The Berry Patch

Fun stop! I needed to take a break from driving & use the restroom, so I stopped here. The bathrooms had really long lines, but they were clean. They had ice cream and food for sale, along with picnic tables.

I’m glad I stopped here, but I wouldn’t stop here just for the restroom because the lines were long. But this is a great stop if you’re looking to break up the drive and do something fun and different.

Love love this little place. It is a must to stop by every time you go by it. It is like a huge produce, Fruit, Old fashioned Candy, Canned jams, jelly's Pickles, handmade crafts.. and so much more...
The ice cream is the best. The cashiers and the people that work there are awesome. It's just a nice place to stop and get you a little something and use the restroom.

We stopped and were greeted warmly. Produce is BEAUTIFUL, so many veggies to choose from, treasures like homemade pimento cheese, and already- cooked collards. We had to make it a brief visit, but we left with a delicious cone of homemade ice cream. We could have spent an hour or more there browsing.

This place was the best!! From now on its gonna be a stop on the way home. I wished I'd took pictures of the ice cream but I ate it too fast lol but it was delicious!!

What an awesome place!! I went for the ice cream but it has so much more. Fresh produce of every kind, mater pie & chicken pie to cook at home, a beach scene with sand & chairs to enjoy the ambiance. And yes, so many flavors of homemade ice cream as well as a big selection of ice cream made by premium labels. The prices are very affordable and they have coolers & ice to take your selections with you. I tried the homemade peach ice cream and it was delicious. I'm so glad I stopped by. And yes, I will go again😊

Great stop right off the highway. Clean restroom, fresh produce and homemade ice cream. We stopped on our way home from vacation and it was a great alternative to a travel plaza or rest area. They had a BBQ truck that Saturday which we enjoyed grabbing a bite from.

The family and I love place. Great service and great ice cream! They have strawberries, homemade jam, homemade fudge, any kind of produce that you want and a souvenir to take home if you're just passing threw,

Great place to take the whole family!! Kid friendly also pets..Has corn hole and fun things to do other than just ice cream!! Berry patch has best ice cream around Richmond County!! I recommend stopping and checking it out!

Great relaxing atmosphere. The kids enjoy taking off their shoes and putting their toes in the sand, while they eat great treats! We go for the homemade ice-cream, fresh fruit and the boiled peanuts! I also love their candles 🥰

Local favorite and secret. This place had a little bit of everything. Fresh produce, canned and bagged items, tee shirts, ice cream, and hard candy by the pound. Staff is very helpful and kind.

Very helpful staff. Ice cream was delicious (waffle cone with pistachio ice cream) and you get a generous amount. Play area for the kiddos and a designated pet area. Fruits and veggies, jams, jellies, clothing, jewelry, handmade crafts. Very easy to get to on/off the highway. Definitely will be back. :)

Stopped by today and sampled mighty tasty homemade ice cream - made by the Berry family in multiple flavors. 2 windows to order & pickup in the middle window.
Restrooms clean & overflow port-a-John’s also on premise.

Handicap accessible - all one one level. Fresh produce & fruits readily available too.

Worth the trip just for the ice cream.

Tasty desserts to cool you off with plenty of rockers to unwind for a moment and beautiful produce to choose from. Restrooms on site. Photo opportunities, corn hole and gift shop.

Awesome little find off the road! Lots of excellent local produce and other odds and ends like canned food and pimento cheese. They also have an amazing selection of homemade ice cream and were kind enough to put some in a milkshake cup so I could make a root beer float and it was one of the best floats I've ever had, mostly on account of the unique taste of the homemade vanilla. Seriously, the best. They have a little playground area and plenty of outdoor seating, which makes this a great place to unwind and relax, especially if you have kids and are fatigued from your drive.

Berry sweet stop! This roadside attraction is worth the stop just for building alone. Programmatic Architecture....The Strawberry Patch! Built in 2003 by the owner, Lee Berry. It is sure to catch your eye! Stop inside!

Americana! Experience days gone by at an open air concession stand and road side attraction...with homemade strawberry ice-cream! Or peach...or butter peacan or what ever you want.

A nice surprise stop off the highway, with great fresh fruit, produce and ice cream. We had to get the blueberries, golden delicious apples and the extra large strawberries! They were so sweet and juicy!

Right off the exit, this is a popular stop and they do indeed have great strawberries as well as other fruits, veggies and ice cream to die for. Very creamy and reasonably priced. When we stopped there a band was setting up for a free concert. Lots of folks setting up lawn chairs.

What a wonderful place. Something for everyone. Great selection of pumpkins to choose from or pick your own. Corn maze, slides, sand box, as well as a corn box. Hayrides, apple/pumpkin shooter. Food truck, picnic tables, and swings for the adults. You will have to sign a waiver because the place is a working farm. Great place to spend an afternoon.

This is my second time here on a road trip from North Carolina to South Carolina, and I found it just as charming! Very good strawberry shortcake at a very fair price, lots of wonderful fresh produce and very tasty, juicy strawberries. If you're looking for a place to get out and stretch your legs, sit out at a picnic table, walk your pet, this is the ideal place to stop by. They do take cards, as well as Google pay, Apple pay, and cash of course. ;)
