Great park with splash pad. Lots of fun for family's

We love coming here with our 4 year old twins. Lots of covered picnic tables and this year they've installed sun shades around the splash pad which makes coming here a little better so I don't bake in the sun. The water shuts off for 15 minutes at the end of each hour ( x:45-x:00) to save on water I'm guessing so just keep that in mind. It's easy to find and close to quite a few good places to eat within 5-10 minutes.

It was wonderful! 💕 I especially loved the coverings that were put in place to shade the children while they're playing in the playground or around the Splash Pad. Those large shade umbrellas were so comfortable to be under when the weather is hot! Legacy Park is a favorite for this grandmother and my children!! Theresa Brown 🌊🌊🌊🌊

This park is a hidden treasure of North Salt Lake. There are several pavilions in different sizes, a covered playground, splash-pad, showers, and a basketball court. It has a nice fitness trail that goes on for several miles along Legacy highway.

Looked up a place to find catering trucks and found this location. enjoyed a good meal @ DaKine grindz Hawaiian and Filipino barbecue, And a Pina Colada smoothie which was on point. The Hawaiian mixed plate was very good except for the burnt Huli Huli chicken kebabs

Such a great park! We love the splash pad. It’s such a great time for kids of all ages! There are a lot of benches around the splash pad and covered areas for shade that make it nice for parents while the kids play.

There are restrooms and dressing rooms available too. They are pretty well maintained. The playground is always fun too. It has more things to do than a regular playground setup, so our daughter always has fun.

The park has a few pavilions I think you can rent for events. But again, so much open space and shade there is a lot of options for a picnic setup or small get together without a pavilion! There’s also a very large field area that would be great for any event or games, etc.

Great location and large grass area for soccer or football. Signs indicate no dogs allowed.

Has canopies for shade, amazing park for your kids to run around and climb. So far my favorite climbing park for my kid. Good amount of pavilions.

My kiddos love this park! It has some traditional equipment as well as some of the more modern spinning and climbing types. When we have gone to this park a few other families have always been there as well, but not too crowded at all - each child has plenty of room to play on whatever equipment they like. A big field is on the east, a splash pad on the south (I haven’t been yet when that is open), and just north of the park is a fun and safe pedestrian bridge over Legacy Parkway, linking up with that trail system. It is a little loud, being right next to the highway, but it is so fun it makes up for it!

We were visiting from out of town and we were looking for something to do for our kids until we needed to head back to the airport. Plenty of shade, splash pad, good sized playground with a jungle gym, slides and a climbing wall. Feels safe and clean with no weirdos hanging around.

Great flat basketball court that is perfect for... no, not basketball; It's great for riding flatland freestyle bmx of course. Popular park, barbecues, playground toys, etc. But, I've only used it for the bike. Locals on non-locals ripping it up.

Such a beautiful park. Well cared for, clean, and really a pride for this neighborhood. My kids love their splash pad, playground, and green grass. Splash pad shuts off 15 mins before each hour to clean and refresh. Bathrooms with showers are right there too. Pavilions with plentiful seating, and hanging sun shades and benches by the splash pad and playground are wonderful for parents to sit and watch. Really a wonderful asset for this community!

A decent Splash pad with large shade umbrellas for parents, showers and restrooms, pavilions, and a playground. The only unpleasant thing is how exposed everything is to the sun on a hot day, but it's not a problem if you're able to get wet

Amazing place to take your kids, chill with the family or go relax on the shade with a good book! This park feels as though your at a “Rec” center but there’s zero fees! Free, clean wholesome fun for the whole family! Not to mention they put up massive structures for additional shade which took this place up a huge notch in our book! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to have a fun afternoon in the sun/shade and not wanting to spend a whole lot of money! :)

This park is HUGE!! Lots of grass area to play cornhole, 4 square volleyball, kickball and two bounce houses. An event was put on and this park was perfect. Plus there was plenty of other Pavillion and a playground area withing walking distances. Parking was tight and fills up quickly. Basketball court was on the far end, too far to stay with the group and watch my kid play. No pickleball courts, that would be awesome in the future.

Great park! Several Bowery's to eat at, clean bathrooms, great walking trails around the park and near by, lots of green grass to run and play on, nice playground, splash park during the summer, food trucks every Monday and summer farmers market on Mondays.
