Wellington's Restaurant

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner for my birthday. This restaurant in Johnson City has a majestic yet romantic look and feel. It is so beautiful! Our dinner was amazing, everything we ordered was very, very good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of everything on the menu, and she helped me pick a drink to go with my dinner. I would definitely return!

My first time eating here and it did not disappoint! Food was excellent. Service was amazing. Atmosphere was beautiful! Highly recommend!

The deconstructed Wellington was excellent. My fillet was prepared perfectly The dessert was outstanding. The atmosphere was very nice. With exceptional decor. Our waitress (Alicia) was superb! Many times in upscale restaurants I find servers to be too stuffy. She was outstanding! Very professional and yet friendly and witty at the same time. I would definitely recommend this fine experience to anyone.

The food is delicious. I ordered the sweet potato beet sandwich. It was so delicious. There was a hint of sweetness from the added maple syrup and the natural sweetness of the potatoes along with the earthiness of the beets, topped off with a creamy gruyere cheese. So delicious 😍

If you order fries, definitely get a side of ranch. It's homemade and the dill really does shine through.

The smoked old fashioned was delicious but strong, so be prepared.

So good! We were exhausted from a long trip from Nashville and so relieved to settle in at a comfy booth. Our server Sandra made wonderful suggestions, and we had a fantastic meal! Shrimp and grits, filet mignon, and a delicious sweet potato and brussel sprouts salad.

Celebrated our anniversary with a lovely charcuterie board, the deconstructed Wellington, the crispy salmon & of course their delicious coffee & cherries jubilee flambé. Our waitress was so attentive to each dish. Love the ambience here. And their Christmas tree is absolutely beautiful.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Great choices on the menu not to mention that it was delicious. I went to dinner with a friend and we had drinks after. They have a great selection of wines and cocktails. It has an elegance about it, but they make you feel welcomed. We ordered the salmon and would suggest it to anyone.

Excellent cornmeal catfish and beef fillet. The wait staff was perfect ! So accommodating to my mom in a wheel chair . They sat us by the fireplace as well. Cocktails are top notch! Highly recommend for a great night out.

Amazing place. Truly 5 stars. Excellent service, people, food, drinks, atmosphere, and comfort. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will go back again. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full bar on site. Comfortable seating. Outside patio too.

Excellent breakfast in a traditional setting. Great service and food. I was surprised, as I would've expected the prices to be significantly more, especially after tasting the food. Even the staple items stood out. It's hard to nail a perfect scrambled egg, and the bacon was great. The gravy needed a little s&p but was otherwise delicious.

Visiting dear friends in town and they suggested Wellington. What a lovely place to enjoy dinner with friends! The service was great and the fillets were delicious and the dessert were equally delicious 😋

Servers very friendly, prompt. Food exceptionally tasty, cooked as ordered. Several nice menu choices. Nice if you want to dress up or dress casual.

Had a wonderful experience at Wellington’s. I sat at the bar, ordered the deviled egg appetizer and the sweet potato salad with salmon. Their 1749 Sauv Blanc was excellent as well! The bartender was busy but well attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Will definitely be back!

It’s a nice, relaxing atmosphere and the breakfast is large portions for a reasonable price. I had breakfast and it was quick and a good value.

Very nice dining experience inside the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City, TN. I had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was well prepared, done to order and very tasty. Breakfast was awesome! I was not prepared for the amount of delicious breakfast foods they brought to the table. Prices were very reasonable and the service was great.

The deviled eggs, charcuterie board, and baked brie were fantastic! I recommend their smoked old fashioned.
