Pink Beds Picnic Area

This place is amazing. The parking is great and there's so many picnic tables. The bathrooms are closed for the winter.

Good place for family gatherings, there are tables for picnics

We stopped by to hike the loop trail which for about half its length passes close by water. Lots of areas where the bird song is loud and we were able to identify many different types. There was one stream crossing bridge washed out but with the low water managed to cross without any wet feet. Only saw two other groups of 2 while we were walking. Trail is very easy and also quite pretty for a lowlands trail.

After the loop trail, took advantage of the picnic area. Only one other table being used in the approx 10-acre picnic area so very peaceful.

It is a beautiful spot. There is a large pavilion, multiple tables scattered throughout and restrooms.

A 5 Mile loop trail but a nice flat picnic area at parking lot. Not a strenuous trail but a nice longer walk. Bathrooms are closed for winter! Be aware!

Nice, big open field with lots of picnic tables and grills. Some tables are in the shade others are in full sun. Plenty of space separates the picnic sites. Two covered shelter areas and restroom facilities. Connected to an easy hiking trail that meanders through the wetland area and forest.

Beautiful place to have a gathering... Unfortunately all facilities in the area were still closed for winter season (would have been nice if one in the local area was open)... Look forward to returning soon to hike full loop and other trails nearby

Great place for families to picnic. There are covered shelters but you have to get there early in the morning to get one. "The early bird gets the worm" so to speak..... At and elevation of almost 3300 feet, it's a good place to escape the heat in the valleys below. Has a trash dumpster and restroom facilities. Potable water...

A lovely place to picnic! Spacious with good parking adequate to it's size. A public restroom as well. Great for families. Grills by most tables. Tables widely spaced. A peaceful place

Wonderful place on the very top of the blue ridge great place to go hiking or a family picnic and while you are in the area check out the cradle of forestry

Beautiful place to be. The meadow is perfect for the kids to run around in. The shelters are handy for tiny days.
