The food is always hot and fresh, and the service is speedy and kind. I never have any issues.

Love ♡ El Charro. My husband really enjoys the Burger with Guacamole and Jalapeños. I really enjoy the Pollo Palapa. Add pineapple, ask for flour tortillas. Margaritas are good and strong. It's just great food.

We've heard a lot about The Mexicana burger. It didn't disappoint us. Probably one of the best burgers in La Follette. Always great friendly service, and fresh and hot.

I cannot say enough about how good this place is. Mexican food with an extensive menu. We tried the potato skins with fajita chicken and they were delectable. The nachos were fantastic. We have so many reasons to keep going back to EL Charros's.

We patronize this restaurant every week and have been very happy with each visit. Atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. Everyone that works there makes every group feel very special. Service is excellent and food is delicious.

My buddy told me about this place and I'm glad he did. The prices are about the same as other Mexican restaurants nearby and the food is great. It's also a lot cleaner than a more popular Mexican restaurant in town. Although it's not as big.

Very authentic Mexican made with just the right amount of flavor. The salsa has a mild kick and needed nothing to spice it up. The service is quick and the beer cold. She enjoyed the margaritas that you could taste the booze. We will make another stop next time in LA Follette.

We stopped in here after riding the trails and had a good lunch. The mini flautas were tasty and my burritos were really good as well. The prices were reasonable and service was good. This is a good place to come in town and eat if you are riding the trails.

First-time visit and it was excellent! The guacamole is the best I have ever tasted and love the salsa! Got the Monday special which was chicken fajitas and a free drink they were amazing! No wait time friendly staff everything was wonderful!

The food was awesome I had a burrito with rice and I tell you it was the best I have ever eaten it was plenty for me for dinner and breakfast.
The atmosphere was weird and I did not base my rating but however just a thought as a African American in lafollette Tennessee even at this restaurant you are definitely looked at differently even though their was a Caucasian at the register she removed herself and a Mexican came to help with our order why was this? . There were people eating at a table and they kept starring as if they had seen a ghost again I will not judge the food based upon other people actions but gave me the creeps and also left me with a different vibe.

Delicious ultimate molcajetes. Every once in a while I miss San Diego and hearing Spanish, this place gave me a piece of home. Nopales (cactus), fried cheese, steak, carnitas, chicken, and shrimp, with entire onions and jalapeños. Rice and beans were good. Chips were good, salsa was mild and horchatas are super sweet, but I think that’s what people like around here. Margaritas were great, you can definitely taste the tequila.

Great food! Everything we ordered was delicious..went the first time , second , third and I'll keep going because they got the best Authentic Mexican Food around...I recommend this place to anyone that would like to eat Mexican Food!! Yummy!

Very fast service and the food was absolutely delicious 😋

IDK if this qualifies as a secret menu item, but what you want to do is order 3 "street" steak tacos with a side of queso cheese.
Pour some of that cheese on the street steak tacos and enjoy.
When you're done go outside and stand around kicking gravely in the parking lot while smoking a cheap cigarette.

Great, delicious food at great prices.

Placed a to go order in person and waited only 15 minutes during the dinner rush. Isabel helped me at the counter and was very polite despite there being a lot going on. The line went quickly and my order was ready in no time. Portions were large, food was seasoned well and we will definitely be back again! All staff was wearing a mask which I think is very considerate as a neighborhood restaurant. Thank you El Charro for a delicious, speedy weeknight meal for my family!
