This is a really nice place to take the kids and have a nice walk. My expectations were exceeded and this was our first time there.

The habitats and trails were all very well maintained. The welcome center was very nice and the person at the front desk was knowledgeable and nice.

I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for something to do for the morning. I saw several people with strollers too, so I think it's great for all ages.

If you have toddlers, you have to go to Toddler Tuesday at either 10 or 11! Ms. Seashell leads the class featuring the animal of the week with a song, book, and activity. We live locally and have gone every week for over a year. We have learned so much from her and she is so personable to every child!!

I also bring sunscreen and bug spray just in case. Wear comfortable tennis shoes and a stroller for kids because total it’s a 2 mile trail.

I can’t recommend this place enough!! It’s my favorite place to go with my toddler and the nature is so beautiful too.

My family and I have visited twice and we love it. The staff hace been welcoming and knowledgeable. My son loves looking at all the animals and having free space to run, play, and explore. Multiple spots to sit and eat too. Bringing a sack lunch is recommended. It's a beautiful trail with animals and beautiful scenery to see during the walk.

This place is a gem, some fine work is being done here by some great folks. We traveled from western Canada and made the stop. Lots of animals to see, full loaded gift shop, tons of signs with information about where the animals came from. Allot of love has gone into this place. The staff were great. One in particular who was managing the desk inside the building was gracious and showed us a baby Alligator. My wife was in absolute awe. She is a lover of all animals and it meant the world to her and I. We will be making a donation to this and anyone one who visits should consider the same as the entry fee in my opinion is beyond reasonable. I understand it's intent is education and conservation but it could be our to use for some facilities maintenance. We will be back for sure. It's a must do on a visit to Savannah.

Every few months my two best friends and I meet to share a weekend. We did some really fun stuff in Savannah. I was prepared for the Wildlife Center to be a sort of sad place with rescued but unhappy animals. Nope! I was impressed the minute we drove up. The building and grounds are just lovely; the building itself has a cool history, built as a retirement facility by the railroad union for their members. The animals were very well cared for; the snakes were just gorgeous, and the staff were friendly and quite helpful. The variety of animals was impressive; the walks were beautiful and manageable even for folks with disabilities. It seemed there were places for the animals to be away from people or be out close and interact with people. It’s almost always hard to see animals in captivity, but since these creatures were rescued and can’t be released, we were all glad to see they were so well cared for. You’ll see bison, wolves, panthers, bobcats, the aforementioned snakes, many fowl, possums, alligators and more. We had a terrific of time. Did I say admission is only $5? Check it you!

This is a really nice place to take a stroll. The habitats and trails were all very well maintained. The welcome center was large and the staff were nice and knowledgeable. The day we went it was quite chilly, the only thing we didn’t get a glimpse of was the alligators. For only $5 there is a lot to see.

This place was super affordable and the kids had a blast. Make sure you bring your walking shoes though it's definitely a healthy walk/hike along the trail.

Animals were a fun sight to see! It is a lot of walking but worth it. Very quiet and enjoyable day. It took my husband and I 1 hour to walk the trails, visit the store, and visit the indoor exhibits. I appreciated the clean bathrooms on the trail and in the main building!

We really enjoyed our time at the wildlife center. It is located in a beautiful space. Admission is a minimal cost for adults and youth. Be prepared to walk for a couple of hours if you are going to see all of the animals.

This place was so much fun when exploring Savannah. So many walking trails through beautiful trees and so many exhibits for a small zoo. It was beautiful and fun with my little kids. My 4 year old did great with all the walking and it took us about 2 hours to go through. It was inexpensive and a fun way to explore with children.

I took my older teens, my 10 and under nephews and my sister. We all had a great time and loved seeing the various animals and plants even though it was kind of chilly. If you take littles be sure to bring a stroller and take lots of pics.

We had an amazing experience here for our first time coming, I highly recommend!! This place is beautiful and so peaceful. To me it was more of a nature trail walk. Most of the animals we were expecting to see were either hiding or sleeping in their dens the day we went. But only $5 for adults?? Totally worth it! It was still entertaining to walk through! Make sure you wear a comfortable outfit & comforting shoes because it’s about a 2 hour walk if you actually take your time.

Very enjoyable park. It’s about a 2 hour spot if you take your time and walk every trail and be patient to see animals in each area. Place is well maintained with a good variety of wildlife. It’s not a zoo so don’t expect a great view of every animal. They try to mimic the natural environments so animals may be sleeping in dens and other hiding spots. Seems like a popular spot to bring young kids and strollers.

We've been coming here since our kids were little, and now we are bringing our grandson. I've also brought several classes on field trips. No matter the reason, I've always had a great time.
