Once again I was pleasantly surprised.

Me and my friend stayed here for a few days and we were very impressed. The service was amazing, the people were friendly and the rooms were clean and we had the most amazing view from our room. Thank you we will be back :)

We had a great time here! We wanted a hotel with a pool bar and this place delivered. The food and drinks were great. It was also walkable and easy to catch an Uber everywhere we wanted to go! There were free amenities offered that we didn’t even get a chance to take advantage of. We’d definitely return.

The place the staff the rooms everything was phenomenal. We stayed for new years and stayed for a week we ended up extending our trip. 1 of the best hotels we have stayed at. Yes there is parking and resort fee just like most places. Is the place outdated not really does it have USB plugs on bed side no does it have fridge coffee tvs balcony comfy beds Yes yes yes

Great resort! Across from. THE Bay- a public park with outdoor art, playgrounds, kayaking, great little food bar, bicycle paths, walking path through mangroves. Pool, hot tub, free kayaks, SUP, pedalboats.

I first want to give a shout out to Joshua Statton, the Valet service out front he was always cheerful and helpfull ensuring my husbands safty in and out of vehicle. He went above and beyond expectations and made our stay extra enjoyable!!

Our room was Very nice our handicap room 719 was excellent, spacious and directly across from elevator #1 and the balcony view looked across marina with other views.

The staff was friendly, hotel was clean and neat. The pool is very nice and curvey, jacuzzi and a great waterfall that is also nice to listen to if u have Marina side balcony. Free kayak rental included but no free lobby coffee, but coffee can be made in your room.

Overall I loved it and will return next visit. It is off set from main road and m so less traffic and less noise. A large park with walking paths is across the street from the entrance. I have some photos to post, but not seeing where to add?

We had a memorial service for my husband and they gave us a special price for a block of rooms. I highly recommend Susan Lojocono a sales manager who went way out of her way to deal with any problems we had and was even there on her day off to make sure everything was perfect. We also had the dinner afterwards. The food was amazing and the service from Ali and Joanne was perfect, the room was beautiful and the tables set up perfectly. I highly recommend having any weddings or parties there. It was perfect.

Nice hotel with a great pool in a super convenient location! The hotel was exceptionally clean. We had a beautiful view of the bay from our room and balcony. I can’t say enough kind things about the staff at this Hyatt Regency. Marie at the front desk was so accommodating and helpful. She truly went above and beyond in providing customer care. Carmel who was tending bar at the Poolside bar did an amazing job at providing fast and friendly service, even while she was very busy. We truly appreciate the genuine service, assistance, and overall kindness provided by the hotel staff during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Great location right in downtown with a lot of places to walk to. The room was nice but the queen size beds were definitely smaller than that, maybe a full size instead.

what an amazing experience from the moment we walked in. Alex & Marie were outstanding, they made us feel welcome and we enjoyed our interaction with them while checking in. the hotel is beautiful and the vibe is definately Beach side. we loved the pool, what an amazing setup, we made sure to visit everyday. the rooms can use a bit of TLC but we can tell renovations were taking place behind the scenes to try not to disrupt the visitors. I will be staying here the next time we visit Sarasota.

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay here for an extended weekend and we loved our experience here. They have great amenities and service. We ate breakfast at the restaurant every morning and good food and great service. We had a little hiccup in our breakfast order one morning but they were very apologetic and attentive and treated us so well. The room was clean and we had a beautiful view of the marina. We even saw dolphins swimming in the marina. The pool was wonderful and the grounds were immaculate. We would definitely stay here again.

Spent the weekend due to a business meeting. Hotel is a bit older and starting to show somewhere but very clean and the staff was over and above excellent location cannot be beat.

We shared two of the busiest days of the year, and loved every second we were here! We stayed July 3rd and 4th for my birthday mini vacation in Sarasota. I was impressed with the room, the view, the food, the staff and the cleanliness... We shared a lot of time at the pool mainly, and had cocktails and lunch in the pool area. After having meals in the dining room, we relaxed in our room and enjoyed the view of Sarasota Bay from the balcony. I felt so welcome and comfortable, I could have stayed the whole month... I'm normally hard to please, but I was truly impressed. I'm Bruno of Venice.

Location was excellent.
Rooms typical for the area. Paid extra for "private balcony" not so private when you can see your neighbor. But atleast we had a balcony. Pillow cases had stains but no big deal, replaced when asked. Hair dryer was actually a good one. Robes added a nice touch.
Amenities were great. We utilized the inside bar and never waited too long to get served. The pool was nice and the waterfall added a nice touch.

We purchased a day pass to hang out at the pool. It's large with zero-entry and the opposite end has a overpass with a waterfall. Behind it is a hot tub. Plenty of lawn chairs and umbrellas. A bar you can order drinks and food. Included in the pass was towel service.

Great location and clean rooms are always a must for us. But the staff can make or break an experience, and I must say that Leigh Marks at the front desk was friendly and had the most fun personality! She made our stay even better! My husband and I stay at many hotels and typically all are luxury, but this has to be the first time where I purposely went to say goodbye to a front desk person ever in my life! I was sad that Leigh had already left before I had a chance to say goodbye, lol. All in all it was a pleasant hotel with great staff! Will return again! Ps I gave the room a 3 star only because the patio deck could have been better.
