Suba's Restaurant

Our group of 16 experienced an exceptional dining adventure that truly showcased the restaurant's sterling reputation. The culinary experience was a journey of flavors, and the desserts were a highlight of the meal, with the perfectly cooked cheesecakes, coconut cream pie, and banana pudding providing a sweet and satisfying end to our lunch!

Everything was so so good! I got the bacon wrapped, crabbed stuffed trout with cheese and spinach casserole. Scrumptious. My husband ordered the ribeye and shrimp combo. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, had excellent flavor. It was delicious and those were the biggest, best flavored shrimp I have ever had. For dessert we had the cherry almond pound cake cheese cake and the makers mark bread pudding. By far the best desserts I have ever had. That bread pudding was out of this world! Ask for it warmed up, it makes allll the difference. Well worth the hour and 45 min drive!! You have to eat here!

My wife and I had brunch , you have to have reservations to eat here but it's worth the extra step. She had fried catfish I had a steak we both were very satisfied we had vegetables cooked to perfection, desert was out of the park . You will not regret eating here .

Suba’s is our favorite restaurant within an hour drive in any direction from our home. We have been dining here well over ten years! The food is amazing. Service is incredible. Atmosphere is cozy and not stuck up. Highly recommend. We eat here several times a year.

Was amazing food and service cute little restaurant in mountain city TN the price is right!!! YOU MUST TRY I have ordered A crab meat stuffing in trout fish and wrapped with bacon I know is sounds like WHAT? Serve over perfect cooked wild rice 🍚 🤤But worth it 🤤trust me! 🤩definitely going back again so many options for entrees and desserts 🧁 the one I got is called Makers mark bread pudding 😋 limited quality per day !

This place was highly recommend and the expectations not only were met but exceeded!!! Very friendly and attentive staff. Can’t stress enough, make sure to save room for dessert even if you don’t usually eat dessert!!! I ordered the popular chicken rancho and husband got country fried steak. Both came with two sides. We both got side salad that came on cold plates with crisp salad and homemade dressings (thousand island & blue cheese). Sending side for both of us was mashed potatoes. Again real and homemade delicious! Plus I couldn’t resist the steamed asparagus cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Food came out hot! Then decision on dessert. So many mouth watering choices. He got browner cheese cheese cake and I got the Bailey’s brownie truffle. Both were not from this planet, they were out of this world good!!!

Atmosphere was orderly and very quaint. Place including restrooms were clean as a whistle! No detail left undone.

I had dined here once several years ago & eagerly accepted the invite from a friend to go again. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation time & were seated immediately. Our server was friendly & attentive. We both ordered salmon entrees. I had the Salmon Oscar with a spinach side. The salmon was cooked perfectly & the dish was delicious. The spinach side was interesting. It tasted mostly of barbecue sauce & cheese. It wasn't bad, but it was a little too sweet for my taste. My friend was thrilled with her salmon & accompanying baked sweet potato. We both selected desserts to go. I didn't hear about hers, but my Maker's Mark bread pudding was quite tasty. If the opportunity arises to visit again, I'll definitely be back!

We were in the area to get a Christmas tree.
It was highly recommended by our VRBO hosts. The meals & salad was wonderful!

The food and service were amazing. The only issue was the acoustics in the room. The sound from a larger group could be heard loudly in our corner table and made it so it was hard to hear each other talk. Regardless, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We visited again today and the food was outstanding! The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The wait staff is always friendly. Save room for dessert , they are all delicious.

We came here from Charlotte and were looking for a local place to eat. Suba's Restaurant did not disappoint! Fyi making a reservation would have been a lot better but that was our fault for not doing so! They were so accommodating and friendly regardless.

If your visiting Doe Mountain OHV, you owe it to yourself to make a reservation and visit Subas while your in town. Always amqzing steaks and those desserts 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

This place is absolutely amazing and definitely worth a visit! Every menu item we ordered was delicious and came out fresh from the kitchen. The staff is also very courteous and efficient. Highly recommend and I will certainly be returning!!

This is probably some of the best food I've ever had. The smoked trout cakes were amazing! However, the best part was the SLAB of pie after the meal.

All of there food is amazing and very consistent. Hardest part is deciding what to order because it’s all awesome. The whole staff is the best people you will every meet.

Me and the girlfriend had a great meal here I got the buffalo chicken sub which was great. She got the Alfredo which she enjoyed very much the portion for the price ratio was a little small but at the same time I don't like a lot to eat for lunch. Other staff were fast and friendly it's a nice place.

I tried to put 6 stars but it wouldn't let me. I was able to cut this steak with a spoon. That's the ultimate test if tenderness and it's been the only place that's passed. 12/10 would come here again.

My wife and I absolutely love Suba's. The food and service are always phenomenal. The homemade desserts are incredible.

Highly recommend, very clean, super nice staff, and the food was excellent. A great sell of food to choose from something one everyone. The desserts were amazing. Everyone should try this place you want be disappointed.
