A Beer at a Time

This is a great spot opposite corner from the Camas mill. They have plenty of beer on tap and at least six different kinds of ciders. They have an amazing lemon basil cider. Super friendly staff. Great service and great food.

I love this place. Every time we have been here the food has been amazing. I love everything I've tried with brisket on it (pizza, Mac & cheese) and the chicken pot pie is top notch comfort food. I don't drink alcohol but they have a big selection. I really like the root beer. It has a comfortable atmosphere with space for music acts, which they have regularly.

We got the garlic wings, pulled pork nachos, and beacon rock pizza. The wings were definitely the start. Nice and crispy and the sauce was so good. The pizza dough had the perfect texture and chewiness to it. The beer cheese on the nachos was amazing. I'd put that in anything. It was nice getting to try a few ciders before picking what I wanted.

Great spot for a beer in Camas. Their tap list is huge. All of the food I've had has been good too. Dog friendly enclosed patio makes it a top choice for us.

This place is our favorite, great music, beer selection galore and amazing cocktails! Shepherd's Pie and Chicken Pot Pie are a real pleasure (as you can see by the empty cast iron)!
Owners have done an exceptional job with Cast of Bands and all their cheerful staff.

Best bands play there, great service from employees, and the wings are really the best, and other food was very well made. Our bartender also made the best blackberry margarita and a Mai tai. Loved our evening spent here

A great place to visit for live music, trivia, food, and drinks. Huge selection of beers on tap, although I'm a huge fan of the lemon basil cider, and they always have plenty of tasty food options. They also have an amazing dessert case with tons of options. Staff and the owner are all super nice, and we love the cozy, rustic decor (plenty of seating though). Great outdoor space for nice weather too. Definitely recommend!

Beer at a Time is the kind of place that will keep me anchored to this side of the river without feeling that I'm missing anything in Portland. Such a cool atmosphere with a stellar drink menu. There's a huge space in back that can be reserved for special occasions. They have a small stage for live music which usually happens on weekends and is advertised on their website. Food is great, pizza really good, but I mainly go for drinks and ambience. It feels like an old auto shop converted or something which gives it this really unique look and feel. Love this place and it is my go-to for drinks and a great place to hang out in Camas!

Popped over for wings and a salad for dinner. Both were excellent. The Sriracha sweet chili wings were not medium spicy in my book, but they were delicious!

Went in for a lunch beer on a Thursday. Atmosphere was quiet and comfortable and had a great conversation with the bartender. They told me about a great hike nearby while I was in town that I will do later this weekend.
They also told me about the live music Friday and Saturday night that hopefully I'll get a chance to attend.

Love the variety of beer 🍺, the food is good, atmosphere is chill and great service. The owner Shelby is really nice too.

Bartender had great food recommendations with beer/cider to match. Ordered the chicken nachos, so good! Service was quick and appreciated them staying open until 9pm. When other restaurants closed early.

My sister took me out for a lunch date to this great gem! We shared pulled pork nachos and the chicken pesto sandwich. I had the lemon basil cider it was great!

This was a good time. Live band, plenty of seating, and great food.

Ended up here during their busiest hour on a Saturday night. The place was pretty full but the service did not suffer. There was almost never a line to order at the bar, the service was shockingly fast with the food and everything tasted incredible!

If that's not enough, the environment is so perfect! There was live music from a very talented musician but it wasn't so loud you couldn't enjoy a conversation with your table. For someone with social anxiety like I have, it created a pretty great balance to help keep me doing well. The decor is also very cool and the tap list is amazing.

UPDATE: I've now been here many, many times and can happily report that all of the food is just downright incredible, including the whole new menu! The staff are incredibly friendly and there are few places I enjoy going as much. This place is well worth a visit any day!

UPDATE 2: All of the above still remains true except I will say that sometimes when the owner is handling bar service and it's really busy it seems like she's not in a good mood, and I've been on the receiving end of that. I've also had less than pleasant experiences with other staff at times. It's still great most of the time and it's nothing so bad that it will stop me from going but it's worth mentioning. Also, I'm still very impressed with how fast their food service is.

Always a fun time! It's always busy and noisy and fun! Food and drinks have been tasty. Staff super friendly. My husband likes the choice of beers on tap. They typically have a band on the weekend. No cover charge. I've never been disappointed! If going when a band is playing I highly recommend getting there early for a seat. They fill up quickly!
