This place is amazing. The bathrooms are clean, and have their own private shower ROOMS. The pool area is always clean and you can look out at the lake while swimming. The staff, especially Vietta, are always polite and professional and will go out of their way to help you. There is a place to eat, they have an ice cream shop for the little ones (and the little ones at heart). I have visited Mountain Lake several times over the last year and have never had any problems with anything. Highly recommended.

Rented a boat here last Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Booking was easy, the staff were courteous, everything was clean and assistance was available if needed. When we returned to the dock, there was someone to meet us and help moor the boat and unload it. Very impressed. Will definitely rent here again!

I can't give a perfect review of this campground marina, because I usually stay as a guest. But as a guest, my stay here is always phenomenal. The guests are usually friendly and the staff are super helpful.

About 1/2 the campground has permanent trailers with full hookups. I do not know the prices for a temporary stay. The guest restrooms, showers & pool are locked now because of some uninvited guests in 2016.

The marina is free to use as a guest, but you may have to pay a fee for large watercraft such as pontoon boats or schooners. Residents own, and most do not rent out the houseboats or other trailors here. But there are some for sale in the home office.

There is almost No signal here for Sprint phones, but you shouldn't have much tech with you anyway. The views are breathtaking, the air is clean, and the water is warm in the summer.

I have been here for two months and have absolutely loved every minute. This is a beautiful campground with a lot of great people. Mrs. V in the office is just one of the best people you will ever meet. I will certainly be back if ever this way again. Come stay here you will love it.

Friendly and polite staff members, who went above and beyond as they filled our gas tank, helped moved our boat to a less busy area, and made sure other watercraft did not get too close to our boat. Tried the burgers both regular and spicy (tasty and good value), and next time will try the ice cream. If you enjoy spicy food, try the spicy burger and be sure to ask for extra jalapeƱos and spicy sauce...could have used a little extra for my taste buds. We'll go back again.

This is a really cool dock. The food is really good. The burgers and pizza will definitely hit the spot. I have lived in the area my whole life and have never been to this dock before which is a shame. I honestly didn't even know it existed which is strange

This is truly “The Best Kept Secret” of Norris Lake! 2020 was our first year here and we have found our second home for spring, summer, and fall. The Staff is amazing, and attempt to accommodate anything you need.
We have made some great friends already and look forward to our second year!

Only negative thing I can say is the cellular service is very, very spotty. And there is no Internet provider that is solid around. The campground no longer has public WiFi! This is really the only downfall.

I dig the outdoors and the water. Here we have a bit of both; however most of the people enjoying the outdoors do it indoors(RVs, trailers, cabins, or houseboats) on the property. The only folks that were around happened to be the children of permenant residents, showing off on golf carts or their parents doing the same for their friends.
It's a gorgeous area for sure, and I'm quite saddened that there weren't many cars/trucks in the area during my time there. I hope to visit again in the future to take full advantage of the area.

This is a wonderful place to live, boat, and camp. While the location and marina are great, a business is not only defined by the services and product it provides. It’s also defined by the people that represent it. The people here are “first class”, genuinely friendly, and do their best to make sure you enjoy your stay.

I highly recommend Mountain Lake Marina and Campgrounds! My family and I had a blast and stayed in the campgrounds for the weekend. I was looking at a couple different locations but settled on Mountain Lake when I saw how reasonably priced it was! The general manager Paul was very helpful with everything as well!

I can't say enough good things about this place. I grew up just outside the campground. I've lived within a half mile of it all my life and it goes without saying that I spend a lot of time down there. Its went through a whole lot of changes over the years but it's only gotten better. My little boy and I spend a lot of time there and we have always and will always enjoy every moment at Mountain Lake Marina and Campground.

Second year in a row that we rented a pontoon boat for a beautiful day on the water. Vietta, Paul, and AJ were great to communicate and interact with. Great boat with a tube and everything we needed. Can’t wait to go back!
