Pounce Cat Cafe + Wine Bar

Such a fun experience especially for cat lovers! I absolutely love the concept of a cat cafe to help adopt the cats out! So smart! We enjoyed a great drink and lounging with the cats! They all had a personality of their own! So fun and the reservation is only for an hour which gives you plenty of time for a drink and some cat cuddles!

Ashley js a sweetheart met her casually at a venue and she introduced me to this place . Little did I know she was the owner! I’ve been really happy finding this little slice of heaven and enjoying meeting new people and most importantly the sweet little kittens! See below !

Such a great idea! So happy there’s an amazing cafe and wine bar out there with cats from shelters to give love to and adopt! The staff are very friendly and nice to talk to, great place overall! We need more places like this around to help cats find their home and to have a space to roam and be loved on
in replacement to them being in a small kennel at a animal shelter

I had a wonderful experience at Pounce Cat Cafe! The cats were absolutely adorable - very sweet and gentle. They seemed quite content and relaxed, napping peacefully throughout the visit. I especially enjoyed getting to know Callie, who was eager to accept treats from me, highly recommend giving her some treats haha.
The cafe itself had a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Pounce Cat Cafe. The opportunity to interact with the friendly felines in a calm, comfortable setting was truly delightful. I would advise making a reservation, as the cafe can get quite busy, especially on weekends.

This was the purrfect cat cafe! The cats were well taken care of, the atmosphere was amazing, and everyone was just so happy to be there. We also witnessed a cat getting adopted after the hour was up and it was just so heartwarming.

We have been to a few of these around the country. Great idea and amazing effort to get more cats populated with people and out of the cage of a shelter. They have a fun area to experience the cats with offerings for beverages and light snacks.
The coffee and teas are good and sitting area open and well lit. They have a high adoption rate of over 1 adoption per day. Loved seeing 2 adoptions today when we visited.

Pounce cafe is such a fun and unique experience. The atmosphere is comfy and cozy with cats just running around and playing. You can sit and sip on your favorite drink, grab a pasty and get all the loves from the cats! They’re not overcrowded with cats and they have plenty of space to roam, climb, play and sleep. I love the fact that you can adopt the cats straight from the cafe. They work with Charleston animal society which also helps limiting over crowding the shelter. All the staff was super friendly and you can tell they love their job!

Went here with my girlfriend about half a year ago, but it was such a memorable experience, and I plan on coming back soon! I love the concept of just being able to chill for an hour and see some silly little fellas. The coffee was good too, from what I remember. As a former barista at Starbucks, I'm pleased with the syrup selections :D

I am visiting Charleston for the first time this week and had a great time at the cat cafe. The employees were super friendly and the cats were so cute. There was plenty of room for the cats to sleep and play. The best part about this cafe is that they’ve participated in over 2,000 adoptions since 2016. I love what they are doing for these little kitties.

It's a great way to get to play with cats and potentially adopt one. It's a neat business model, cafe in the back, and cats to play with up front.

I really need to learn to read catitude better. Magnus is playful, and he has sharp claws -- lol.

Had such a great time at Pounce! I really enjoyed spending time with all the cats there. The staff were incredibly helpful, and answered any questions we had. What's not to love when cats are snuggling with you?

I love this place! I’m not old enough to drink but they have really good teas and coffee. My sister and I make it our mission to go every time I come down to visit and we have never had a bad experience. The cats are very friendly and each have their own personality which make bonding with them sooo much more special. You can ask for catnip and use some of the cat toys around the store to entice the cats too you if you’re finding them to be a little shy. All they ask is to not pick them up which is more than easy to respect. Overall a great place to visit!

The staff were friendly and the kitties were hella cute! The other patrons were also enjoying themselves and we were all having a nice time. Great way to end my visit to Charleston! 😺

Kitties and wine and a match made in heaven. Friendly atmosphere and loads of kitties and toys to play with. You must make a reservation. The folks here are doing a great service to get the cats a forever home.

Love the mission of Pounce! I'm all for saving rescue animals and the fact they have such a high adoption rate is truly amazing.. wish I could have brought Bryson home with me the other day :) The employees working are friendly and can tell they care about the well-being of their cats. Check this place out if you're into kitties, coffee and/or wine!

I can honestly say that if I lived closer id be here every day. The staff is helpful and the cats are adorable. It's a good place to go if you are interested in getting a cat and want to see them like they would be in your home. Not locked in a cage. We need more places like this.

We absolutely loved our experience at the Pounce Cafe. I took my daughter for her birthday and she had such a wonderful time. The staff there were so unbelievably kind and attentive to us and really made my daughter's day feel even more special. It is abundantly clear that the Pounce Cafe puts the focus on helping cats in need find great homes. Every staff member knew the cats, their behaviors, their quirks, and their backgrounds. Based on how the cats interact with them, you can tell that the staff sincerely cares for the cats as the cats are so calm and happy around them. Thank you again for making my daughter's birthday that much more special and thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Found this cute little place on Google and had to go! So glad we did. Such a great experience. Our visit included a canned soda and an hour to play with all the kitties. Money well spent. Even better to know that the cats are adoptable! You can tell the cats are well taken care of and have an entire room to roam freely. Even with all the cats, the room was very clean. The bar area was separated with a door so the cats could not go in there. Overall would give this place a 10/10 and if we are in the Charleston area again, will for sure go back!

We had such a wonderful experience at the Pounce Cat Café! We chose the date night option when reserving a time slot which came with a bottle of wine and a dessert. Both were delicious and made the experience all the more special. We were able to hang out with several friendly cats that let us pet them and snuggle them. Some were sleeping which we expected but we definitely feel like it was worth it! The staff members were kind and knowledgeable of the kitties. The café does a great job of getting them adopted out which I always appreciate. Make reservations ahead of time as they seem very popular and fill up quickly. Totally a highlight of our visit to Charleston.

I visit the cafe TWICE during my four days in Charleston. The atmosphere was amazing. The kitties are what makes this place so special and therapeutic. Love it and will visit as many times as I can!
