Great Trinity Forest Gateway And Horse Trail

Very good trail with large fishing pond, perfect for a family barbecue. This place actually connects to the greater Trinity Forest preserve, the biggest green space in all of DFW. I just wish they would take care of this great gem better, as there is lots of trash and a lack of trash cans for people to use. We have been here so many times and we greatly enjoy the nature and the many established trees at the park. not many people know about this place so it is quite secluded and relaxing to spend the day. Next time, we will bring a picnic basket with some sandwiches and make a day out of it. there are a variety of native plants in the pond is always stocked with plenty of fish.

Best place for the family to fish that’s close to the grove it’s nice, low key and even on a busy day you’re able to find tons of great spots

One of my most favorite parks, it's not enormously big so you can take short runs if you don't have a lot of free time or just take a relaxing walk and watch the cute ducks! The only downside would be that since it's near a freeway you can hear the cars and everything, but I still think it's worth a visit!

This park is a nice place with a nice size lake and good scenery.. I come there to do a little fishing and relax

Had a nice afternoon walk down the trail. Nobody bothered me. Has bbq pits, covered picnic tables, a dock for fishin or observing from and a big pond with lots of turtles ta watch.

Nice and calm for me I don't kinda where a mask cuz there's not alot of people but I keep my distance from others and great for bringing my bearded dragon for a walk

Nice paved trails and a few open pavilions with charcoal grills available for picnics. There is also a fishing pond that looks like it may be stocked with fish.
