Hollingsworth Meat Market

Small friendly meat market. Visited from out of town. Had a vacation rental in the area, Meat was very fresh. Visited a couple times while we were in the area. Nothing fancy, just fresh good meat. A hidden gem. Bought pickle loaf, liver loaf, roast beef lunch meat and ground sirloin, all were great! Will be going back next time we are in town.

Went to Hollingsworth to get meat for Labor Day weekend. The staff was beyond friendly and wonderful to interact with. We went to the meat counter and they guys were super helpful. The meat is a great price per pound, and very fresh. Staff at checkout was also super friendly. I will definitely come back and get my meat there whenever I’m in town.

This meat market is now on our must shop store list.
Quality fresh meat packaged to order at a great price and to top it off, wonderful personable people all the way from the butchers to check out to taking out your buggy and unloading it into your vehicle. Last but not least, they have the absolute best bacon there is!

Great place..meat is excellent..employees friendly..love this place. Happy to be back near it.

My first time here and I absolutely love this place. It takes me back to when I was a kid, and stores was so friendly. This is a family owned store I believe. But they treat the customer very nice, weither they're from the community they're in there. Or from somewhere else, I absolutely love this place. And they have a butcher shop in the store, looking at the fresh meat,they were cutting. Made the think of eating some of the steaks and other things they have. Still makes my mouth water. I recommend that you visit the nice people. They're located in Lafayette and pay them a visit .

Bought a beautiful brisket here. The employees, and staff very nice and polite. Not fake polite either, genuinely nice people. Need more places like this.

Best store in town. Little high on the prices. But I guess everything is these days. They still let folks have a charge account. But that isn't for everybody just some ole faithful customer's. I love it. My Grandmother had a charge account there years ago.

Hands down the best meat in the area. We really love the fresh made burgers with bacon mixture. The steaks are always hand cut to the thickness you desire. Super friendly staff. They also have all the staples at the store...Fruits, veggies, cereal, milk, eggs, etc.

To start off, the meat is worth every penny, the staff is very welcoming and kind every time I visit. The bag boys even unload you're groceries from the cart and bag them. They even go as far as putting them in your car, no where else offers that service. The darker skinned boy was very helpful and kind when doing so with a smile on his face. Absolutely recommend Hollingsworth

Great place for some fresh meat!

I have shopped there for years. They have the best people there to help you. The meat Dept has a crew of guys that just can't be beat. They are always ready to cut your meat the way you want it. Meat is always Fresh. Everything is fresh....They bag your groceries and .put them in your car.It's like one big family.

The best little grocery in town. The meat is the best quality of anywhere around, I won't even buy steaks anywhere else. The service is old fashion but perfect. No other store has bag boys who put my groceries on the counter then take them out to my car, that is great. The best thing is the butcher knows my name.

Very clean & clutter free even though it is a small grocery store.. Excellent employes willing to help as soon as you go thru the door. Meat is cut & wrapped for you while you watch, cutters are well kept & wear gloves & masks. The shelves are well stocked & clean also. We travel 1.5 hours because this store always has the cheese that we use. Someone always ask if you need help while shopping & they will even empty your buggy then put groceries back after bagged.

Best place for fresh cuts of meat. You can choose the thickness for your steaks.

The best meat around! Probably one of the only true butcher shops for many miles. If you're here visiting, don't buy your meat anywhere else. Your grill will love it, and so will your taste buds!!

We were in town on vacation and went in to pick up a few items we had forgotten. This was a nice small family ran market. Had everything we needed and more. This place was also accessible by sxs which made it convenient for us as our trucks had large trailers attached to them.

I buy all my meats at Hollingsworth Meat mkt., It's always fresh and alot less fat and fillers. The employees are clean, polite and well mannered, I recommend them to anyone, some of the best and tender steaks I have ever eaten, they even carry your groceries out for you, like the good ol' days.
The store is clean. Their fruits and vegetables also very fresh and good taste ,(top quality) always. I honestly have never gotten any food of any kind that even looked a little bad. I will continue to shop there. Also instead of waiting in line due to my health problems I called ahead of time gave them an order for sandwich meats told them what I needed and how I wanted it sliced, and how much in each package, when I got there it was ready just like I had ordered.I thank each and every employee for all they do, I do recommend anyone go there to shop.

Friendly staff, was greeted as soon as we came in. Produce looks excellent, pricing o/k for a small market, meat selections excellent and all good meats
