Gregg and his team are great. When I searched for STL realty their company was the first on the list for stl-highrises. I was kinda skeptical at first only because I was new to the area.but after watching Gregg's youtube channel showing Tours of different lofts I felt he'd be the guy to help me accomplish what I was looking for. The HSG team were personable to answering questions and communicated very well explaining each process thoroughly... Thank you all for helping me start my next journey .

This group helped me lease a loft downtown about 2 years ago. I waited until leaving the loft before writing this review. The owners seem nice. Though the young real estate agents they have working for them are very unprofessional. I write this so people have the info. When you get a loft thru them. You give them the first months rent for their commission check. They then try and charge you a few hundred for admin fees. This is unethical. Those fees should come out of the 1500 commission check they received. In most lines of business that would be illegal to do. I did bring this up to the owners and they kindly removed the fee. Though after this is when their younger agents started showing their professionalism and stopped returning calls. Kaitlynn was the one I worked with. Also I left my loft after a year and a half. When I moved in it was very dirty. Lots of nails in the wall. When I left this group advised my landlord to take 450 from my 1500 deposit for those nails. I said I would take it to court and it was reduced to 300 but still. That's appalling. My landlord was a nice guy though I will add. In summary the owners are nice I just find the admin fees unethical and thought people should know that upfront before using the company to look for a loft.

This place rents anything to anyone. I have heard and seen MANY issues within downtown because of this company. They take the first months rent and then the renters get kicked out of the building for breaking rules and harassing other tenants within a couple of months. They don't show an ounce of professionalism or vetting of prospective tenants. Companies like HSG are the reason that downtown is so hard for people to want to live here. They have NO ethical fiber, and are completely 2-faced. I own a loft downtown and was thinking of selling. I spoke with a realtor from the office who gave me false information about it currently being a "buyers market" and would need to try to ask for a below average price for my loft. But when I placed 3 offers on properties AT ASKING price, I lost all 3 because the homes sold for THOUSANDS over asking.

I live in a building downtown and have been a renter/ an investment buyer/ condo owner for 3 years in St. Louis. I came to St. Louis because my parents and family were all born here and after 20 years in Dallas I wanted to bring investment and good faith to the City and help in redevelopment efforts. I was told that my building was exempt from filing permits because it is considered an industrial building. So I hired Donald Chaote "Donnie" to do work that he assured was "grandfathered in". Unfortunately- I have had to reverse and remove all adjustments that were never permitted- and I'm stuck with the bill on both ends. Then I just learned that Suzanne Hunn of HSG reported my home, where I live with my 4 kids, to the City inspector in an attempt to condemn my unit for over crowding. Well I am from Texas- where you tell a person to their face if you have a problem. I moved here to create a living situation for others in downtown but I'm stuck now doing all kinds of construction which is certainly more trouble to HSG tenants. (My building is half tenants and half owners). I see HUGE IMPLICATIONS FOR ETHICS VIOLATIONS. The Missouri and realtors ethics boards has been contacted about this and I am following up with a police conversation in which Suzanne is fighting police as a club party gets shut down and later evicted from the building.
