Yummy food.

Came here on a weekend visit to Savannah on St Patrick's Day. We tried chicken beef and veggies. It was so yum and fulfilling.

The presentation was nice and the service was quick. Loved it.

The place had a decent amount of parking even during busy hours. The seating itself was nothing to write home about but no complaints either.

The food was 15-20$ a dish for lunch

Hands down the best steak sandwich I’ve had in my life. As pictured, I left nothing. This place is great! Bathrooms are very clean and the staff are very professional and friendly. I got the steak sandwich and a miller lite for 20 bucks. Can’t beat that. 5$ millers. Everyone I was with finished everything on their plates.

I’m no expert on Cuban cuisine, but everything seemed entirely authentic and delicious. The lime mojito was the best I’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the sampler appetizer and the Cuban sandwich. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive.

This Cuban restaurant had great food, great live music, and helpful staff. We started with the Cuban sampler recommended by our server. Definitely shareable! I am so glad that I tried Ropa Vieja for the first time. The food was so flavorful . The yucca fries are phenomenal! Served hot crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They have a creamy texture as you eat them. I ate mine dipped in the tomato and vegetable sauce from the ropa vieja. So terrific! The food is definitely quality and the portions large. P.S. THE BEST lime mojito ever, followed by a Cuban coffee. You will NOT be disappointed.

In town for a quick getaway, decided to stop in and try some Cuban food. Not having anything to compare it to I would say it was good. Not sure I would go again but that is more of a personal preference, nothing against the restaurant. If you like Cuban food you should def try this place.

Incredible drinks and super tasty food! Also, our bartender was on his game and had our drinks ready in their to-go cups before we even knew it. Gotta love that about Savannah. 😉

Went out for Italian food but ended up here instead (call it a hunch this place was gonna be good). My gut was correct. Everything was amazing. Got the Cuban platter for appetizer. Wife got churrasco and I had the Plato Mixto and my son had the 1/4 pollo. Sooo much food. I got two more meals out of mine. Not to mention fresh juice and dulce de ledge empanada for dessert. The interior is also very nice and they have live music sometimes. Will definitely go back. Oh and shout out to the yucca root for also being delicious.

Thinking of doing something different on a Friday night, stop by for a cocktail and dessert, while a jazz trio plays. It always looks like an excellent plan and it was. This place always fits good.

Never had Cuban food before and it was delicious. They give a so much on your plate. that you probably could split it with someone. The staff was friendly as well.

Stopped by here on a whim for the first time. So glad I did. Ordered a full dinner to go and even after a 30 minute walk to the house, food was AMAZING! I can only imagine how even better it would be sitting down at the restaurant. Hopefully I’ll get to do that sooner than later in the future. Was taken well care of even while just waiting for the order. Inside of the restaurant looked great and was set up for live music. I grew up in Miami, FL and can vouch for the authenticity of the cuisine. Easy recommendation.

So I'm a huge Cuban cuisine fan and Rancho Alegre DID not disappoint. Their freshly baked bread was amazing and the Cubano made with it was decadently delicious. Their sampler was a great way to try out a number of dishes. The frozen sangria was a hit with my 21 year old nephew. The restaurant is clean and well organized. Lots of locals coming in for tasty to-go beverages. You have to check this place out. It's a gem.

Such good food! The atmosphere was great and the service was amazing!! We will definitely eat there again if we go back to Savannah! It's delicious and reasonably priced and tasted fresh. Definitely a must try when in Savannah! Even the sodas from different countries were a great addition!

If you’re a Cuban from Miami and looking for something delicious and authentic, this is the place for you. Competes with your regular Cuban restaurants in Miami like Sergio’s and Casavana! Great food always!

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The service is great. The servings are plentiful, but also so delicious I'd devoured the Cuban Sampler AND the Chuletas before I knew it. The chops were seasoned and grilled to perfection. I also loved the sweet plantains.

It's rare for me to give five stars for food, service and atmosphere all to the same place at the same time. But this place got it! I've been from Miami to New York to California to Washington State having mojitos. Growing up in Miami, I never thought that there would be a place that could meet my expectations for mojitos until I came to this little restaurant in Savannah, Georgia! The food was great. We had some rolano, a half Pollo and the sample platter. All of them were good but like I was saying earlier I can't say enough about the mojitos!

We had a great time at Rancho Alegre. The menu is vast! Anything you could possibly want. We tried as much as our belly’s could fit! The food was delicious. The staff was friendly- family oriented. This place is good for families, dinner out with friends, lunch etc. The drinks were delicious. I recommend!

I loved the dishes and the atmosphere. I had the Plato Mixto. It was more than enough for two meals. I loved that they have some parking behind the building, which is hard to find in downtown. My only complaint would be that I had to ask for a refill twice before getting it. I still left a nice tip since she was extremely patient with my friend and I,0 who were too busy catching up to look at the menu.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. This was an unexpected favorite! My wife & I enjoyed a dinner of really tasty and interesting food - with good vegetarian options with enough protein from the beans. We both really liked the premium Margaritas. A bonus was the live music! They had a talented jazz trio that played interesting, creative music and was the perfect volume. Sometimes I found myself just watching them and not eating at all - like when they played an original song from the bass player; Other times we could talk and the music did not drown out our voices. A perfect evening in a restaurant filled with other people who appeared to be enjoying the evening as much as we did.
Returned again this fall to pick up vegetales asados take-up. Again - Delicious.
