Barefoot BBQ

We were tired of being disappointed by the “top rated” restaurants around here and decided to try something we hadn’t heard of yet. The smoked chicken salad was a knock-out and the BBQ nachos were awesome. Not to mention the owner is so friendly, happy to offer suggestions, and added little touches that make it that much more special. Skip The Meltdown truck and come here.

It's a BBQ truck near at Central Square in Seaside. Guy makes the best frozen Pina colada. I thought it would be out of a machine when I ordered.... Nope. Made it right there in front of me at the window. Hit the spot. Had the smoked tuna sandwich. It was good, just know there are large chunks of tuna in the tuna salad. Husband had the BBQ during a different trip and he proclaimed this the best food truck in the row.

I’ll tell ya right now, this is the best spot you’ll find bbq and consistent “fast” food in the area. Plenty of options for kids, adults, and whoever. Murphy is THE MAN! Don’t know what to get? What to drink? Just ask him, he will tell you and be spot on. You’ll be drooling from the fresh smoked bbq before you even get your plate. That first bite to the last is heaven. Talk about tenderness, flavor, and being unique! This is a MUST on every vacation you come on here. ALSO don’t forget to try the Bushwhacker (bonus points if you can tell Murphy where it originated).

Food was top notch too (pork BBQ with sides) but experiencing the location and Murphy made it extra special.
This was a random visit so it came as a surprise to be recognized by my name.

YUM! This was our first time eating here. The Sweet Tea was amazing. Thought it was a cute touch that the numbers they give you were flip flops. They also had doggie water bowls in front of the truck. Not sure what was in the Baked Beans, but they were my favorite!! A little spicy but had tons of flavor. They also had a fun card game in their napkin holders on the table. Something a little different than just eating dinner!

Most reasonably priced & best-tasting BBQ in the area!

I called in and placed my order for takeout. They were very friendly (both on the phone and in person) and my order was ready exactly when they said it would be.

The meat on both the pulled Chicken and Beef Brisket Sandwiches we got was tender and juicy - no part of our orders was dry. The Mac & Cheese was excellent and although the Baked Beans were a bit spicy to me, the bits of meat included within it still made it quite good.

The price paid for a sandwich platter is the best around, especially considering the amount of food and number of sides included. In fact, other members of our family went a few days later because they kept wanting to eat our meals themselves!

We had Barefoot BBQ cater our 1st night dinner for 25 people! The food and support were amazing!

I don’t leave reviews very often if ever. I wish I would have known about the quality and craftsmanship of this place from day one of our trip. The people working were very friendly and polite. Service was quick and painless and they give you a cool flip flop with a number on it while you’re waiting and I thought that was a unique island vibe.

I got the St. Louis style half rack platter with Mac and cheese and chips. The Ribs were absolutely perfect. The perfect bite/tenderness/but stay together all at the same time. You just know it’s perfect on that first bite. Every bite following that was just as perfect as the first. I had one of every sauce and I honestly enjoyed them all. I think the traditional and the mustard base were my favorites. The garlic butter toast was delicious. The Mac and cheese was delicious. When you go somewhere and every part of it was delicious…. It just makes you believe everything else is delicious too. I have good hunch that I will be right on that. I will be back and thank you.

Delicious Brisket sliders. The sauces were a great addition!! Fun and easy going atmosphere. Loved the outdoor seating in the shade!!

I don’t even like barbecue but their food is actually so good and workers are super sweet.

Amazing place! Food was great…we ate the nachos twice! Chicken & Pork soooo great plenty for two people!

We had the best experience! Murphy was great and made us feel like family, even going out of his way to come talk to our table and point us in the direction of some locations we weren’t aware of. The brisket is some of the best we’ve have ever had! We will definitely be back anytime we are in the area!

Got the pulled pork salad which came with homemade ranch dressing. The pork had wonderful flavor and the dressing was delicious. The owner was very friendly and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Perfect meal for a hot day if you want something filling but not too heavy.

Killer pulled pork nachos!!! No shoes, No shirt, No problem. Ice cold water for your dog as well! The whole surrounding area is filled to the brim with things to do. I can say that I have never had a bad item from the menu, or found myself not having an amazing time!

Love it!!! The owner/operator is a great guy and he takes pride in what he has built these last 14 years. The food is tasty, and you can't go wrong with a bbq nacho plate big enough to serve 2-3 people!

My wife and I always make an effort to eat at Barefoot BBQ at least once every time we visit Seaside. Really good comfort food in a pretty setting. I enjoy the pork sandwich and the better half loves the portabella sandwich.

Customer service was great!!! I got the chicken salad sandwich it was really good but not the best I've ever had... close though!! The beans are spicy but soooooo delicious 😋! The Mac and cheese and potato salad were really good as well and I don't normally eat mustard based potato salad!!! The overall atmosphere and food I'd eat there again for sure!!!!

One of my favorite food trucks ! The sauces are all insanely good and such a great variety. If you love sauce, they have a lot of different ones. sweet, hot, vinegar, and hot sauces and bbq seasoning on the table. I’ve never had my passion for great sauce catered to so well. This is a restaurant you will be sad you missed if you don’t go on 30A. I had a bbq sandwich plate with the best Mac and cheese sprinkled with the bbq seasoning and the most unusual but delicious bean, and after that meal I had to order ribs to go, I was so impressed . The ribs were just as impressively cooked/ smoked as the sandwich meat. It’s very easy to tell they put their passion and love into this food, and handmade every part. Every detail has love put into it down to great buns/ bread and perfectly cooked pasta. I ate so much on my visit to this great town in Seaside, but this was my absolute favorite. Great views, perfect little area. Really kind and cool staff. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Best place I went to in Seaside.
