Candlelight Inn & Suites Hwy 69 near McAlester

One of the best places to stay. Rooms are always super clean. The staff is amazing (shout out to our Lorrie ❤ we love you) the view from the gazebo area is absolutely amazing. We enjoy our stay every time. Highly recommend.

It is in such a beautiful location. We stopped by to get and idea of what kind if place it was for our wedding weekend and "wow!" The staff is super helpful and nice. The king bed rooms are bigger than pictured. The gazebo area is just right for those evenings to relax outside. Can't wait to stay.

Nice place to stay while passing through. Very reasonably priced as well. The rooms are a little outdated but they were very clean and it made a great place to crash for the night. For breakfast, they had a nice waffle machine and some other things to eat before we got back on the road. Felt like a very safe and secure location as well.

Was on my way home and a little to tired to complete the drive, read thru a few reviews this seemed to be a cost effective reasonable option. Was pleasantly surprised. Clean spacious rooms, friendly staff, inexpensive. Has a waffle maker :) if I was in the area again I’d stay again.

The rooms for very big, very clean. Little outdated could use a new mattress. But overall I would come back again. I love how big the rooms are and the service. Very, very nice definitely. We'll stay again there and bring more people with me.

Don’t be fooled by the price this place was immaculate from lobby to our room. We had a king suite which was very roomy. We couldn’t get much on the TV including no sports at all which was fine with me.
The guy at the frt desk as we checked in was very friendly. Breakfast was waffles, cold cereal, scrutinize boiled eggs.

We hunt near here and normally stay down the road. This place is much nicer, staff friendly and the continental breakfast was very convenient. We’ve found our new spot.

Update (a month later) - Second stay I met owner and he was kind, gracious and an all around good guy.

I have stayed at the Candlelight Inn at least 25 times over the last couple of years. The rooms are nice and the owners are great people. They have room for truck parking, and a BBQ you can use on the back patio area.

Perfect stop! Quick check-in, large, comfortable, and very clean. Convenient and safe place. I will likely stay there again on my way back.

Great room for really good prices. Room was very very spacious, clean and no smell. The A/C worked great and the Tv had good service. Shower was nice and front desk friendly for 3am. I did not use the booking app since it was 3am and I
was confused on the booking dates but the room was still considerably cheap. Without the app I believe it was $77 two people, one night. We did have a couch in the room.

We enjoyed staying at the Candlelight Inn. The staff and manager were exceptional. Our stay was for six nights. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was cleaned daily and towels and amenities provided. The room had air conditioning along with ceiling fans. A breakfast of hot or cold cereal, muffins, juice, donuts, milk, waffles, and coffee were provided. All the rooms are inside on one level. We would not hesitate for a minute to return. It was very economical as well. I would highly recommend this motel. It was great as well as the helpful staff. We were so happy to have found it. Thank you Candlelight Inn.

My husband is a trucker and stayed here during his 34hr reset. Although the rooms are outdated, they were very clean and the bed was very comfortable to my husband. Customer service was incredibly good as well. Anytime my husband will be in the area over night, he will be staying here instead of in the truck. The fact they had parking to accommodate our truck and trailer was an added bonus. Highly recommend staying here. I would also like to mention that their prices for how huge the room is, was phenomenal! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I'm planning a trip out there soon as well and we'll stay here instead of spending hundreds more for a different hotel.

We had a great stay. The staff a was pleasant. The rooms are very spacious. Yes, they are outdated, but that doesn't matter to us. We care more about quite. We loved that it was quite. No noise from neighbors. We could hear a little road noise, but it wasn't bad. The rooms were fairly clean. A little mold in the shower and the recliner needed to be cleaned. Again not a big deal. We would stay again.

Priced right. Room was clean and felt safe. Friendly service. They even had breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

We just had the most amazing stay! The vibe of this place was incredible, I am in love with the artwork pieces I stopped by so many of them! The housekeeping and staff were incredible, 10 stars ladies! 100% recommend!!!!

We stayed the night here after my car broke down just down the road. The staff was immensely kind, and really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Shawn took care of our reservation and even made sure our AC was on before we arrived (we’d been cooking out on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck). The inn is extremely charming and clean, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The whole experience made the reason we were staying much easier and less stressful. I’m glad that we stayed here and I would love to visit again!

Our stay was extremely pleasant! From the moment we checked in around 5:30 am on Saturday morning 1/15, we were completely taken care of by the friendliest staff. I lost the business card..i wanted to mention the manager by name. He was so nice. Our room was pristine-clean. The bed was plush. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. There was virtually no noise from the hallway even though there were plenty of guests...very quiet. The continental breakfast was great...loved the Belgian waffles!
