Beautiful museum, very well lit and designed. Has a variety of displays all of which were intersting and aesthetically engaging. They also have it designed for kids to find it interesting. They also have a good cafe on the ground floor foyer. Added bonus is the same ticket lets you in the other two Telfair museums.

Beautiful museums with a variety of pieces of art! The access to all three museums for $30 for 7 days is a great deal!

Unexpected that it had such meaningful area artwork. Gorgeous mansion with Victorian dining room. Sculptures and bird girl.

Telfair Academy Museum is a great place to spend part of a day and see the beautiful architecture of the Telfair family mansion at the same time. As the oldest public art museum in the south, it houses various collections of fine and decorative art. As part of a three-museum package the price is excellent.

A lovely museum in a beautiful city.
The artwork is amazing and thought provoking. Also most pieces are in gorgeous frames. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. The varying mediums keep you excited to see what’s around the next corner.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Telfair Museum on our last trip to Savannah, we initially landed in the museum because I wanted to see the Bird Girl. The statue was impressive and took me back emotionally to see her up close and personal. I found all of the exhibits beautiful, spent about an hour wandering from one exhibit to another. Another plus, your admission will also get you into the other sites at no additional costs, which we certainly did.

There are multiple buildings/locations, not just a single space. Lots of exhibits with wide areas. I visited back in January 2020 when there were interactive displays and a giant cloth whale showcase.

Beautiful exhibits and only 20 bucks a ticket (which actually gets you access to two other museums in the area as well). My husband and I easily spent several hours here and were enthralled the entire time. Definitely worth a visit!

I definitely enjoyed learning about the slave quarter house that the Richard sons and owens owned. The tour guides were awesome in directing and explaining history of Savannah. I learned that the owens building was the first to have indoor plumbing . The only downside is that we had to wait in the rain outside instead of being inside everyone was soaking wet but after I understood because it was only so much room for each tour group to be in the facility at one time. Although I didn’t get to see the Thomas building and Jepson building I enjoyed my tour. I would like for tickets to be less then $25 a adult but overall great place to stop by for tourist.

Beautiful museum. The Telfair Academy is a neoclassical Palace with an amazing collection, while the Jepson Center is more modern with rotating exhibits. Both buildings are a must see for Savannah visitors.

The Telfair house was surprisingly wheelchair accessible for an old house, except for part of the first floor, where the original kitchen is. The Academy is also wheelchair accessible. The artwork is incredible in both the house and the academy. We didn't get to go to the Owens-Williams house because the staff at the Telfair house said that it's not wheelchair accessible, but we hope to go back after I heal from my back surgery. We loved that there was an audio guided tour (from their website). My children enjoyed learning about the architecture and the historical figures. I loved revisiting the museums, as I had visited them in high school with my art club.

Wonderful and interesting with various exhibits. The large room full of paintings was amazing. We went thoroughly enjoyed our trip here. $20 for Telfair, Jepson, and Owens-Thomas is a great deal!

Well done series of museums. The contemporary art museum was done well with a very nice eatery inside. The museum on slavery was a self directed audio tour through the life and times of slavery in the south.

This museum was beautiful! I was so impressed with the layout, cleanliness, thoughtfulness in arrangements, the art, sculptures, just everything! No small detail was left unturned in the design of this museum. Highly suggest a visit!

When visiting Savanna we made it a point to visit Telfair Museum. It was wonderful time spent visiting the different rooms and the art displayed; most of the art and architecture is related to the history of the city. You will remember the Bird Girl's pose from the excelent movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" that is based on true events. The movie is based on the book written by John Berendt. We spent four days walking and visiting the different buildings, parks and excelent restaurants. Savanna is an American city you must visit.

I really enjoyed visiting this museum. Their collection is well cultivated and their exhibitions left me in a reflective state. Staff was friendly as well, I definitely recommend if you haven’t been.

Very interesting set of museums with a variety of displays ranging from history, art, and education. We visited the Jepson Center and Telfair Mansion , but not the third which was a few blocks over.

Jepson is really clean, modern, and has a lot of works of art from artists in Savannah as well as historical pieces.

Telfair has a lot of colonial history and art from early American years as well as European art.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. You also don't have to visit all 3 in one day, the ticket is good for up to one week.

This was my first big stop during my Savannah trip and I loved it. I enjoyed seeing the early to late 19th century sculptures and paintings. The rooms themselves were spectacular. I also appreciated that we got three museums for the price of one.
