Listen. All I can say is get the oxtail and curry chicken pizza. My husband and I drove 30 minutes because he saw an IG post about this place. And we WILL be back. The pizza is delicious. My husband loved how personable the owner was. Great customer service, fresh, and delicious food from real people. You have our support!

My husband and I were in the Charlotte area for my birthday and saw this hidden gem on TikTok. The food was so good it almost brought tears to our eyes. We actually was able to catch the owner Renaldo. He was super humble, friendly and just simply a cool dude. We tried the oxtail grilled cheese, oxtail and shrimp pasta as well as the sklittles lemonade. Nothing disappointed us. Oh not to mention the strawberry cheesecake. Basic-looking but packed with flavor. We can't wait to come back to Charlotte. Renoldos will be the first place we stop.

Food is worth every penny! It’s a bit of a wait after ordering. However, the food is very flavorful and good. We ordered the shrimp chorizo pizza, chicken Philly egg roll (glad for options that isn’t pork or beef egg rolls), and loaded fries (no bacon). Presentation of the food is 5plus stars.

A couple of months ago I orded an oxtail pizza that wasn’t up to the chef’s standards. He offered to remake it but unfortunately, I wasn’t close by. When I shared that with him, he told me to come back whenever I can and there was no time limit on the remake. I was finally in the area today and wasn’t sure if his offer would still stand and it did! I appreciate the chef so much for such gracious customer service and being extremely kind.

Drove 2 hours just so my sister visiting from TN could taste the magic. Renaldo and his crew didn't disappoint she loved everything we had! Support this business 🙌🏾

I ordered the oxtail pizza. Doordash got it to me lukewarm & it was still delicious. The next morning cold it was again, delicious. And the next day when I got back home & could reheat... it was what? You guessed it, still delicious. Oxtail was tender, flavorful & meaty w/ sweet red peppers & creamy cheese it's a must try.

First time visiting after hearing raving reviews. After placing my order we waited about 35 mins for the food. The oxtail pizza is a mix sweet and tangy it is really good! The Mac and cheese rolls were also good the sauce on top was the best part. The salmon Alfredo tacos were ok not my fav but my friend really enjoyed them! I’ll definitely be back to try other menu items.

Called ahead before the rush, amazing oxtail pizza. Kids loved the fruity pebbles chicken and waffles. Black owned, very nice atmosphere.

Renaldo's offers a wide range of delicious foods that are always perfectly presented and freshly made. I have never had a bad dish from Renaldo. He started with a food truck that we would happily "stalk" across Gaston County. If you're looking for a recommendation, you cannot go wrong with the shrimp and grits or the lobster Mac and cheese.

Stopped by here on my way to SC. Got the oxtail pizza and the truffle butter Lobster grilled cheese. Needless to say.... my stomach is happy! I loved every bit of it!

Yes this place is worth all the hassle. Because this is a new small business you need to be a lil bit understanding if they run out of a menu item or take longer than expected to get an order ready, or like many have stated their hours vary. Your best bet is to check their Instagram for daily updates and go in person. They are understaffed so it can be difficult placing an order, getting a hold of them on the phone or getting quick service... But let me tell you what they hit it out of the ballpark when they do it right. The place is small but very clean. The owner will take the extra time to keep it clean too. They have also begun to do late night weekend hours so after the bar/club you need to go get your late night food. They do run out of their oxtail super fast so be forewarned. Last time I went I got the lobster Mac n cheese omg better than any of the bougie restaurants in CLT and twice the portion at an actual reasonable price. Not only was it still piping hot when I got home (gave it to me straight out of the oven no sitting under a heating lamp), the cheese pull was amazing and they did not skimp on the lobster. There were giant chunks of lobster claw and lobster meat everywhere. It took me three sittings to finish it all.

The very first time I walked in and witnessed how Renaldo ran his kitchen, I knew my food was going to be fire!

I came just for the oxtail pizza. I ended up getting the pizza, a skittles drink and banana pudding. It was absolutely amazing 💪🏽 I definitely reccomend to try if you like oxtail. now I did not care for the look of the skittles drink but it wasn’t too sweet and still had a great taste.

Everything I tried was delicious!!! Highly recommend the fruity pebbles chicken and waffles, oxtail pizza, and salmon Philly roll 😋 The owner was very down-to-Earth and helpful with menu questions. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!

I saw a tik tok about Renaldo's oxtail pizza, so, you know I had to go try it. When I tell you it's pressure....... It's BUSSIN BUSSIN!! I definitely will be going back to try more dishes. I also got the RCE Supreme and the chorizo and shri.p which were also good!! It's black owned.....go support!!

Heard rave reviews and took the opportunity when family came in town. It was a wait but it’s worth the wait! The oxtails are cooked to perfection and the food is flavorful. So many options to choose from, take your time and visit a few times.

I've been to this location twice now and both times I got the 8 piece wings with garlic parmesian flavoring. I thought the wings were delicious and flavored to the bone. I look forward to trying their other items, especially the ox tail pizza. Definitely check them out if you're in the area.

The wait was a little long. It was well worth it. The food is amazing and I will be back. The oxtail pizza and wings omg. The owner/cook is very passionate about what he do.

Ohhh myyyy goodness!!! The food here is AMAZING!! My family and I were visiting the Charlotte area for the weekend and ran across this place via a Google search. We saw that it had great reviews so decided to try it for ourselves and we are so glad we did. We tried several things off of the menu...shrimp n grits, pasta, salmon, pizza, oxtails, Lobster mac n cheese, chicken and waffles (fruit pebbles flavor). The food was so good we went back the next day to order more food. They make Skittles drinks as well.Renaldo and his staff are wonderful people. They treat you like family when you come to their restaurant. We've already told several of our friends about this place and this will definitely be on our list when we're back in town. I tried to take pics of the food but some of my family were already eating and locking their fingers by then lol
