Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City Layton

Our family decided to head to Salt Lake City for a few days for the end of Spring Break on a whim. We did not realize that the NCAA tournament was going on and many hotels in SLC were sold out or very pricey. It worked out great for us as we found our hotel of choice for now on when visiting SLC. Prices here were very reasonable and the every member of staff I encountered from check in to check out was super courteous and made me feel like they genuinely wanted us to be staying in their hotel. Natalie at the front desk was extra great! My 8 and 9 year old boys loved the pool and played in there for hours. I think it was all the inflatable balls that kept them entertained. Breakfast burrito in morning was great. Gym was clean and was sufficient for my normal workout. Rooms were clean. The location is a minute from the interstate and next to tons of restaurants so it turned out to be very convenient and a short drive to everything we wanted to do.

Traveling home and this was lovely place to rest after winter city freeway driving!! Friendly, proffessional staff and smiles coming in the door. Nice beds, good size rooms, (we travel with ebikes, it was snowy inclement weather, staff was wonderfully accommodating, supplied us with service towels etc). Good location. Several restaurant options close by.

What a wonderful place to stay. Clean rooms, exceptional service, they made me feel like I was family. All of the amenities you will want. And they agnoliged my Hilton Honors loyalty. Very impressed...keep up the great work.

Very nice hotel. Excellent value. Rooms are very clean. Bedding and towels arw of high quality. Front desk staff are very nice. Breakfast is cooked to order and was very good.

I've stayed here a few times. The staff has always been friendly, fun and professional. The beds are great. I like the bistro. My granddaughter loves the pool. When I stayed there a month ago, an expensive watch I've owned for 25 years fell out of my bag. I thought for sure I'd never see it again. When I stayed there this week, I asked the front desk person to check t he lost and found....she walked back out with the watch! I was so thankful for their honesty. I will stay here many more times!

This was a nice hotel overall. Didn't explore many of the amenities, but I enjoyed the lobby sitting area. The in-lobby restaurant seemed over-priced though.

Wish I could give you 10 STARS!!! My stay was very pleasant in unpleasant circumstances. The front desk staff was just the best! Can’t single out one in particular because they all were great. Problem free parking. A very nice area too. My bed was comfortable and very much needed. Lol The pool was refreshing and clean. Can’t say ONE thing bad about this jewel. Thank you Courtyard for everything.

The lady who checked me in was so friendly and helpful! The newly updated room was very nice. Clean, and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable too. Usually wake up with a sore, stiff back after sleeping in a hotel bed, but I was fine. Will definitely be staying here again!

We had a 100% problem-free stay. I was impressed with the friendly staff. The pool and hot tub were well maintained; I saw them check and adjust the PH of the hot tub twice during my two-night stay. Our room was clean. Our beds were comfortable. Everything I want from a hotel, this hotel delivered.

Staff are friendly and quick and willing to help in any way they can!!! We love our room, never been in a suite before but it's great! There are no restrictions to the pool area since they are not very busy so that's awesome! And the use of technology is fantastic for requesting services and accessing the room through the app. The only improvement is the paint in the tub is chipping.

The Courtyard staff was wonderful. Upon arrival we requested adjoined rooms, and were accommodated without fuss.

The courtyard has a nice modern feel, but isn't too in your face with the design. It's a bit clear the hotel is a little older (worn carpet in the halls and commons), but the bedrooms were quite nice and modern and clean.

I would have liked more information about when the cafe was open, and what they served. Signage and menus were not clear, and it almost never looked open.

The pool room was great. The hot tub was clean and working, and the pool was warm, but not too warm. I didn't see ADA equipment for the pool, but signage said it was present.

There was an outdoor fireplace, I never did quite get out to it, but it looked rather lovely.

I stay here very frequently for business travel. The staff are exceptional - Natalie, Myken, Johnathan, and team are courteous and professional. There’s a Starbucks and restaurant with great food in the lobby. The rooms are clean and well kept. Will keep going back!

Have stayed here a few times over the last few years. Great location, good rooms and the staff are friendly. The one downside is: No Free Breakfast!
Favorite Amenities: 24 hrs Gym, pool closes @11pm, firetable on the patio.

This hotel is one of my favorites! It is conveniently located close to ALL kinds of shopping, food and fun! The customer service has been excellent and the room is very nice! One exceptional thing about the room is that there are plenty of electrical outlets and charging ports all over the room. I have taken to bringing an extension cord and 6 way surge protector with me when I go to hotels and I was very happy to find out I didn't need it here! The room is spacious and has very nice modern furnishings. Will definitely stay here again!

Such a nice room. Very modern and clean. High ceilings, and very roomy. Myken at the front desk was so sweet and very helpful. I definitely would stay here again. Think the only issues that need some work are the slow internet and the loud fridge in the room, but other then that it was a great stay.

One of the Best Locations of Marriott Hotels in USA 🇺🇸 or salt Lake city. Great Ambience and friendly staff.

Comfortable stay and spacious rooms!

View from Hotel is Great- Snow Mountains and good scenarios . Fall season gives all colors of Trees 🌲 shows adding value to the Hotel location.

Area for improvement: Lobby Cafe/ Bar shall be in service 24/7 and would suggest multiple staff.

Love this Courtyard Marriott. This was my first stay and the service was great. As a platinum member, it was awesome to get the full treatment. The service was friendly and even got an upgrade. We got recommendations on local food and things to do. They also gave complimentary water and market item with a bonus scratch off that I got bonus points. They is a Starbucks inside and you can get breakfast for a cost in the morning. The rooms could use a few updates as the rooms was big but furniture did not look like it fit and looked older. This would not stop me from staying here again.

Note: few good restaurants near by like Sills Cafe.

I would describe this hotel as very accommodating and spacious. There is a lot of common area with seating and calm lighting. The rooms are clean with very peaceful decor theme. The front desk staff is charming and personable, and the GM of the property- Chloe - is an absolute doll. Very helpful staff!
