Hardeeville chicken lickn

"Looks can be deceiving!" We had no clue what to eat and decided to try this location. Oh my goodness! By the looks of the restaurant, we were completely surprised at the quality of the food. We ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of dirty rice. It was so delicious, we had to order another to go! The sandwich was juicy, and the dirty rice was well seasoned. The homemade sauce was good (sweet vinegar taste). It was freaking amazing! 😋

There was a line and plenty of people eating on the picnic tables out front - and for good reason - the fried chicken was really good! But they were really quick, so the line moved fast and the food was ready quickly. I can recommend the fried chicken, the fried shrimp, the Mac and cheese, and the dirty rice. Easy access from I95! Definitely worth a stop.

Coming through Hardeeville we decided to stop and check out this small, amazing restaurant. I wasn’t sure at first, when exploring the in side:, the food look and taste amazing. The staff was very friendly Even the representation of the food looks very clean. I highly recommend .when I come through Hardeeville again, I will stop in to say Hi so give these folks a try. you won’t be disappointed.

Oh my goodness! Quite the little gem. We got carryout for the family after a long day travelling and it was sooooo good!
We were greeted and waited on by a very friendly face. After ordering, we waited outside. They were very quick and when we were called, they took care to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted since we're staying in a hotel.
The fried fish platter was HUGE and tasty. Brisket platter had a nice sized portion, tender, fat rendered and delicious. Brisket sandwich was great and my son loved the hush puppies. Chicken tender platter just has 2 tenders, but they're very large and a great breading. Also, don't miss out on the bbq sauce. Great flavor.
This will definitely be a stop for us on future trips!

I love this place. The best chicken I’ve ever had. I go out of my way to stop and eat here any chance I’m driving through I95 just past Georgia into South Carolina. Chicken tenders and dirty rice are my personal favorites. I always talk about this place to friends and family!!!!

Amazing fried chicken. The dirty rice and coleslaw on the side just add more flavor to the chicken itself. My son had bbq and the bones slides out of the meat. Eat outside or in the car added more experience if you are visiting in the area

By far my favorite spot to stop and eat!! All around amazing! The food is so hot and fresh! For sure southern soul food! And by gosh it's good! If your traveling through you will not be disappointed by making a pit stop to fill up gas and grab a bite to eat! These lady's throw down in a kitchen! Fried chicken (dark) , dirty rice, Mac n cheese, and green beans is my go to!!!

I don't know what the bad reviews are about but I didn't have any issues. Will return the next time I'm in the area. ❤

I just went for the first time. I walked in and stood in line and immediately found myself laughing with the people in line as well as the staff. The women behind the counter were some of the sweetest individuals I've ever met. I ordered a 3 meat combo with 2 sides. I got fried chicken, fried shrimp, pork ribs, collard greens, and baked beans. I got all that for $22! I waited maybe 15 minutes for my number to be called. Let me tell you folks, 100% the best meal I've had in a long time! So fresh, so tender, so much flavor! These ladies really know how to put love into their food. I'm full but I'm about to walk back and get more. It was so amazing!

Fabulous service- fiancé did three meat (double fried chicken) and ribs with dirty rice , corn and hush puppies. I did chicken livers with two sides tomato’s and okra with dirty rice . Definitely some of the best I’ve had in South Carolina !!

The chicken was exceptionally good. Well cooked and the hush puppies were a perfect example of southern comfort food.

Got some good fried chicken crispy and meaty. Seasoning in the taste of every bite also the Mac and cheese was a good side dish for being hungry and getting off of work these fine respectful and professional ladies can throw down as we say in the south much love to lickin Chicken from Arlene Rouse of Savannah,Ga. Gone get ya some hot food in ya belly warm ya up on this winter cold.

My fellow truck drivers and anyone else, don't pass this place on your way to waffle house. I almost did but luckily I'm smart. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. I've eaten here twice this weekend. The ribs and brisket are terrific.

Pricey. No indoor dining or restrooms. You have to go to the gas station next door to use the restroom.

Great food at a good price (we shared a fried chicken dinner with fries and brisket with Mac and cheese). No room inside so they ask you to wait outside after ordering. Your order number is posted right next to the door. It was an unusually cold evening so we waited in the car.

Great food at reasonable price. No frills service but super nice. Chicken and fish were incredible. Don't pass the desert.

Swung by here for lunch during a road trip. Food came fast and the people were friendly. You get a lot of food for what you pay. The fried chicken was fantastic! Our sides were pretty good too. Our favorites were the corn and mashed potatoes. Fries and okra was good too!

Wow! Fantastic food! Conveniently located right off of 95. Some of the best Mac and Cheese I have ever had! Fried chicken and Turkey wing were also amazing!!
