Audrey nailed it today. I’ve been so nervous about finding a new hair stylist since I moved to Charleston because I’m the most loyal hair client ever and that relationship takes trust and time. My first visit was 4 weeks ago and she really took her time trying to figure out exactly what I want - and sometimes I don’t even know - but she went above and beyond to get it right. I have super dark hair and the right shade of blond seems unattainable some days, but today I was even happier than the first visit. She works fast, but also takes her time if that even makes sense. I have already recommended her and would refer her to anyone!

Stella Nova Downtown is very much an upscale salon located at the Cigar Factory. They have a great selection of products as well as a wonderful atmosphere, which I was very impressed with, and the staff is very friendly. I was offered a glass of wine or a bottled water (served in a glass, which was a nice touch). Kyle, my hair designer, really listened to everything I said and knew exactly what I wanted. He went over everything that he was going to do before starting (which I very much appreciated) and the end result was an amazing haircut which I absolutely love! He gave me tips on styling my hair and recommended products that would be perfect for it.

Had my first facial with Deb last week and it greatly exceeded my expectations! My skin has never looked or felt healthier. Deb is immensely knowledgeable and creates a comfortable, relaxing environment. The experience was blissful from start to finish. World class service at very reasonable prices. Hospitable staff all around. I will be back!

I had my hair and makeup done by Sedona for both my engagement photos / bridal trial run and outcall service for my wedding. Sedona is a master!! For the engagement pics, we ended up with an unseasonably hot 95 degree day in May. My hair and makeup did not budge! I can say the same for the wedding. My hair, which never cooperates for me, stayed in place for over 10 hours. And my makeup, wow! It was a busy week and I did not get great sleep the night before, but with Sedona's magic, everything was and stayed flawless! So happy!!

I’ve been seeing Sarah Vroon for 5 years now and would never go see anyone else. She’s always consistent and does an amazing job each time. She knows exactly how I like my hair and she’s so patient when doing it! This past weekend she came in on her day off before my birthday so that I could feel like myself again! She spent four hours doing my hair and I couldn’t be happier with it. The before and after photos speak for themselves. Can’t recommend her enough if you’re looking for someone that specializes in blondes!

Debbie is the aesthetician at Stella Nova Downtown Charleston. Do you want to feel like you are her only client? That’s how Debbie makes me feel. She is so detailed with the consultation and what will work best for me. The passion Debbie has for this work is above and beyond anything in which I could ask. I leave feeling and looking beautiful! It is so relaxing to sit in her chair and let Debbie provide me with total care. I would not go to anyone else for my skin care!!!

Hands down, one of the best facial's I've ever had! Debbie Stokes, Senior Esthetician, is very thorough, informative, & really takes an interest in your skin and your needs. She sincerely cares about each customer & is really good at what she does. Also, I enjoyed the eye brow shaping & tinting, along with the lash tenting. I look forward to coming back again soon! I've been going to Stella Nova downtown for a little over a year now and can't say enough nice about it. Debbie is amazing with the waxing, she is quick (which is nice), but effective and does a great job.
Jay is just the absolute best! He always gets my color and cut spot on and when I asked him to squeeze in a Keratin treatment for me, he made it happen! Glad to have found my stylist and my place so easily when I moved to a new city.

Best downtown Charleston hair salon. Most professional and accommodating staff, great location with easy and free parking, Sarah is a genius with hair color and the rest of the staff are amazing as well. Received a wonderful facial from Debbie, my wife says she is the best person at waxing ever!

Stella Nova is first of all such a beautiful salon. The staff is on top of making appointments and make you feel welcome when you walk in the door! I've seen several different stylists now and they've all been so friendly and knowledgeable! My stylist even helped me pick a style and color perfect for me and my lifestyle. Needless to say this salon is a must!

I have been going to Barrelli Barber for quit some time now and when I saw they were opening a Stella Nova next door I was ecstatic to finally have a convenient place to go and get my eyebrows done after I get my haircut. I am just in love with how amazing Jenn is and how well she does my eyebrows just the attention to detail alone is worth more than she’ll ever charge you. Because of her I know get my eyebrows and lashes tinted and they could not look any better or anymore natural than they do when she’s done with them. Jenn is also amazing at facials I now come once a month to get mine done and the results after just two facials is impeccable. Jenn is hands down the best esthetician in Charleston. Go see her sometime and let me tell you you won’t be disappointed.

My mom, a long time client of Stella Nova West Ashley, asked me for another salon referral as her favorite stylist was unavailable and I told her that Stella Nova had a downtown location five minutes from her house. She said she had been going to the same person for 14 years and of course I told her then it’s time for a change as Stella Nova is known for their professionalism at all of their locations and I told her that as a team all of the stylists are happy to take the best care of every client and they are fine with you trying new people. I called up and made an appointment for her with a man named Evan whom I had heard wonderful things about and seen some of his work and needless to say my mother was absolutely delighted! She said the staff was very kind, caring and accommodating and she was happy to see the very strict standards they displayed concerning proper procedure, cleanliness, sanitizing etc. and everyone wore a mask as did she has it was a requirement. My mother is 80 And again felt very comfortable and don’t tell her I said this but she is a little bit difficult and they absolutely thrilled her so if they are able to make her happy I am sure they can make anyone happy :-) free parking conveniently located downtown on E. Bay St. at the old historic cigar factory she said she is now a customer for life of the downtown location and admitted she has been going to Stella Nova for 30 years! Wow and wow this is a long review but I had nothing better to do and I wanted to show my gratitude.

Deborah is one of the best waxers I have ever been to. She keeps you relaxed the entire time and makes the whole appointment fly by. Hair grows back in so soft without a single ingrown hair. She is worth every penny! Will definitely come back for a facial for my next appointment.

My favorite part about this experience was the fact that Austin’s understanding of what I wanted and how I liked to do my hair was absolutely spot on! This is an amazing hairdresser with a genuine ability to listen to and understand the clients needs. There was also a wonderful girl who was sort of like the welcome wagon. She washed my hair and brushed it and just got everything ready for Austin. Not only was she so interesting and genuine but she also gave the best scalp massage...Anyway Stell Nova always has been a great experience for me but this experience was beyond wonderful!

Highly recommend Sarah Vroon!! I've tried out so many salons in charleston trying to find someone I trust with my hair and felt so frustrated paying a ton of money to feel like my hair looked the same. So thankful I found sarah who does a great job and exactly what I'm looking for. I also started getting extensions from her after being hesitant from seeing work from other salons, but trusted her and am SO glad I did! I love my hair & will have a hard time ever going without the extensions now. She's also quick which I appreciate!

Selina was my stylist, she did a consultation before anything else, then told me exactly what she felt was the best plan for my hair. She did a great job, and i would highly rate this salon.

Let me start by saying I am low maintenance….like truly; however Stella Nova downtown (Sedona in particular) is AMAZING. I will keep coming back again and again because the quality of their service, the ambiance, and overall experience are that superior. Until I found Sedona a few years ago, I never saw the same stylist twice. She’s truly a master at her craft, and if you happen to be a bit, errr, lax, she won’t make you feel guilty. Do your self a favor (low or high maintenance you may be) and come here!!!!!!!
