The Haystack Cafe

We stopped on our cross country move because it had the best reviews. I walked in and asked about sitting outside on a patio or if our pup was allowed inside. They offered us either and said he was more than welcomed. They were the sweetest people we have met. We ordered a French toast special, the western omelette, and the big breakfast and was completed surprised by just how good it was! It was by far the best breakfast we ever had. They were so kind and honestly it was the highlight of our day! When we visit, we will be back.

First time visiting The Haystack and I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was friendly and the food was on point! My wife and I had breakfast, which was GREAT! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the biscuit was the largest fluffier I've ever had! I will definitely be back!

This is the place our motorcycle riding club was created/started with a couple of guys who met up there to ride. I had the chance to go to visit the cafe / bar and “The Tree”.

Our club SCRC is now over 30k members and the National Rally was held this weekend to celebrate 25 years.

I would recommended this cafe to anyone traveling along the highway to stop for breakfast or lunch, or a sip of beverage. Good people here that great you with a smile, and make sure you food is perfect or if there is anything you need.

So glad I got the chance to stop in. I’ll be back.

Note- the tree was struck by lightning this past summer and the large oak may not survive as it was spilt. The owners are doing all they can to look to keep it up. ❤

Very clean place to eat, food was great and made to order, plenty of space to have a good time for a night out. Live bands on the weekend, always a plus. Server was awesome, suggested without being asked. Cook was great, came to personally ask about the prep of ordered food. Had the Chicken Philly & fries, Philly was hot and fresh, fry seasoning is on point with the crispy crinkles cuts. Definitely will be back!

The food and customer service here is great. I'm partial to breakfast, but their lunch menu is also delicious. The orders are timely, whether you dine in or call in. The prices are more than fair. I really couldn't say enough about the food and customer service though. They keep it clean within the establishment, and both inside and outside, it's picturesque of a vacation trip in the country. I thank the Lord Jesus that He has given me the opportunity to experience another good restaurant. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ has forgave you."

Great food and lots of it. Friendly wait staff although maybe short staffed because it took a little while. Still worth the wait. It's like a local sports bar that serves home style food.

Excellent food and service. Not a fancy atmosphere, but cozy and comfortable like sitting down at your family table with a room full of people you don't know.

The food was great here. The atmosphere was like a bar entertainment area which was nice and different from the regular restaurant scene, The service was really good and the servers were nice, I would definitely come back here.

They are very nice and the Breakfast was delicious, and they have good bands on the weekends

This is one of the best rock venues in northwest Shelby County. Great vibe and atmosphere but they have a hard time getting people to go there. Definitely worth checking out and some great bands playing regularly... highly recommended

Cozy bar nice, cool has pool tables but only serves beer 🍺🍻 in case your a mixed drinks girl like I am BUT you can bring your own bottle so that's awesome and they have attentive staff! I didn't order food but it smelled good.

Friday night dinner service was extremely slow; however, the quality of the food and kindness of the waitstaff made the experience enjoyable. The karaoke night hosted by Sheri made the night a great outing! I plan on returning with my family.

Stopped in here with my semi to meet a buddy for dinner and we decided to give this place a try. Let me tell you that both of us were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the doors. Actually fairly nice place! The staff were quite awesome as well. We ordered cheese burgers and fries and they came out in a decent time and the food was very good! The portion size was pretty generous as well! I can say I won't be afraid to stop back in here and quite honestly, I look forward to stopping here again!

Walked in just as the kitchen was closing. Ole boy in the back came out, asked if I was hungry, and proceeded to fix me one of the best spaghetti dinners I've ever had. I drive truck for a living, so finding a good home-cooked meal has it challenges. Will definitely be stopping again the next time I'm in the area.

Greatest country highway bar in the greater Memphis area. Fantastic food. Very nice staff. Don't be in a hurry and go out back and enjoy the games and bonfire.

Great diner food. More than I could finish completely, they're plentiful portions for sure. My waitress was super friendly, my coffee was delicious and stayed full. I'll definitely stop in again when we are in town. I recommend you give them a shot.

Hidden gem! Arrived for Sunday brunch and food was hot, quick, and delicious! There were giant, homemade biscuits and everything was well cooked and well seasoned. The owner was a really sweet lady basically running the place by herself. We will have to come back!
