Ochsner Health Center - Zachary

I did not have to wait at all. Alisha, her nurse, the receptionist and the lady in the lab were all very pleasant and professional. I am a very hard stick!! Usually leave feeling like a pin cushion. The lady that drew my blood took ONE stick!! She is the best I’ve ever seen!! No pain at all. This was my 1st visit with these wonderful ladies . It won’t be my last!!

I’m an Ochsner system lifelong member, but recently had my very first visit at the Zachary location. While I didn’t have any expectations before going, I certainly didn’t predict how professional and cordial the staff would be. I definitely recommend this smaller setting to anyone continuing care or establishing care! Thanks to everyone who made my first visit feel so special and welcoming❤

I had an early AM appointment for an Annual Check Up. I was greeted immediately upon my entrance through the front door. My check-in was very Courteous and Thorough. Every document signed was explained. No long waiting. The Nurse was very Courteous and thorough with reviewing and documenting my medical history. Dr. Lewis was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. She was very very thorough and reviewed my medical history likewise. She provided additional new medical information that I would not have been aware of for women. My annual clinical Pap smear procedure went very smooth and Dr. Lewis explains very thoroughly. I was very Pleased with the thoroughness. I exited the facility one hour and fifteen minutes from my arrival time.

Called for video appointment with Ochsner early on the morningof Feb. 28, 2022. I was scheduled for a video conference call from Alisha Thomas, NP at 7:45 AM from Ochsner Clinic in Zachary. It was nice speaking with Alisha about my flu like symptoms. She took very good care of my concerns and resolved my issues. I'm feeling much better as of today, March 2, 2022 and really do appreciate her thoughtfulness and evaluation. I would recommend her to anyone needing clinical assistance. I love the healthcare team here! They are always fast and efficient. They are very thorough with the care they give. I visit this office once a week since I am receiving medical treatment for my second pregnancy. I have seen a two of the providers here and they are both friendly, well educated, and courteous .They always have your best interest in mind. Highly recommend using them for obstetrics and gynecology.

I have had great experiences with the very friendly and helpful staff at the Zachary clinic. Dr Nyirenda is AMAZING!! She is mine and my husbands new primary care provider and we both love her!

This was my first time visiting Doctor Alisha N Thomas , NP. and she was very nice, she listened and answered all my questions in concerns! She really care about her patient’s well-being.

Dr. Lewis is amazing! She is patient, kind and thorough. She has been my doctor for 10 years. From reading comments about her Ochsner's website a person may misunderstand her personality as rude. She is not rude at all, however, she can be abrupt because she has so many patients to see. If she was long winded with every patient we would began to complain about wait times. Help hint.. have questions ready or email her.

Dr. Ortiz is one of the best Pediatricians I know. She takes excellent care of my son. Just like he was her own. I live in Addis,LA and drive to Zachary, LA. just for a visit. When ever I call or message she responds in a timely manner. I love Dr. Ortiz

Dr. Brignac is a wonderful doctor. She is thorough in her exam, is very knowledgeable about medications and vaccines, and has an amazing bedside manner. She deserves an award for being the most amazing doctor I've seen yet. Her nurse is also extremely thorough and friendly. She demonstrated proper sanitization and hand washing, and was thorough about my medical history and medications. I am very pleased and will continue seeing Dr. Brignac for all of my healthcare needs.

My visit was very productive. Dr. Naqvi is concerned about the whole person’s physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. That’s what I Ike about being under his care. He addresses whatever concerns that is expressed to him. Since I’ve been under his care I have noticed a change in my overall health. Thanks. Hope he sticks around for a long time.

I have been going to Dr. Lydia Lewis for years, I’ve referred most the females in my family she’s their OGBYN as well. It’s always a excellent service, very professional, very attentive with her patients I recommend her to anyone.

Friendly people. Receptionist, Nurses and Doctors were wonderful. Dr Nyirenda was very nice and helpful. Alisha Thomas NP was very nice and helpful also.

Dr Naqvi's one of the best physicians I've met this far. He's very professional and personable. Dr. Naqvi really takes his time, listens to your concern and makes sure to address each issue and offer follow up care, if needed. I'll definitely continue to visit Dr. Naqvi when needed.

Dr. Naqvi is compassionate and engaged. He reviewed existing diagnosis, did his own thorough exam and after 10+ years of seeking advice, he addressed my main concern. . . diet. His approach to medicine is exactly what I'm looking for: Integrative Medicine. His knowledge across various fields of medicine allow for input you may not find with other primary care/internal medicine doctors. His desire to stay engaged in emerging research, ancient/alternative treatments/medicine and the best approach/application of western treatments/medicine are a gift and blessing to patients.

I love all my Ochsner facilities! They have exhibit the best professional, friendly, patient healthcare to me, my family & our friends. Continue...Latest Trainings are a plus. Well done!! Always a pleasure to have a visit with Dr. Lewis but this time, I saw her nurse practioner and she was absolutely wonderful!

They actually did call me when they had a cancellation to see if I was interested in an earlier appt.
The wait time in the lobby and in the room was merely minutes.
Everyone was very polite.
