Voertman's Bookstore

The staff are so polite and helpful. At the beginning of the semester I was able to get my daughter her books here cheaper than they were at the Barnes & Noble in the Student Union. They also have a good selection of shirts, stuffed animals, and other memorabilia. I was impressed by their calculators behind the counter; used, but in great condition at discounted rates.

Great bookstore!! Laney was so helpful in making sure I got all of my items in the best possible condition. Much cheaper than buying from the on campus bookstore.

You can get UNT merch much cheaper than on campus.

You can’t beat it for textbooks or art supplies at UNT. I always recommend it

The BEST customer service! I needed a bundle of supplies for my Drawing for Interior Design class, and I called to see if they were going to be uploaded to the website. I live an hour away, so it would be much easier to have it shipped to me. The girl who I talked to on the phone was so helpful, and told me she would ask her boss to upload them on the website right away. I ordered shortly after, and within a few hours my order shipped! Thank you so much!

I went with my son to buy books for college and the customer service was definitely note worthy. The employees there all seem to work together flawlessly and they appear to enjoy their jobs (something I don't see often). Anyway they brought all of that when they helped us. Extremely satisfied and my son wore the free tshirt they gave him over the weekend.

Have been coming to Voertman's since I was a child.Over 40yrs, still has a great selection of items you need for school. Books to cards to art supplies . Voertman's has it. Can wait to bring my children here.

Very competitive pricing and the workers here are working as fast as they can! Despite being very busy at times, they will get you your books as quickly as possible. Excellent customer service here.

The young lady helping me was very friendly. Not sure of whether I should buy or rent, I thought I should probably buy the book and I decided I wanted a used book. The sales clerk asked me if I wanted to rent it and said that if I decided I wanted to keep it, I could convert my rent to a purchase. This was definitely the best option for me, not yet knowing if this is a book I want to hang on to. Plus, it defers complete payment if I decide to buy it later.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and I'm happy to support a local vendor (it's the Denton way).

Went to Voertman's today and it was the best decision of my college career. Phenomenal customer service. I was checked out by a lady named Heather. She was so polite and sweet. She led me to a book that was less than half the price at Barnes and Noble!

Absolutely incredible service. Needed a price match because B&N wouldn't do it, but the price was already so much cheaper regardless. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, staff was genuinely friendly and excited to help, and, get this: THEY GAVE ME A BISCUIT BECAUSE THEY WERE GOING TO THROW IT OUT ANYWAY. I haven't always had the best luck at Voertman's but that's the nature of the game of buying textbooks. You win some, you lose some. Today, however, I won. It was exceptional.

Voertmans is the absolute best place to rent or purchase textbooks. Last term I had an issue with an online subscription. I went to the store and the manager was able to assist me - not only that he upgraded my subscription! This term, my money was not going to hit on the rental date that was due - I contacted the store and they immediately changed it. I have never received this experience at the UNT on site bookstore. The one time I had to use it, I received disrespect and terrible service. I appreciate Voertmans and will always use them. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and work with the student!

One of the best experiences I’ve had getting books for school. Not only are the prices extremely fair and low, they also were patient with my requests. Kalley was a big help getting my books and helping me out!! I didn’t get the chance to buy and UNT merchandise at the moment but they had a HUGE selection and quite a lot of good deals and sales.

Do yourself a favor and buy from Voertman's! I have come to them 4 semesters in a row, each time they work with me on making sure I get the books I need when I need them regardless of how I am doing financially. The staff is always super helpful and friendly in-store and over live chat! I will be loyal to Voertman's until I graduate!!

This book store is much cheaper than the one at UNT. The employees are fast and friendly. A quick in and out if you have an employee help you. This store not only offers books, but also supplies you may need for school along with UNT merchandise. I use this store mainly to buy my text books if I can not find them cheaper online. Also this store dose include a small selection of furniture. You can even get your art supplies here. I definitely recommend to go and see for yourself.

Really good in terms of price for value. Especially in comparison with competitors and some online prices, even from the textbook producers themselves (they can also pricematch). Service is good and the people who work there are mainly students and have experience (they can advise you if you need to). They also have scantrons for a much more affordable value and give you 2 free with your first purchase. I can go into detail about the best and worst aspects, however if I were to sum it up, I would say that it is generally better than its competitors, sometimes it can be bothersome due to the long lines of students waiting for their textbooks.
