Adams Cabin Trail

This is a truly beautiful hike! When you first start out be prepared to have to do a lot of steep uphill. After about a half a mile or so it starts to level off, still going up but not nearly as bad, and the views you get are amazing! Signs of wildlife everywhere, I did it when there was still snow around but tracks were all around. Highly recommend this hike but it’s not for people just starting out!

It's a great hike, but probably on the upper end of moderate. It's a bit lengthy if you are expecting it to be similar at all to the waterfall trail.

The trail to Adams Cabin is steep, difficult and overgrown in many areas. But the views of the valley as you climb are amazing. The cabin itself isn’t very noteworthy, but it’s a great hike along the way. In several sections the underbrush encroaches on the trail and thrashes your lower legs. So wear long pants or be ready for some scratches. The cabin is about halfway up the mountain to Thurston Peak, the highest point in Davis County.

A cool stop on your way to the Great Western Trail. The trail is a bit overgrown, but nothing too serious.
