Stopped in yesterday for lunch after getting stuck in traffic and just happened to read the sign on the side of the building that said Mexican food. I had no clue before this. You go in and order at the register and pick what you want off of the big menu board. I went with the Mexican Tacos 3 for $7.59. These are your typical street tacos with cilantro and onion and green or orange salsa on the side. The tacos were as solid as they come for the price. The tortilla were good and soft and didn’t break and the verde salsa was tasty. This will definitely be a stop for me from now on. Good food that’s fresh and fairly quick (you can call in your order ahead of time).

I really love how they packaged everything as well because they are a take out spot so by the time I got home everything was intact.

Stop in for the best Mexican fare in Charleston. Counter service store concept with a great neighborhood feel. Outstanding burritos and quesadillas! Grab a couple ponies for the walk home!

Had these scrumptious pork carnitas tacos Mexicano today. Yum! Super fast and we're still delicious after my 10 minute (at most) walk home. This could get dangerous.

I get food here regularly. The food is great especially for the price. The staff is always polite and the selection is pretty good considering you went to a convenience store.

I stopped here in desperation for a quick lunch on my way to an appointment. I wasn’t expecting much from a convenience store burrito, but I was so hungry. This was by far the best burrito I’ve had in South Carolina. And having lived in California and Arizona, the burrito rivals the best I’ve had in those places.

Moved to Charleston about 2 years ago. Pretty much been on the search to find the best steak tacos around since. I've devoured a handful of different places renditions, and Torres is a clear cut winner in the category so far! I'm actually heading there now... Haha

This is the spot. The tacos and burritos are just the thing for my authentic Mexican take out needs. Not a fancy place. Just a kitchen in the back of a convenience store. Taste alone is the five stars.

I had bought a ton of snack food and 2 Chili Dogs and all the fixings with Fries. Onions were very fresh. This was a good place to go to for lunch.

Taco salad truly deliciousness and get the shell separate so it doesn't get soggy just so....dam ...great
