The facilities are top notch, very clean and so many options available. Two story water slide, slash zone, pools, basketball court, indoor track and a few studio rooms. Pricing sheet available at the front desk, includes sports leagues and locations of other YMCAs in OKC.

My only complaint was Steve working at the front desk. Wasn't greeted, and no one was checking as members scanned in. Steve let us know and the others waiting, he was working on a project and would be with us in a moment multiple times as he sat at the other computer. Anyone could walk in without checking in, after five mins I realized I could just walk around and check out the facilities instead of waiting to ask Steve if we could have a walk around. The second person was back to work the desk by the time we left.

That being said the other staff we encountered were very helpful. Most information was posted on boards around the facilities.

Awesome disc golf course! 18 holes at Ty Cunningham DGC. Beautifully wooded course offers challenging shots and wonderful scenery. We will definitely come play this course often!

Mitch park is super clean and has a good amount of stuff to do!
There's a YMCA located at the front of the park, several pavilions and picnic tables plus a park for kids to play, walking trails, places to play disc golf or several other sports like baseball. The city keeps the park quite clean and offers pavilion rentals which are great for parties and get-togethers. Overall a great place to spend the day!

Everyone is friendly. We came there mostly because of the leisure pool. The pool is nice, but we need more free family swimming time in the schedule, please. Another thing, for safety reason, your kids have to use the vest unless they pass the swimming test.

A great place to swim, work out, and run. The facilities are very nice. There are also great trails in park all around for walking, hiking running, and biking. We enjoy picking blackberries and sand plums here as well. Our dogs love it here too!

The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are amazing. While teens are not allowed to take over the weight room and fitness areas, serious teens may attend a training session that then allows them access to the fitness area. A smaller weight and fitness area is also located outside of the main fitness area which allows those who do not want to go through training some free weight access. It also has weight machine, which my husband and I actually prefer to those offered in the main fitness room.

My son loves the child watch. I wish it was open more hours but it is open enough for me to be flexible in my schedule of working out nearly every day.

Would love to have more hours of the leisure pool open but I don't know whether or not we would use it more if they did.

As to the cost, a family can have access to the facility for a little less than $60. That seems very reasonable especially considering that my husband, who travels nationwide a lot, has access to every Y where he travels. My daughter who is away at college has access to the Y where she is as well. It's more than worth it.

Mitch Park YMCA is an fabulous facility with quality equipment and excellence in cleanliness. We appreciate the open layout of the building and high standards in design. Our family has six children and we use the engaging and fun childcare area for our younger ones and the workout areas with our teens. Part of the Y that we sincerely appreciate are the sports programs that are free with our family membership. The outdoor track for walking is also beautiful!!

I go here several times a week. They are open late, family friendly and there are lots of options. My family really enjoys the environment. Also for the younger kids there are interactive games to keep them moving while parents work out in the gym.

Enjoyed time with my nephews and neice as well as my daughter.

As I walked around the walking circle pool, several small children whom I never met before. Started a game of tag.

They kept getting in my way as I walked around the pool.
So I started slapping the water with my hands cupped.

Next thing I hear is giggling and laughter. So as I passed by they started saying you can't get me. 2 parents that were present told them to get out of the way when I was approaching them. I had fun and they did to.
By the end of the evening I was tucker out, speeding through the water chasing them or rushing away from them.
As I rested on a bench some of the children walked past me with their parents. And they would stop and smile and say you can't get me. I replied you are correct. I am to tired to try.
I enjoyed their smiles and they enjoyed mine.

1 small boy argued with his Mother. Right in front of me. He was one of the boys who had been splashing me when I was not looking at him.

I looked at him. I spoke up and got his attention. I explained to him that if he wanted blessings (good things) in life like real joy and happiness. He needed to learn to honor his mother. He looked with surprised look. He didn't understand.

So I explained to him that obeying his mother even when he did want to. Is how he honors her. And shows her how much he loves her.

My basic is from Scripture. God commands children to obey their parents. He doesn't give any exceptions to the rule.
Remember that no matter how old you might be you are someone's child.
Whether or not your parents are great or the worst. Honor them, love them, you might be what changes them to be better. Your life will be blessed for doing right.

This little guy said he would try.
His mother spent almost an hour trying to teach him to swim. He was not very cooperative with her. Most of the time.

His mother thanked me for trying to encourage him and help him.

Maybe I will see some of them again. I hope to be an encouragement to them and someday a friend. A friend who can help them to love, honor and obey their parents.

God wants us to share his promises with others.

Something as simple as laughing when strangers splash you or get in your way. Can be used to demonstrate God's love toward them.

Children are precious every Last one of them. I am truly blessed!

Cyndi at the front desk is so friendly, this place is a saving grace for any family! Excellent pricing, great fitness classes, and very affordable. The kid care is excellent and very clean, my kids love being there and they have a high ratio of employees to kids!

Me and family joined the Y about a week ago. I really enjoy the fact that I'm able to work out and know my kids are in a safe place. They have freedom to get out the house since I home school 2 out of 5 and no matter the weather they can go swimming. And the price is amazing....... Best thing about that they have a program for family's on fix incomes.

Great family workout and community center. We love the facilities (pool, workout and lifting equipment, courts and walking trails) and come here several times a week. The only thing they don't have that the Rankin location has is a racquetball court.

Something for everyone. Plenty of cardio and weight equipment, classes, pools. Staff is friendly and is doing a good job of keeping things clean during covid. Facility is nice and conveniently located and you can't beat the price!
