I visit this area each time I'm in Charleston. It is always beautiful and the homes are nicely landscaped. The window boxes just draw you in! It is a great walk along the water and we've always felt safe wandering through the neighborhood and getting lost as we admire the beauty of the homes.

The Charleston battery area is a beautiful place to visit. The old homes are fantastic, and the owners keep them maintained in the 19th. century time period. When you walk the seawall, you can imagine the ships docked and sailors scurrying about, loading, and unloading their wares. If you visit, be sure to go to historic downtown and the market area, and take a buggy ride. You won't regret it!

Fantastic place to take a walk, along the bay. Well maintained path and beautiful surroundings. If you are visiting water front park, go to rainbow row and then few steps ahead there is this battery. It has nice historical park on the other side.

Beautiful place to walk along the bay, seeing the both the best things of Charleston: bay on one side, beautiful historical mansions on the other... with palm trees in between😍🌴

Beautiful but wish febcing wasn't blocked off for construction purposes. It really limited views.
