Air Harbor Veterinary Clinic

We take all 3 of our pets to Air Harbor, and they have been an absolute delight compared to our other experiences in the Charleston area.

The staff is patient, kind, and shows tons of affection towards your pets. They have taken wonderful care of our animals, keep us up to date, and check up on our pets after procedures.

Dr. Southard, and all of his staff at Air Harbor are truly the best.
Whether it's our pup or our cats they have been amazing every single time.
Dr. Southard also gets straight to the point and does honest work, he's fantastic.

This is the only place I will recommend to take your pet. My 17 year old cat recently had surgery and they did an amazing job taking care of her and doing the procedure. The waiting rooms are separated for cats and dogs and the receptionists and nurses are extremely friendly and caring.

Dr. Southard jr is an extraordinary vet doc. Very friendly and knows exactly what is happening with your pet. He is very easy and kind to the animals he sees and did a great job on the surgery.

One thing I was surprised by was pricing. They had great prices for a surgery and check ups. I brought my cat back after the surgery because I was worried about excessive swelling and they took a look at her for no charge. 100% will say this is the only vet I will trust with any current and future pets.

Doctor Jim and the staff are amazing. I have always walked out of there with a great feeling that my Wilson has gotten the best care he could get.

We went to Air Harbor for 3 years before leaving the area. We loved this vet office. Every time I called or brought my dogs in to the office the the receptionists were so nice and helpful. All the staff I interacted with had a great energy and treated my dogs so well. One of my dogs is pretty nervous but they were patient with him. Lots of love and treats going around. Dr. Southard was great. Prices are reasonable. We never waited long for our appointments and the office was clean.

We have had several dogs cared for through the years by this friendly and professional team. They go out of their way to listen, understand and explain what is needed to take the very best care of your pet.

I made the crazy decision to get a puppy after 30 years of older dogs. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Beau races to the door to go inside. This past year has been crazy with family emergencies and whenever I needed they were ready to take my boy. His happiness and desire to run inside and greet everyone speaks volumes. So thankful my neighbor recommended the Clinic. They are wonderful. 11/2019 Back again for the holidays and such a positive crew, Beau got his shots and exam. Easy and convenient!

My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Air Harbor for about 4 years now and have had nothing but the best experience. Dr. Southard is extremely knowledgeable and caring…and the staff is always welcoming and so helpful. You can tell everyone there truly cares for their patients and the families.

We recently had to say goodbye to our sweet dog, Tank. And although it is extremely sad…we couldn’t have done it without the support of the staff from Air Harbor. Dr. Southard, Robin and Gina were so genuinely caring and took amazing care of us and Tank. We just received a card in the mail from them, that included Tanks paw and nose print…a precious gift. First impressions really are everything. Plenty of free parking in back, large waiting area that was spotless, comfy and smelled good, super friendly staff & calm atmosphere. My dogs were taken back quickly, efficiently & everyone was so professional. Also wanted to mention we were taking a trip & needed to be seen asap & they squeezed me in which was so nice. Will def be back!

Dr. Southard is wonderful staff have taken such good care of our dog, Millie. They have always found a way to fit us into the schedule when there have been health issues. We love the way he treats our girl, gently and kindly. He always takes time to explain just what’s going on with her and how to care for her. We are so happy we found this practice! We trust the entire team. Also, it’s very easy to communicate with them. Messages are answered promptly and successfully.

We love Air Harbor! They have cared for 2 of our dogs. They were compassionate and helpful when our 1st dog had cancer and helped us keep her comfortable until the end. And now they have ben wonderful with our new dog. Everyone at the office is always friendly and helpful.

I absolutely love this place! As a doggy mama I wouldn't go anywhere else. Air Harbor Veterinary Clinic has been providing healthcare for Wolfie (my 5 lb. 2-year-old yorkie fur baby) since he was 8 weeks old. We make the long trip because the vet, staff, and quality of service is amazing. They are always very kind and accommodating. Dr Southard Jr takes the time to make your anxious guy feel more at ease and explains everything in detail. I would like to thank Dr Southard and his staff for taking care of Wolfie and all his medical needs (medications, routine office visits, neuter and teeth cleaning) Overall, the best place to take your 4-legged family member.
