A great park any time of year. And it’s only 3-4 min drive from the hospital, so it’s great if you have a wait. There is also a gallery/gift shop right next to it.

It has tennis courts, awesome playgrounds (one for 5-12 year olds, one for 2-5 year olds), all of the park benches are swinging benches, a boulder/rock climbing area), a music area with mallet percussion, a water front walking path, and a amphitheater. Beautiful views throughout. You can easily spend 30 minutes or many many hours there. Lots of tress for shade. It even had an AED on site for emergencies! I think there is also a concession stand, perhaps open during summer months. It’s also next door to the community center.

Park seems clean and well maintained.

Very beautiful park!! It was amazing to see a hydroplane practice landing on the river.
The playground had interactive musical instruments and it was well maintained. The dock was also pretty cool. you can see fish and even a small lobster swiing at the bottom. Would definitely visit again.

Really nice park! Great big trees with sprawling canopy cover, good playground for kids, well kept walk/bike path, great view of the Columbia River, nearby shops/restaurants, and even swimming areas in summer. Also a big floating dock for river boats, and fishing is allowed from the dock. Boat ramps nearby, and various rental services for paddle-powered watercraft.

Nice park. Pretty clean and well taken care of. Plenty of big trees, a splash pad for children, a playground, water access for swimming, kayaking and even boating, jet-skiing, etc. Access to various cruise ships and other water vessels and the like from several docks. Nice walking/bike paths. Benches and bench-swings, plus a concession stand and Hawaiian Ice. A few suspicious, possibly homeless, possibly substance abuse type people but they didn’t bother us. Overall we had a pleasant time this day and when we visited before. Would go back again.

I haven't seen any park more beautiful than it. Maybe I haven't seen enough number of parks?

By the Columbia river with clean water, it offers a lot of playgrounds for the kids and parents alike.

Great place to run and bike. Dog walking also a good option.

Such a wonderful place to play, picnic and relax. Plenty of trees provide shade when you want it. There are picnic tables a plenty, exploratory areas, slides jungle gyms and rock climbing boulders. There is even an elephant slide which has been around for at least a couple generations that brings back memories.

A charming and majestic park located in the heart of Richland. This park is perfect for outdoor activities, walking your dog, going for a run or bike ride, or simply just hitting pause on life and taking a breather.

A fun park and playground with access to boat launches, water access for boats, a swim dock, and a live performance venue. The Richland Community Center also backs up onto the park and is very easy to access. There is lots to do for the whole family; tennis courts, all sorts of playground equipment, and a wading pillow for the summer. I've grown up visiting Howard Amon park and it's always been a source of wonderful memories.

I go to Howard Amon park often. There's an awesome path to walk/bike/skate on, lots of area for picnics and activities, and my favorite pastime is sitting along the river and soaking up those healing river vibes. All in all, I really love this park and recommend everyone to come out here and play!

This is one of the best parks I've ever been to. It's great for all ages. There are smooth sidewalks for jogging, walking, and bicycle riding.

There are two playgrounds for children, one of which has a low-to-the-ground zip line.

There's a mini pool that's about a foot deep. I think they do swimming lessons for toddlers there.

Huge trees and mature landscaping is a plus for me.

There's a tennis court for those up to the fun and challenge.

The best part of it all is the river. The park borders the river and has small beaches spotted all along the length of the park. There's a dock and small pier.

Plenty of open, sunny spaces for picnics.

Love this park. This have a great music area for kids. They also have a vendor that sells shaved ice. There are always a lot of people having a great time. Bring a blanket for a picnic and have fun! We love riding our bikes on the riverfront also.

Beautiful for a walk outside, the walking path runs along the river. Bikes, longboards, amd strollers with pets can walk the path with ease. Lots of swinging benches to rest on amd watch the river & clouds go by. A playground structure for littles. Mature shade trees for hot summer days. Home to many squirrels & geese. In the summer you can rent a kayak or paddleboard from Northwest rentals, located right by parking area in 2 story building.

Very nice park and the grass and landscape is well maintained. There is a very nice sidewalk all along the park, and locations to have barbecues, power outlets, and plenty of benches. There are docks to go into the water as well.

This is a very great location for Pokemon Go and has a very lively community still active.
