Golden Boy Coffee & Cocktails

I often go to Golden Boy to get the most delicious Matcha Latte in the world. I get it unsweetened with hemp milk and light ice which makes for a perfect, tasty latte. They make it right every single time; I've never been disappointed after leaving-- well except for one time when I forgot to ask for hemp milk. They do karaoke on Mondays until 1a.m which is very fun to go to with friends and an open environment.

Tried their mocha latte and the cortada - both were great. They will bring your order to your car (curbside), which has been a great option during this pandemic.

Updating my review because I just went for the first time inside & tried their 9 spice chai. The inside of this place is so lovely, quite an experience! I want to return & try more of their menu & enjoy an event there! What a great spot!

The honey bear drink is so delicious. It tastes like a teddy graham bear. Vegan options with oat or hemp milk. Very nice ambiance and lighting. Quiet inside, nice outdoor seating. They have tasty looking bakery items. Even though they don’t bake some of the vegan options for sale, they are delicious and I would recommend the one I got in my photo (caramel waffle). A very good calm relaxing aura about the place.

Golden Boy has the best coffee! This locally-owned coffee shop also has a location in Plano. The baristas are always so nice, and the atmosphere is super relaxing and chill. I always like to try something new from their seasonal menu.

I came to this coffee shop for a meeting with my realtor and it did NOT disappoint. My wife got the Golden Boy Latte (I think that's what it's called) and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the mocha latte and it is easily the best mocha I have ever had. It's smooth and simply amazing. I've heard really great things about their other coffees as well, so I intend on trying many more options.

The baristas are friendly and knowledgable- if you don't know what to order, they will help you figure out what's best for you based on what you like. They have a lot of snack options that I intend to try next time I visit. What a great atmosphere and great experience over all!

They are still here just a new name - The Never Sleep. Same staff, same yummy food and coffee drinks, just as cute. Website and phone are down but don't let that stop you from trying. Thanks for getting me through school the past 2 years y'all 😘♥

For many months (and a couple years) I would go here and get my afternoon chamomile tea. It was kind of a zen experience. I would read and write, or draw. I loved this space. It was transcendental and beautiful. Things have changed since, but I would like to thank Sarah who was always a sage of a person, and K.C. who always made me smile. They were incredibly hard workers who deserve esteem and recognition. You should visit and have a spot of herbal tea for me. Things change and love is real. Peace

Small coffee shop/bar in Denton with wifi. I come here sometimes to do my homework and study because they stay open pretty late in the evening. Very clean and nice staff. Drinks are always good. My go to drinks are the golden latte, chia tea, and matcha green tea. Eventually i will try every drink on the menu.
Update: Tried the mocha and it was the best mocha I've ever had!

Atmosphere is everything here. Everyone is accepted, looks lovely inside on top of service and drinks/treats are yummy. Always get a cold coffee with a scone. Must try a scone!

One of my top go-to coffee shops. The dim lighting allows me to study here for long hours without getting a migraine (light sensitivity). Owner is friendly & I love the options here!

Always friendly staff, clean, super short wait (although I never mind waiting), and the coffee’s GREAT. They also host awesome community events all the time. Current and upcoming Denton local businesses should take note, this is a spot that’s doing everything right!!

Also bonus points for awesome location & the fact that they do breakfast tacos and sandwiches, in addition to having baked goods.

I really dig the vibe here. They've got a cute patio outside with a few lounge chairs. I only got cold brew but it was really good. Desserts and pastries are sublime and made in house.

Fantastic espresso and friendly service! What more could one want? I got the Americano so I could really taste the flavor of the espresso by itself. It's very smooth and just a hint of sweetness.

Easily the best coffee shop in town. LOVE THIS PLACE. Best baked goods, coffee is excellent, atmosphere is chill and spacious. Don't come here if you're a hater.

Super cute coffee shop with great lattes! Vegan options include hemp and oat milk. They also offer decaf espresso which is nice, and the people there were very friendly. Bummed they didn't have vegan snack options but will definitely be back for the coffee.

The honey bear latte is DELICIOUS! I got it last week and haven’t stopped thinking about it. The staff are so nice everytime I come in and I can’t wait to use the patio area when it’s cooler out.

This place brews Black & White Roasters beans! They are well known for incredible quality blends and single origins. The baristas and owners are awesome people. With the stage room next door, this place is really big to find a comfortable spot.

I think they employ some of the nicest human beings in Denton. I don't live far from there so I'll def make them a regular place I visit.

I had their Honey Bear Latte and the Lavender Margarita. I don't even like honey and the latte was delicious; marg was spot on. Can't wait to come back and try the food and more of the cocktails!
