Dr. Kimberly B. Edgmon, MD

Dr. Edgmon has taken care of our family for over 9 years. She is kind, patient and thorough. Not only does she listen to our concerns as parents, she asks questions directly to the children so they feel empowered to be an active participant in their care. Dr. Edgmon has helped our family navigate various health concerns and guided us to specialists when appropriate. From ear infections to surgeries, she has been an advocate for our children every step of the way. The amount of research she puts into everything she does is unmatched. As a mom in healthcare, I appreciate her attention to detail, her willingness to listen, and her ability to guide us through the journey of parenthood with patience and grace. Because let’s be honest, being a pediatrician is so much more than runny noses and sore throats.

Dr. Edgmon has been such a blessing to our family. She has cared for our two kids, now 12 and 10, from birth. She’s thorough, diligent, and extremely knowledgeable, and is always accessible when we need advice. I’ve sent friends and family to her, and would continue to recommend her every single time.
One of my children was recently hospitalized with what we found out was a horrible flare up of celiac disease. Dr. Edgmon has been a wealth of knowledge and advice throughout the ordeal, helping us navigate through treatment, advocating on my child’s behalf with specialists, and digging in to additional research to make sure no stone is left unturned. She truly goes above and beyond to take care of her patients.

I can't express how much Dr. Edgmon is loved and appreciated by our entire family. She is ALWAYS kind and patient when visiting with me and my 2 daughters. She never rushes through our appointments and always seems to make me feel heard with my concerns and never as if I'm the "over protective mom" that I'm sure I can come across as. I appreciate the prompt receiving time from the time of arrival to the wait time before she sees us. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Edgmon to any family that is searching for an AWESOME pediatrician!

Dr. Edgmon and her staff are excellent. We have been seeing her for 11 years with all my 4 children. I feel well cared for. One of my children has a phobia of needles and the whole staff have been so kind and patient for years as we bring her in for her immunizations and flu shots. They deserve medals!

Dr. Edgmon has been our children's Pediatrician for 10 years now. We believe she is an outstanding doctor who repeatedly goes above and beyond what we expect from a physician and treats our children with a great deal of care and compassion. We believe she is as good of a person as she is a physician.

Dr. Edgemon is very punctual, we have never waited more than a couple of minutes. She is very patient with the kids and answers all of our questions. I have been very impressed with this office as a whole, when our kids where born Dr. Maschino was covering for her that weekend and she was great too.

The wait time has not ever been long. Which is great with a newborn. She was soooo sweet and nice and listened to everything that I could have possibly worried about. (I'm a first time mom). She was so good with my baby too. She took all the time with me that I needed. She is great!

Has always taken care of our child very well. We will stay with Dr. Edgmon for a long time. Thank you!

Dr. Edgmon is one of the best pediatricians. I strongly recommend her.

Dr. Edgmon is very sweet and professional, however, that is not what a child needs when sick. My child was sick with upper respiratory issues and ear infections from October to February. At every appointment (around 6 appts) we were told it was a virus and nothing could be done. I completely understand that children get viruses multiple times, especially during that time of year, but why were we not discussing tubes after his third ear infection or when his drainage changed colors why was I made to feel like a terrible parent for asking for an antibiotic or if steroids were an option? I am not a physician so these questions were out of pure ignorance on my part.

After our last and final appointment, I felt defeated and very frustrated. I decided to take my child straight to an after care clinic. He was diagnosed with another ear infection, heart murmur (which ended up being no problem) and put on an antibiotic. Needless to say, I switch pediatricians immediately.

We have been with a new pediatrician since February and have been sent to an ENT specialist for tube discussion. At this appointment it was also discovered my sons adenoids are obstructing 80% of his airway. The reason they even thought to look at this was the simple fact he has had constant drainage since October of last year.

I am not writing this review to be ugly but to make parents aware that getting a second opinion is never a bad idea. Especially when your child is sick for months with zero progress.
