Beaux Southern Seafood

Y'all this is the seafood spot! This is how seafood should be done right here! We had a few different things to share and each was absolutely delicious. That coleslaw is acidic and fresh. Those hush puppies were huge and delicious and shrimp were huge and amazing! We also tried the alligator, fish and crab cake avocado and I'd recommend to give any of them a try! I'm not from Buda but it will be a go to place any time I'm in town! Great job! *clapping hands*

First bite of the oyster and shrimp po boy I was at the beach. This man is doing things right! Now any seafood cravings will require a 30+ minute drive 😅

Really great food! The fish batter is so tasty and crispy. Crawdawg boudin had good heat paired with the sweeter hush puppy batter it’s fried in. Chefs kiss.
This is right next to beer geek if you have trouble finding it.

I'm not a big seafood person. That's more the wife and kid. But since Beaux moved to their new location off 1626 they came up in a search for close by restaurants and they wanted to try it. Great decision.

We tried quite a few things. The diablos (bacon wrapped shrimp and jalapeños), crab cakes, fried shrimp box, fried gumbo box and the gumbo. All very good. Portions were excellent, and the shrimp were BIG. Like really, you can get used to the baby shrimp shrimplettes that a lot of places serve. Not here.

The only minor complaint that I could come up with was that the gumbo as definitely prepped for middle of the road tastes. But they gave us some salt and seasonings to make it to our liking and it came out great.

If you like seafood, definitely give them a try. If you're not big on seafood but can at least enjoy it, then treat the seafood lovers in your group here.

Crispy tater tots with cheese on top. Fish and chips is always a generous portion and fresh. Hush puppies are crispy outside and tender inside with great flavor. Other great options such as scallops, shrimp, and gumbo but only had so much room. Subsequent visits will allow for variety.

I got the fish tacos, my stepdaughter got the catfish basket, and we got the crawfish Mac to save for leftovers! I’m not sure what they put in the slaw, but it’s impeccable. All food was fried perfectly, and the green onions in the crawfish Mac are what dreams are made of. There was a darn wasp that kept chasing us, but it didn’t stop me from eating my fish taco while running away, ha! Definitely a great place to grab some good southern grub!

Good lord almighty, no matter how many times I have the Fish and Chips its like falling in love all over again. You'll eat until you're full and then eat some more because its impossible to stop. Their Crawfish Hushpuppies will have you stuffing your face in a most embarrassing manner because when they are that good dignity can take a back seat. Their seafood gumbo is made with a proper roux (not like the rest of Austin who thinks a roux should be burned black...), and you will NOT want to share so buy 2. We've had nearly all their Po-Boys and honestly could not say which is better but I'd happily eat them all again to test it out. All in all one of our most favorite eateries.

Absolutely amazing. Every. Single. Visit. One item not officially on the menu but frequently a special is Scallops Ponchartrain and it is our favorite. The fried green tomatoes, when available, are also perfectly done. I once had a piece of beer battered fish so large it needed to be broken in 1/2 to fit in the togo container. That was a bit greasy tho. The crawfish hushpuppies are phenomenal. The crawfish mac n cheese has a bit too much kick to give to the younger kiddos but learning that wasn't a problem with me since it was so tasty I ate it the next day. If there's a con to be written, IF, its that the place is popular and since he makes your food fresh there have been some long waits. I don't care and will keep coming back multiple times a month. The pic of the food was after it was well dug into, fyi.

Nobody comes here for the fries except that one guy that gave this place 4 stars, lol.

Was my first time here and was really impressed. The food was amazing. They have a great selection to choose from. We had their crabcake po'boy and their boudin balls and they did not disappoint. The roumalade was a little spicy, but sooo good.They have seating available to eat there. I will definitely be back. My only gripe is that there was was little shell in my crabcake.

I had the fish and chips and the crab cakes all were delicious. The breading on the fish was dynamite I don't know how it could be soft and crispy at the same time but it just melted in your mouth. The crab cakes were some of the best crab cakes I've ever had. The sauce was lemon butter which went perfectly with the cakes. I can't wait to go back!

Had a great experience with Beaux Seafood tonight. The weather was cooperating for the first one in awhile so the family decided to head out to Buda for a taste (We had heard good things)

There were 6 of us. And we all had a range of good from PoBoys, to Crawfish, to catfish to gumbo. Nothing but good things to say all around.

ProTip: If you think it might be busy, call ahead your order, so it will be ready by the time you get there.

Second time coming here. I really need to eat here more often as they food is so satisfying.

First occasion we had boudain balls, crab cakes and fish and shrimp basket. We were super hungry and THOUGHT we could finish all that but no, it was tons of great seafood.

Today, had the fish and chips and man, they have BOTH the fish and chips on lock! Fish is beer battered which makes a super light, crispy and airy batter. I made the mistake of having it with malt vinegar-not that it wasn't good, but the fish really didn't need any help as it was killer by itself. The fries, I don't know what magic seasoning they use but they're simply one of the best fresh, skin on fries ever that were topped with flaky salt. 🤤🤤🤤

Yeah definitely gonna return. I cant wait to try their Poboys!

Amazing seafood food! We had the shrimp po boy and a box of fries. The bread was soft, the shrimp was delicious. The fries were crispy and hot and there were enough fries for at least 4 people! We loved it!

My man saw this on facebook then said "we're going there today." So we went and so glad we did! It was great for the price the flavor and size was perfect 👌👌.
Pictured is the shrimp and scallop linguine & the "crawdawg" - crawfish & jalapeno boudin on a stick - so much bigger than we thought. Also had the basket of shrimp and alligator which was so perfectly fried - not pictured.

Most tender Alligator I have ever ate. Large portions. Definitely have to try Scallops Pontchartrain and Snow Crab Cakes...that lemon sauce was awesome!

This is my go to when I want food that reminds me of new orleans, they hit it spot on and when I went on my most recent vacation to new orleans, I found myself MISSING BEAUX SEAFOOD!

The batter on their fried food is amazing so flavorful, always give you generous portions and never leave you feeling left out

This place has some great food! We had the alligator box. Fried alligator🐊, jalapeño hush puppies💥, spiced fries, and coleslaw. Very flavorful. So good. The food trailor area is easy to access from the main road. The parking is free. They provide outdoor picnic table seating under shade sails/tarps. No table service. They do carry out for folks who call in orders or Favor and Door Dash can deliver. They take cash or credit/debit cards. Prices were ok. I will definitely go again.

This place is incredible. It's real southern seafood and it is delicious. Call ahead and see what off menu items are on special. Also the po boys are top notch.
