Washougal Times

Every single bite taken was incredible. It was an entire journey that I did not want to end. Food was way above expectations and it’s been a week later, I’m still thinking about this place. I will absolutely be back. Portion sizes are perfect and you will be leaving with a full belly.

Today we went outside the usual area and tried this place in Washougal, appropriately named! It far exceeded our expectations and you can order a red beer from the table-bonus points! It looks like this is a popular local hangout, it was a sunny afternoon and they do have a nice patio outside, it was crowded, but still lots of indoor seating, I recommend the back parking lot as the front one is smaller and crowded. The food was really great, we chose the prime rib and chicken parmesan, both dishes were really good and came with a salad which was fresh and crisp. It was a little loud, but we could hear each other so it was fine. I highly suggest giving this place a try!

Really impressed by this place. I’ve been twice now and each time has been a delight. The atmosphere is authentic and fun with a mix of bar and dining with a slight country flare. Patio is great, with fire pits and lots of sunny and covered seating. Happy hour is good but hard to find on the site or I’m just blind. $4 off burgers and $2 off apps.

What an amazing burger. Much better than the more expensive "gourmet" burgers in Portland proper. Great combination of flavors, very juicy and the fries were even quite good.

Service really cared about us and was very friendly. Great experience, I'll definitely be back.

We really love the environment the owner Ben has created by putting funds, time, and so much energy and care into this community gathering space. First off, the food is delicious! and then the atmosphere is great, and the attention to all the small details doesn't go unnoticed. Most of the staff have been there for a WHILE, and are super friendly and helpful.

We're loving the new deck and can't wait to enjoy it more as the weather heats up! For the cooler nights, the fireplace seats outside on the deck are cozy. Also very convenient to order your food straight through the app when you sit down, and easy check out as well. I wish more places added this convenience! We also love the full-length shuffle board.

Great local spot, food is super tasty, and we've always felt welcome and had a great time. ❤

This is a great place to go and relax and hang out with friends or just go alone and relax and wind down after a long day of working. The service was superb and the food was amazing. If I'm ever back out this way I will definitely be coming back.

We went here with some friends and had a great time. You place your food and beverage order using a QR code and our orders came out pretty fast and everyone in our group enjoyed our food. Great staff and atmosphere.

We have tried steak topped on salad and baked potatoes. Both were excellent, and I loved the seasoning on the steak! Steak was tender and cooked to perfection! They have a lemon pesto salad dressing that is so good! My favorite, though, is just the Classic hamburger basket. I ordered it with cheddar cheese, bacon, and all the fixings. It is to die for! The seasoning on the burger makes it burst with rich flavor. Big steak fries with awesome ranch for dipping. Definitely recommend this place!

First time visitors. Great ambiance and even better food. The pastrami sandwich was the best I've had in the PNW. Flat out delicious. Great portions too. My date had the Chilli and enjoyed it. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

I'm quite scared of bar-like places, but I decided to try Washougal Times anyway. I'm a bit sheltered and the serving style weirded me out at first, ordering in the front, taking a number, and having the food come to you after a while. The interior was a super casual and country-like place. Everyone seemed to be comfortable inside. I do like how friendly and kind all of the waiters and waitresses were. The tables were a bit dirty, but not bad. You can sit anywhere you want anyway.

I was so surprised by the quality of the food. They have great dishes, and would highly recommend their macaroni and cheese, super tasty and addictive. They have a different soup of the day, and I came on a day they served seafood corn chowder. I do not like salmon so I wasn't a huge fan, but I tried it and it was okay. I took it home to my fish-loving mother and she said it was the best chowder she's ever had! So I promised her I'll take her here sometime. I'm sure she'll love the salmon risotto or something.

This is our new favorite spot in Washougal for lunch and dinner. Crab cakes are pictured... moist, deliciousness. Salmon burger...umm umm good. Prime Rib night on Fridays. Drinks are great. We try to go once a week. We love the app for ordering from the table. Can't wait for outdoor seating to be weather available again! They have gluten free buns as well.

Totally unassuming spot with fantastic food. We stopped here on a whim after the place we'd planned for dinner was closed. So glad we did. Definitely coming back!

Great experience all around. We ended up going at about a time where it wasn't as busy but the atmosphere still felt festive and laid back. The food was delicious and the pineapple hard cider is a drink I would highly recommend.

WOW. I visited Washougal for the first time in a couple of years this past Friday night. I visited to see my brother, who I haven't seen in a while. He suggested Washougal Times. I thought we were going to a news paper. LOL! Anyway, loved the atmosphere and the servers were spot on! The food was delicious at a very reasonable price point. The drinks were great! Overall a great time was had. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Got the ribeye and steak bites. They were great definitely come here for some food and drinks if your in the area.

Amazing dinner with my husband. We shared the rib eye, mash potatoes, and asparagus. I added the prawns with it and I'm so glad I did. The music they played was so cool and something you don't hear all the time too, real classic country.

Love this place. Fun Spot to watch sports. You can order food by scanning the app at your table or just walk up to friendly Staff at the bar. I personally feel like it’s a Great place the service is quick, drinks are Fantastic and Food isn’t too bad. Great spot in Washougal!

First time here. Service was excellent. Server brought our first round and as he was handing it to me realized something had landed in it and took it back to remake. Very good attention to detail. Food was delicious. We had the fried oysters, parmesan wings, and make your own burger. We will be back.

Really good food and nice people. It had a pub vibe, but elevated to be a bit classier and nicer than I expected. I was also surprised at the quality of the menu. There were lots of options that were extremely good. I'll be going back to try different dishes. (The reason I gave it a 4 star rating on Atmosphere is because it's wide open inside, and when it was crowded it was super loud. There was also music playing, that forced us to raise our voices to talk. It's not a big deal, just worth noting. This isn't a quiet chill place, but rather a lively busy place.)
