McLain's Corner Bar Grill

Friendliest staff around. Lisa is the best. We even got invited to their charity golf tournament and had a blast! Highly recommend. We loved living within walking distance from there and miss going there on the regular.

It's like a 21st century Cheers. Everyone's so friendly. Really great vibe and we enjoyed our food. The trashed wings are so delicious!

Great corner bar feeling with awesome food.

We were looking for a place to watch the U.S.A. and England for the World Cup and couldn’t get in anywhere. We looked these guys up and pulled in. There was no one in the bar except Greg, the bartender and owners son. I was at first disheartens but Greg did everything to accommodate me and my family. The drinks were cold, and the food was great. We had a wonderful experience hanging at this very cool local corner bar! Thanks Greg!

Make no mistake, this is a classic STL corner bar. No frills, just good service and cold beer. You might catch a funny look if you're an outsider, but it's a friendly enough crowd. However, the hamburger was exactly what I hoped to find: simple ingredients and perfect execution. That burger makes McClain's a true hole-in-the-wall find. Next time I'm having the grilled chicken wings.....

My friend and I were hesitant to check out McLain's at first, but happy that we did. Very intimate "dive bar" type setting that allows smoking, Constance our bartender took our names with our drink order and was very friendly and polite with us during our visit. The crowd was really laid back for a Friday night, everyone just here for a laugh and a beer. I will certainly be back in the future, especially given the convenient location across from my gym!

Great cozy corner bar with the best wings in town, get them grilled. Can not overstress how great this bar is.

It's a smoky little bar, but the service is great. Karaoke on Thursday nights is always a good time, even the owner joins in on the fun. Lisa and Cheryl make great drinks for a reasonable price.

Great Local Dive Bar. Best grilled wings in town, and awesome burgers. In fact, all of their food is better than you would expect from a local pub. And, this IS a smoking bar. If you are tired of smoking outside in the freezing cold winter or boiling hot summers, this is the place to be.

Honestly, I love this dive bar. The wings are impossible to beat. If you are a non-smoker, you will want to take a pass on this joint. Thursday's is Gary-oke. The place gets packed by 9pm until close. The worst singer can give it a go and people will clap anyhow.

Couldn't find a bar open last night. Finally came across McLains and they were open and served us up a great Vegas bomb. Bartender was friendly and funny. For the small amount of time I spent there, I will be back.

Awesome neighborhood Bar & Grill Lisa & Sarah are the Best. Great food (Ya gotta try the Grilled Wings!!!!). Great Regulars/Local people's.

Fun old school neighborhood pub. Only thing that might irk some is it is a smoking bar. I dont smoke but its a fun nice place. GREAT dirty wings/drummies.

The best most affordable wings in town. This place is great! You can smoke there so be aware of that.
