Family Dentistry of Seneca

I am terrified of dentists. I went to Dr. Murphy and will never go to another dentist. He is the only one for me and my husband. I literally had zero pain. And he and his staff completely calmed all my fears. I have extremely bad teeth due to caring for my disabled son and being usable to leave him in anyone else care. Not even knowing my situation the didn't jump to conclusions and think I was on drugs. (Like so many others)The care I get there is amazing. They genuinely care for their patients and strive to help them in ever way possible! If you hate your smile or are in any pain please don't wait, go to their office! I promise you will not regret it!!

2018 My family and I recently moved to South Carolina and we all signed on with Dr. Murphy. And we're glad we did. The entire staff is friendly, efficient and professional. Dr. Josh and Michelle explain everything and take their time. Definitely a good fit for us.

Dr. Murphy is great! The office is a happy one and they are very helpful in explanations. Dr. Murphy has the newest of dental equipment including virtual X-rays, photographic viewing so you can see what you teeth and gums look like and he makes his crowns right on the spot with a milling machine that uses the photos he takes. Great dental office!

Dr. Murphy and his staff are amazing !! I have a huge fear of dentists and struggle with crippling anxiety when I need dental work. Dr. Murphy is the most gentle dentist I have ever been to. He does an amazing job making sure I have no pain and always puts my mind at ease with his calm and gentle encouragement. The staff is very friendly and efficient and has worked us in quickly when we had dental emergencies. I highly recommend this practice, and is the only dentist we will use.

I came in for Crown that was done by another dentist and his solution solved my Crown issue with minimum risk and basically no pain I returned today for a cleaning and to have some tartar removed. My teeth look fabulous I am so pleased! The dentist is also a comedian lol hes so funny I highly recommend this office and all of the staff I encountered were pleasant as well

I am currently pregnant and had to have a wisdom tooth removed which means I could not be put to sleep. During the entire process everyone in the office took great care of me to make sure I was comfortable and pain free. Dr. Murphy was able to remove the tooth and I never felt a thing. About 8 years ago I had the same situation but the oral surgeon I was sent to by a different dentist was not caring at all and that experience had me scared to death. I absolutely love the entire staff and I recommend if you have had a bad dentist experience to give them a try. I have now found my permanent dentist.

I haven't gone to the dentist as often as I should and decided to give Dr. Murphy a shot. Honestly, I get a little scared at the dentist. I told the hygienist about my anxiety. She was extremely pleasant and personable and quickly eased my fears. Dr. Murphy was helpful and informative. He gave me the run down on my situation and provided some friendly encouragement about how to proceed. Overall it was an experience far better than I'd anticipated. I'd highly recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone looking for a dentist!

Dr. Murphy and his staff are the kindest, most compassionate individuals! Admittedly, the dentist office is the last place I would want to go. But, after a really bad fall, I had to see a dentist, reluctantly of course. Someone suggested Dr. Murphy and his staff to me. I gotta tell ya, I do NOT have a fear of going to the dentist now!! If I can go for some serious dental work, feel no pain, even getting the numbing shot and not pass out, that is considered a miracle in my book! God has truly blessed me and others with a great doc and staff!! Gotta love um!!! ❤❤❤😊

I have SEVERE dental anxiety and found myself in a dental emergency. I did research on a lot of local dentists (I've been needing to find myself one anyways) and gave Family Dentistry of Seneca a call. I was greeted with kindness and compassion on the phone (I was in tears) and they were able to get me in within hours. When I got there I was greeted with the same kindness. Dr. Zhang came in within minutes and instantly got to know me as a person-not just me as the patient. He knew I had dental anxiety and did everything he could to calm that. His dental assistant was just as calming as he was. He was patient and thorough. He made sure he understood everything that he was doing and when he could tell my anxiety was getting the better of me he would slow down and say "it's okay you're doing great" and give me a breather. I have had very traumatic experiences with dentists and he put that fear away. I will never see another dentist again. This practice is fantastic.

Called on Friday December 21 around noon time.... with a tooth ache. I kind of knew it might need to be pulled. Even though they were busy....They had me in the office at 2:00 the same day!!! Most other places were closed and would not be open till next year.

Terrified... I had not been to a dentist in more than 30 years. I also never had a tooth pulled before. Dr. Murphy and his staff were honest and explained things to me. I was the last patient for the day and I was never rushed.

I trust Dr. Murphy AND his staff. That's important when choosing a dentist.

Great experience! The facilities were clean, and the staff was warm and inviting. Dr. Murphy has a great demeanor and took the time to explain what was going on with my teeth. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Murphy was great and so was the staff. Also the pricing is very affordable. Crown cost me a lot less there than other places around town and they worked with my insurance very well.

Dr. Murphy stayed after hours to make a new crown for me. How awesome is that?! Great staff, too! I highly recommend them.

Dr Murphy was wonderful, and his staff are excellent! I H A T E going to the dentist, but I would highly recommend Family Dentistry of Seneca. I am so glad my neighbor told me about them.

My husband and I have been using Family Dentistry of Seneca for almost 30 years now. We love that when Dr Murphy took over the practice that he kept the same warm, friendly atmosphere and punctual attentiveness to which we have always been accustomed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Murphy is a great dentist. They worked us in the very same day.

I would suggest this dentist office to everyone. They did not push the biggest and the best. $$$ doesn't mean the best solution. Amazing to have an old school dentist so young. With advanced technology. Yes I was over the top impressed

The staff is incredibly fun and kid friendly. My 4 year old asks to go to the dentist. The staff is also adult friendly, too. Great looking waiting area as well.
