Surprisingly great coffee for an airport! I’m glad I picked them instead of Starbucks. I had the Caramel Latte and it wasn’t overly sweet and was overall delicious. The blueberry scone was good too, but would have been better if it was warmed up.

The vanilla cupcake and blueberry muffin had perfect texture, lightness, and flavor. I don't understand how a bakery this good is located only in an airport. I hope they expand, the quality is incredible.

Five stars is for the coffee, not the food. I had a delightful mocha. Much better than Starbucks ever was. I did not try the food. Many reviews denounced the food. I decided to decide for myself. I looked closely at everything they had to offer. I was not impressed and recused myself from buying. It did not look fresh or appetizer and it isn't. They get it shipped in from somewhere as does Starbucks. Starbucks is better in that regard for the quality and selection of food. I didn't encounter anyone rude as indicated in other reviews. The lady who made my coffee was very nice.

I grabbed a Quinoa and Veggie Wrap and a Mini Bundt Cake to take on the plane before flying out of DFW. The staff was nice and able to answer when I had questions about the ingredients in one of the baked goods. By the time I got to it, the wrap had been sitting in my bag for a while so it wasn’t the freshest which is to be expected with airport grab-and-go food anyway. I also have no idea what they were doing when they wrapped one half of my wrap because it did not come out of the box resembling a wrap at all and I had to sort of fold it up and hold it together as I was eating it, and the other half was somehow perfect. But otherwise it was pretty good - the quinoa mixture was actually nicely seasoned which was a welcome change from the usual plain airport veggie wrap. All the quinoa also made this a more satiating meal than a lot of the veggie wraps/sandwiches I’ve been eating on the fly. And the mini bundt was another pleasant surprise! I’m not usually crazy about plain butter cake and mostly got this because it looked fun, but the cake and icing had a lovely flavour and tasted really fresh. Prices not too bad for the airport, and worth it for the actually tasty food. And there was virtually no wait unlike chain fast food restaurants that had mile long lines.

I stopped by Whisk and Bowl for a sweet treat on my way out of DFW and did not disappoint! The PB cookies were fantastic and the service was even better. Mr. Melvin is so nice and personable and not just with me I saw him with customers in front of and behind me. Go visit Mr. Melvin he’s the best.

Refreshingly friendly and helpful manager on 2/19/24 around 8:15am. Solid classic macchiato.

The best latte I've ever tasted. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful. Starbucks needs to spin the block and challenge them to a duel 🤺

Dropped by for some coffee instead of walking to Starbucks. Super friendly lady working at the counter, very helpful. Whereas my last experience at the Starbucks in Terminal A was terrible. Terrible customer service. This comes from someone who works at a Starbucks. I was really disappointed with their service. So to find Whisk & Bowl in the same terminal with such a different experience, I’ll definitely be coming back here every time I fly through DFW and skip the Starbucks.

Stopped in for coffee. Left with coffee, a peanut butter cookie, and a much better day. Melvin is an awesome guy, and very personable. My day started with a 4am flight and will end after having spent over 24 hrs in three different airports before I get to my final destination due to layovers. Because of Melvins humor, sincerity, friendliness, and overall good personality, this day has gone way better already. Thank you sir for the good laughs and you were right about the peanut butter cookie 👌.

My grandkids love this place every two weeks I'm out of 75 dollars easy to see the smile 9n their face is worth it. I would to see this bakery outside the airport. They can only enjoy the cookies when I come through the airport. We need this barkery outside the airport so non-travelers can experience this goodness.

This small little cafe in DFW near C12, has a wonderful employee named Melvin. He was kind, and very clearly a master of his craft.

If your in a hurry and don't care about how your coffee is made or tastes, go to a corporate coffee franchise that pumps the soulless burnt "coffee" en masse.

Not here with Melvin. He took his time to not only treat me with excellent customer service, he made sure that my Spiced Chai was made with arguably artisan skills and took utmost care in every move he made. Truly awe inspiring to anyone who ever worked as a barista. It is clear he loves what he does and it comes across too. Best chai latte I've ever had, easily. (For those who know: I had the pleasure of seeing him make 3 drinks. Each time, every move had a purpose, nothing our of step. Just smooth fluid motions, milk steamed so silently you don't know it's happening if you don't see it. Yes, even with oat milk. No screaming. Shots pulling at the perfect time with a perfect amount of crema, and a beautiful pour to finish that was like watching a "so satisfying" video online. Truly masterful.)

In today's day in age, everything moves so fast, in a hurry, everyone is so oversaturated in their own lives. It's easy to miss things. I'm delighted to say, in a small cafe in terminal C at DFW, Melvin is making art and human connections. If your lucky enough to be here while he's on shift, you in for quite a treat. 5+ Stars for the coffee, 5+ stars for service.
A true hidden gem.

Extremely delighted with the service from here. They pulled a perfect double shot espresso and added a spot of steamed milk exactly the way I wanted. When I pointed to them it looked like they did not charge for the milk, they said yes they don’t charge! Why would anybody go to Starburnts ?
