What About Bob's Restaurant

It is a family owned and operated restaurant. The food was excellent. Their menu has quite the variety. Hamburger with chili is signature offering. The fries were excellent as well. Most importantly the family members operate the place which is quite appreciative. We will certainly visit again!

We were driving through McAlister and wanted some great breakfast. We saw the reviews and decided to give What About Bob’s a try. Oh my goodness- it was DELICIOUS. Every single item we ordered was cooked exactly like we’d asked and it was SUPER quick!!!! We drive through here a few times a month, so we will definitely be back. Also, the prices are really affordable. It was so amazing!!!!

The food was outstanding and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. This was my first visit and it will not be my last. I just became a regular patron. 😊 Yes, I combined everything onto one plate.

It's been a year since I moved to the area...I go to What About Bob's on a regular basis. The food is always delicious, the staff & service is always friendly, courteous, and fast. I have never been disappointed with anything at this establishment. Job well done to the staff & owner; you all got it figured out! I wish you many more years of success and look forward to my next meal🙂 The biscuits & gravy are the best I have ever had from any restaurant!

Great breakfast! Super fast service. Stopped here on our way back from a camping trip and it was the perfect spot to come and recharge! Pretty busy during their Sunday lunch.

While passing through McAlester on our way south, we stopped here for lunch. It was so well worth it to support this local restaurant! I had the unique, one-of-a kind sandwich called Dylan's Reuben Burger. So delicious with just the right combination of ingredients, and juicy! Although it has Dylan's name on it, I give credit to Carly for coming up with such a unique sandwich! Friendly and attentive service, great food. I highly recommend.

Good food, friendly staff, clean older restaurant. Give them a try. It was $22.00 for 2 people and the plates were plenty.

I've been going to this place off and on since they opened a decade ago.. I love the people that worked there. the carrying income bashment board of them. I would advise anybody to go there for breakfast. Really bad things as they close at 2 PM. My dad used to take me there when he was still alive and he died in 99. If that tells you anything of how long this place has been open an taking care of there Customers. and how much it has changed since then. It started out with a man named Bob that had to Dream. And now it's ran by his daughter excellent family orientated business. Love this place.

Picture a building and location where lots of locals enjoy a hot breakfast and lunch. I’ve eaten here before and thought it was good.

I do want to emphasize and point out that while eating here, I’ve never at any time seen or heard “Bob” on the premises. If “Bob” ever makes a grand or even a subtle appearance, I just wasn’t there to experience it. The answers are out there, somewhere.

Great restaurant! We came here for breakfast, and it was awesome! Good sized portions. Everything was made from scratch! Loved this place!!

Just an amazing place to come eat, whether it’s breakfast or lunch. You’ll always find great and friendly service fantastic food. It’s a place where the locals just sit and talk. I don’t live there but have many friends that do and every time I pass through this is were we go.

We have been told that this was a good place to eat but that was an understatement. This place has a menu that covers the classic and new fusion dishes that had me drooling deciding what to order. The staff is top notch and busy for sure. We will be back and are glad to have found this place to dine.

The BEST chicken fried steak in Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas hands down. The best service in the COUNTRY. I should know it has been my profession for the past 35 years, and these folks make me feel like an amateur. Thank you to the entire staff, whoever the cook is…. there should be a statue out front!

Great service! So happy we found this place! It's a perfect stop between Tulsa and Dallas, for us and it has something for everyone! We definitely recommend the Ruben! It was delicious!

Great hole-in-the-wall place known for all day breakfast, where everyone seems to know everyone. Had the Sunrise Surprise and Dylans Ruben Burger with tater tots and 2 coffees. Both were very good, total bill about $25 including tax and tip. Friendly and efficient servers.

Breakfast here first time on 9/26/21. Such wonderful folks! Great food at a sensible price. Wife had blueberry pancake and bacon. I got biscuits and gravy with bacon. Could not have been better. Lingered over the hot fresh coffee. What a gem! Definitely making a return visit.

A GREAT find. The service is fantastic, they have great coffee and they keep it hot and fresh. The food even better, every thing you want from a diner and more!
