Motel 6 McAlester, OK - South

I recently had the pleasure of staying at motel 6, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I checked in, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. They were not only professional but also genuinely kind and accommodating. Any inquiries or requests were met with a understanding and friendly response. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

The Gm and sweet other lady at front desk has done amazing. They got all the bad outta of here. They are doing a complete remodel I do have to say I will definitely be back. My room is always looks nice. My room is always clean. Definitely something you would come back to the general manager has helped us with our room the other sweet lady

It was a good stay. The response time was amazing. My room was spotless and the beds were so comfortable. Anytime I needed something the housekeepers/front desk attendants were very nice/friendly/ and helpful. 100/10 would stay again

I'll start by saying the best people work here! You couldn't ask for a more caring and kind staff. The management, people at the check-in desk, the cleaning staff, and the maintenance men are all so friendly and just amazing people, they made our stay awesome! The motel and surrounding grounds are Immaculately clean and kept, the rooms are nice and clean with comfortable clean beds and hot showers. The room we had was just remodeled and was extremely roomy, with an updated microwave and fridge. The TV was extremely nice and the internet was amazing and allowed the kids to play their Playstation online with no lag which is rare when traveling, there is awesome places in walking distance from the motel like the restaurant in front and a game room and bowling alley for the family behind the motel. Everyone in the family including the dogs enjoyed themselves and all around I can't say enough good things about this place or its employees. our vacation to McAlester Oklahoma was amazing, we will be coming back to stay again.

This Motel 6 location is great 😊 and all of the staff has given my daughter and I great customer service each time we have stayed here. The General Manager is Awesome and Very Knowledgeable of the business.

I would recommend this motel to anyone. The staff is incredibly friendly and is always there to make u feel right at home. They are also pet friendly which is a big plus.

Newly renovated, I have not stayed here yet.. but a friend is employed here and I have seen the massive improvements! 5 stars for the visual assessment! I'll update if/when I get the chance to spend the night

Need a little updates but overall it is a pleasure to stay here.
All the walls have been decorated with mostly Elvis Presley.
Even the shower curtain has Elvis.
I enjoy the atmosphere.
Low price.
Bring your own pillows. Their pillows are flat small.

Excellent Place to stay. Affordable price with continental breakfast. Very old (1950)and themed hotel. They have maintained the hotel so well doesn’t seems to be that old structure!!. Can be located next to the highway. Rooms were tidy. Hotel front desk were sweet and calm. All staffs were eager to interact, guide and help. Has a vending machines in the premises. A swimming pool too. Feels like home away home.Best and safe place to stay.

Remodelled from happy days motel. Rooms are on the small side without a lot of amenities. But very clean, friendly staff, affordable and very convenient for my work location

Staff was super helpful. They provided a pack and play for our baby to sleep in. The room was nice and the AC worked great. The only complaint I had was that the water for the showers wasn't as hot as I like it but it was warm enough. The Continental breakfast was good. We went to the diner nearby and it had good hamburgers and chicken fried steak. All in all I thought it was a good hotel and was a good price.

Happy Days hotel is great, Very clean and all the history items on the walls is so cool. Do yourself a favor and stay here, well worth the good rates. Angel's diner out front if your hungry. Perfect. Even truck parking in back. You are missing out if you don't try this hotel in McAlester, Oklahoma. I will be back. Rick C.

It was a good hotel. Everything is clean. The pillows were old and not comfortable though. They come and clean and make your bed if you stay more than one night. It was kinda hard to get to the location. I would have a better entrance. The theme of the hotel was Elvis. Those who love him will love this hotel. Your surrounded by him. 😉

This place is absolutely adorable! The interior is older but it has amazing charm! Older doesn't always mean "trashy" and this is absolutely the case with this place. The price was awesome and the beds were comfortable! The staff were very friendly! Everything is covered in the old classics and it offers a comforting nostalgia. Our room was covered in James Dean memorabilia. The halls are decorated with Elvis, Lucille Ball, Marilyn Monroe, and many of the other classics. They offer a modest complimentary breakfast consisting of homemade waffles, bagels, cereal, coffee and juice. If we are ever coming through McAlester again we will be stopping here! We were very pleased with our stay!

My husband and I have stayed here a few times on business and it has always been a nice stay. Cute retro hotel and the staff here is very nice and helpful. The beds are comfy and they have a decent breakfast. Clean rooms . Angel's Diner is a quick walk across the parking area with great food and pleasant staff.

Happy Days Hotel is very clean and affordable. Kids stay free with adults. They have a fun atmosphere, great 1950's music themed decor, comfortable beds, a clean, well taken care of pool, and friendly staff. The diner inside the hotel has a continental breakfast with waffles and cereal, but if you chose, the diner next door called Angel's Diner (also 50's themed) has fantastic food. They also do breakfast all day. Their pancakes are huge and taste fantastic! And the best part is that they are both easy to get to and are right off the highway.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was uniquely designed and gave a homey feeling. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this for a place to stay.
