Really enjoyed our stay at your property over the weekend. I made a mistake on my reservation, Jamie called me to confirm and helped me change everything as needed, then checked us in the next day. She was so friendly and remembered our conversation the day prior. The next morning Chrystal helped us with suggestion on where to go for a walk and what we should make sure we saw. She asked us how we did when we returned! They valet guys were all great. It appears that everyone there loves their job - that is Big!! The hotel is super clean and located perfectly. Bed and pillows were comfy and great after a long day. Thank you - see you again in the future.

This hotel was an absolute delight to stay in for a couple days while in Savannah, nice and central to the city you'll find that once you've valeted your vehicle into their parking bay you can get everywhere on foot. The parking was a little confusing and once or twice I had to wait a few minutes for help at the valet stand but planning around this was a fine solution.

The rooms and the general common areas are all beautiful and in my experience were well maintained. While the downstairs bar isn't much (the menu sports like 7 items) the remaining space is used to provide lovely sitting areas to drink, chat or meet others. The smaller menu works a treat as well, everything was far better than I would have expected from a bar kitchen anywhere.

I did have a few experiences where my city view room was maybe too close to the fun of the city and loud music would wake me up, if I had to return I would probably not repeat that booking, assuming I'd get a better night's sleep. All in all it's a great short stay hotel, I look forward to returning in Summer!

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Florida and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Savannah and only steps from the riverwalk area.

Check-in / Parking is limited to valet service, there is no self-parking lot attached to the hotel. A pay parking lot is available about a block away. The attendants are very polite and took great care of our car. The morning valet even helped us with loading our bags in the car. There is no need to give them a cash tip, I found out later that you can do it virtually.

Lobby is very new, contemporary and classy. The front desk staff is warm, friendly and very accommodating. Always a nice touch is the warm cookie you're given after checking in. There is a small store adjacent to the front desk for light refreshments.

The room was very nicely appointed, complete with Crabtree & Evelyn bath products and a decent view of the downtown area. Had we gotten in earlier, we would've taken advantage of the location and explored the area, but we just wanted a meal and head to bed. The downside to its location is its location. Be prepared to hear all of the revelry going on outside until the wee hours of the morning.

After freshening up a bit, we went down to the hotel's bar. The restaurant has been closed since the pandemic and apparently there are no plans to reopen it. The bar offers a decent array of drinks and a small lounge menu, but it was just enough to satisfy our bellies. Macy the bartender was a character! Very bubbly, energetic and entertaining. As with most hotel bars, you're able to take your food/drinks back to your room.

We were so impressed with the hotel and the area that we plan to stop in Savannah again on our next trip to Florida and absolutely stay at this beautiful hotel!

As a Romance Concierge our clients love this hotel ! Great customer service. They really love the jacuzzi king suite !! With it being directly downtown we were able to create a special moment for them while they explored the city. Intimate Celebrations loved helping them celebrate.

Beautiful, spacious, and well furnished rooms. There are elements one would expect at a five-star hotel. The sheets and towels are luxurious. The hotel is in the center of everything but be warned, valet parking is $45 a night. A lot right next to the hotel is only $30. What next door doesn't give you in and out privileges but you can walk everywhere. Parking is at a premium.

We booked this hotel for a last-minute night in Savannah and it was perfect for a quick getaway. It is a quick walk down to the river where there are several shops and restaurants and we enjoyed strolling along the river after dinner. The hotel felt very clean, the lobby area is very welcoming, and the room was comfortable with a nice view. If you are sensitive to street noise I would suggest looking for something in a quieter part of the city, but it didn’t bother us to hear cars/people. One thing we did notice was that there was a very strong unpleasant smell at night which apparently comes from a local paper mill. Aside from that, we were very happy with this hotel and would stay here again.

We stayed Christmas Eve 2022. Christmas morning I enjoyed warm peaches and grits (not common in Canada) Our waiter in the hotel restaurant was very young, but he may have been the most polite gentleman I've met in my 48 years. I'd like to congratulate his parents. Everything about the hotel was positive.

It's a home away from home. Visit the bar have a few drinks and the food is delicious. Nice pool on the 2nd floor with a hot tub. Walking distance to most of the district.

Great location within comfortable walking distance to everything in the riverside/historic district! Room was clean, we had a great view and service was excellent. Parking is not included, so just be aware of that. There are paid lots to park in right behind the hotel, and there is also valet service for $45/night charged to the room. We opted for the valet service, it was very convenient and easy to use.

Loved it and some of the best sleep I've ever had. Valet parking is a bit much but the guys there were so nice and inviting. Great location and in walking distance to a lot of the restaurants and river street.

Excellent location! We walked to amazing restaurants and River Walk. Hotel staff is amazing and friendly. Valet is expensive and street parking choices were cheaper, however I advise to allocate for the $45 fee. Valet made us feel that our vehicle and belongings were safe. The valet staff here is amazing. The hotel is on a busy street however the noise level was medium and did not disturb our sleep. We had a beautiful view of the bridge. The location is everything. Short walk (5 minutes to Riverwalk and a flood of great food!) Breakfast muffins were so amazing. I do wish this hotel would offer more Kosher meat options for their complimentary breakfast. Other than that I have no negative compliments! Great Stay

Enjoyed a great 3 night stay at Doubletree. Location was fantastic for walking to the river and downtown locations. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and accommodating, especially the valet service. Car was brought quickly each time. And cold bottled water we were offered upon return was welcoming considering we visited in the heat of August. As we walked in we were hit with a fabulous fragrance and clean, luxury looking lobby. The elevators were quick. Our rooms were comfortable & spacious for 4 people. A few minor repairs/upgrades could be done in the bathroom but overall pleased with the condition of the room. Beds were comfortable and we slept well.

The staff is super amazing! The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are extremely clean. Food isn't too bad. The breakfast buffet is ok. Their biscuits are heavy, the potatoes could be grilled instead of deep fried, it makes them very chewy and not too tasty. The toasters do not toast, only warms your bread. I wasn't too thrilled when given the check foe the buffet and the waitress pointed to the tip ensuring that I knew there was an option to tip. You just don't do that.

Overall this was a great hotel with a beautiful lobby. The lobby had a wonderful smell throughout. The only issues I encountered was a disorganized valet. It took a long time to retrieve our cars. Other than that I will stay again.
